"A representative from J. A. Buffet came to my workplace to inform me that I’m blacklisted from ordering because they’ve repeatedly messed up my orders. I always order the same four items, yet multiple times I haven’t received what I paid for. Each time, the problem has been with my sushi. When I asked for a refund for missing items, I was met with issues. For example, I usually get salmon/avocado and salmon/cream cheese rolls. On my latest order, I requested two salmon/avocado rolls but only received one, along with two shrimp egg rolls instead. I was willing to accept the difference in cost as a refund since the rolls were significantly cheaper than the sushi, but it was completely inappropriate for their employee to come to my job and yell at me over their mistake. Edit: The same woman returned, screaming at me again and threatening to call the police and my manager, refusing to leave until my coworker threatened to call the cops on her. I also noticed they responded to this exact post. Yes, I ordered from them multiple times because I liked their food and wanted to support them. Every time I asked for a refund, it was due to an error or a substitution made without my consent. On 8/28/24, I ordered 2 salmon avocado rolls (usually I get 1), 1 salmon cream cheese roll, 1 shrimp egg roll, and a sesame chicken meal. Instead, they gave me only 1 salmon avocado roll and 2 shrimp egg rolls, which is about an $8 difference. On a previous occasion, they gave me only salmon cream cheese rolls, no salmon avocado. Another time, my manager and I ordered chicken teriyaki, but they delivered crab rangoon instead. I dislike having to ask for refunds, but I shouldn’t have to pay for items I never received. I have reported the manager's behavior to my district manager, just in case she tries to come back, especially after reading hundreds of other negative reviews, which makes me feel this was the right thing to do."
