"Mmmmm....soy garlic chicken drumsticks! Kim Chi coleslaw! My taste buds and head were swooning in foodgasm over this crispy delight!<br/ <br/ I don't give a damn what anyone else has to say about this Bon Chon location. Really, I don't. Just stop, please, stop your whining.<br/ <br/ I did not have any problems with the service when I dropped by here for a late lunch today. In fact, everyone was quite nice, attentive, and my food came out quickly. <br/ <br/ I didn't use no stinking Groupon or Living Social deal or any dang coupons. Sometimes you have to just suck it up and pay the real price. Wahhhh they did not want to accept by coupon. Wahhhh. Oh, just shut up already before I beat you with a chicken bone!<br/ <br/ Yes, it's a few dollars cheaper if you get it to take out. Great if you want to eat it at your desk at work, and it's cold and soggy by the time you get back to your office. For my first experience eating Bon Chon I wanted the full fresh out of the kitchen hot, fried, and crispy meal of drool inducing tastiness. Worth it to sit there and take my time with each delicious crackling bite.<br/ <br/ Word of advice skip the wings and go right to the drumsticks. I noticed a few people eating close by and it just seemed that with the drumsticks there is more meat to the bone, and they are big. I ordered a medium plate of five Soy Garlic Sauce drumsticks, a side of Kim Chi coleslaw, along with a Fanta orange soda to wash it down. Hey, I have to watch my figure!<br/ <br/ The drumsticks were just ridiculously flavorful and crispy. My breath will melt steel for the rest of the afternoon, so I hope no one comes near me. Loved it! The coleslaw had a spicy tang to it that was oddly addicting and I almost wanted to drink the remaining sauce out of the bowl. Free refills on soda yes please! Punch card with $10 off a purchase after five visits heck yeah!<br/ <br/ The only thing that holds me back from giving it five stars is the cost. Before tip the check was about $20. It is a bit pricey for what it is, and will only be a spot I hit up for an unhealthy lunch meal when in a splurging mood. Plus, I liked the music they were playing today. A mix of old school jams, rap, and top 40 dance/club hits that you used to hear at Webster Hall back in the day. Also, they offer a decent selection of beers and specialty cocktails too. <br/ <br/ I might have to sneak in here once in a while for a pre dinner snack before going home for dinner!"

"Definitely a nice relaxing Lunch. Came on a Wednesday and stayed for dessert.Had to try the Kkabaegi. Basically cinnamon and sugar twisted donuts. They where perfectly light, airy and Delicious. See the photos, as they where much larger than I expected! 4.99 for 2 and another .99 cents for the cream sauce. I was not too particular about the cream sauce but it was worth a try. The flavor to me seems like the milk after eating a cinnamon cereal. Smooth and creamy though so worth a try for yourself. Now on the the actual food!. I ordered the half and half chick wing lunch special. The spicy was infact spicy. The flavor was good but was a little bit too spicy for me after living in Utah for the last few years. It is definitely a Korean Spicy though. The other is the soy garlic sauce you read about in all the other reviews that also lured me into this fine establishment. It was very good. Definitely sweet but the flavor was excellent. I normally do not care for sweet sauces but would have this one again. It is that good. The main thing that impressed me though is the light and airy fry batter on the chicken. This fried chicken will not leave you feeling sluggish with their fried chicken.I ordered the season fries with my meal and they where perfectly fried with crispy outside and soft potato inside. I will say do not expect a Cajun or other seasoning. Their season fries consist of Parmesan cheese.I fully intend to come back to try their tacos and sliders at some point."

"My wife and I were out getting some craft supplies nearby. We could smell the food being cooked from down the parking lot. I wanted to find out what it was, and I was able to pinpoint it this place. I knew it was this place as soon as we walked through the door.We came in right after the lunch crowd was done and were seated right away. We ordered waters and then started to review the menu. This being my first time at this type of cuisine, I wanted to order something new, and something I could not pronounce. When I choose like this, I do not read descriptions of what is in the dish, so I have no expectations on what to expect.I ordered the bulgogi, zucchini fries (seasoned), and my wife ordered the fried chicken strips with coleslaw. When the food came to the table I was pleasantly surprised to see the dish was a large stone bowl, which was piping hot. It kept my food warm the entire time I was eating. The bulgogi was fresh, not just fresh made, but you could tell they used fresh ingrdients. The carrots that were used had a wonderful flavor. The mushrooms were amazing, and the kale was excellent as well. There were other items in this dish, but the freshness of these really spoke to me. I was happy to find a portion of rice hiding under all of this. The sauce that came with it had a little kick to it, but was not so over powering that it took away from the flavors of the fresh ingredients. The zucchini fries were well done, and seasoned well too. They came with some spicy dipping sauce, which has a little more of a kick than the sauce in my other dish, but was perfect, as it did not hit you so hard as to be too much.I was also able to steal a few peices of my wife's chicken, which was amazing, and went well in the bulgogi. They also had a sign about getting free chicken wings if you check in on a specific social media platform. So, I went ahead and did this. This got me 2 free wings, so I decided to try their spicy wings. The spicy wings are hot, but not in the normal burn your face off way. The use of spices and the other flavors in the sauce used make a delayed heat hit you. In addition to this delayed burn, as you eat more of it, it slightly cools the heat, and then builds slowly on the level, but not to an intensity that is not manageable. We have determined that this place hits a special spot in the food world for us, and have put this on our list as a favorite place to go. What is more, I was extremely surprised to learn that this is a larger chain of restaurants, and I look forward to testing the food consistently between locations. I hope to find that they eat like a hole in the wall place, but at all of their locations, as I expect them to keep the same flavor consistency and same level to details in their ingredients."
