Tender and flavorful half rack of ribs, slow-cooked and glazed with a rich, smoky barbecue sauce.

"Was with my son Christian aka Darkstar on the 10th annual DJ Cookout today. My first visit to The Haunt. It was a very hot day, but lots of Ac inside and shadow on the back deck on the water. 3 Dj stages and all were wonderful. I ordered mild garlic parm wing and the taste was so good! Crispy and delicious! I also have French fries when I love them... they were great too. I plan to go back when it's a complete menu and see more of what they offer. Loved the atmosphere and how friendly the staff are. Always smile... they really enjoy what they do. Thank you for your visit so wonderful! See you soon!"

"My wife and father consider themselves bbq counesours. And they are borderline bbq snobs. My wife 's mission in life is to try every independent que place south of the Mason Dixon and a little west of the Mississippi. They both agree that Miller Brothers is the best we 've enjoyed on many of our adventures. The year before my father passed away one of his last outings was to Miller Brothers and he told the server in a heavy German accent. That is the finest bar b que I have ever eaten. We where surprised in 20 years of eating bbq with this man, we never heard such a statement. We still go to Miller Brothers, we go more regularly now because we 've grieved and have more time. A lot of times when we sit at the table we sat with my dad I smile andi remember this happy experience with my dad. We are glad Miller Brothers was in our life while he was alive and we are grateful they still are today. We have 2 bbq places locally and 9 more all within a hour drive from us. We live in Ellijay and drive over the mountain to Dalton to go to Miller Brothers. Wonderful people,.Wonderful food and an all around wonderful experience Vegetarian options: Backed Bean, coleslaw, potatoes salad, green beans, baked potatoes, French fries, onion rings and Brunswick stew is what I remember of the too of my head. I get the baked beans and coleslaw everytime. Parking: The lot is large and wide, plenty of space to park anything short of an 18 wheeler. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a large parking lot and a wide ramp. The platform and the door are well sized for a wheelchair and an assistant. I would suggest because it is the mountains and the lot by nature of the terrain is not totally level. I do not use a wheelchair but my wife is visually impaired and we use the handicapped acces each time with comfort"

"Nice place to go eat some wings and visit with locals and feel comfortable. Been there for a long time now. Never any trouble here, maybe a little to many shots for a few and they start talking another language, LOL. It's a home town hang out, good music on jukebox, and Great wing's. Enjoy, tell Tammy I sent you ??. Parking: Lot of places to park, enough room for a good crowd. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp on side door for wheelchair to get in."

"I’m from Florida and currently on a cross-country road trip. After spending two weeks in North Carolina and trying six different BBQ restaurants, I can confidently say that Southport Smoke House served me my first truly excellent BBQ meal. The brisket was moist and incredibly tender—simply amazing. The ribs were so tender they fell off the bone, requiring just a knife to cut through the bark, which is the only reason I use a knife for BBQ (I know it’s odd, but I prefer eating ribs with a knife and fork). The sides were slightly above average, although the mac and cheese was wonderfully cheesy. Nonetheless, sides shouldn't be the main attraction. If you're looking for great BBQ, this is definitely the place to visit. Thank you so much! "Mountaineer Meats was a savior for my family. More than two years ago,my daughters planned wedding at Six Pastures in Winchester was cancelled due to COVID and instead we planned a Halloween Party for 150 there October 29th. Less than three months before the party, the original caterer backed out. We were in a panic to find a replacement, and Mountaineer Meats' staff said that they could do it. And man did they do it. They worked with us to plan the menu, worked with the venue to arrange the … – show"

"I really liked this place. My first time going and I'll be back. The service is very friendly and hospitable. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun.The food was great as well. My husband got the Nacho Peno burger and he inhaled it. The chips on it gave it unique crunch and he added some of their delicious sauces.I got pulled chicken with a side of candied brussel sprouts. DELISH.. I tried all of their sauces...really really good. The brussel sprouts were sweet and tastey..even my husband who hates them kept stealing them off my plate. They were kind of greasy though so I wish they drained them before plating them..or maybe cooked at a higher temp so they didn't absorb as much oil.Either way they were very good. Overall it was a great experience and super convenient located right on rt 35, in the Holiday Inn.Vegetarian options: They had vegan options on the menu.Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my gluten allergy."

"I visited this place after it was recommended to me. It was packed when I went in, so people obviously love this place. I ordered some loaded fries with shredded pork BBQ meat on them. I got the mild sauce. I think next time I would avoid the BBQ sauce all together as I personally think it was overbearing. I will say before I go too far into this that I did like that employees and the owner were both “touching tables” (walking around checking on customers making sure they are happy and satisfied … – show"

"I go to Jimmy K?s if a want a good meal. I often go for lunch because the wait is never long. They will not seat you unless your whole party is there. They have great breakfast and lunch options. They have plenty of parking and have options for seating attables or at the bar. The waitstaff are always very friendly and helpful. I love Jimmy K?s and highly recommend it to all!"

"I've visited this restaurant a few times before and have always had a pleasant experience, but today was different. It didn't seem too busy, so my family and I decided to stop by. The waiter noticed us when we entered, but after waiting for our menus, we were completely ignored. Other customers who arrived after us were quickly served, while we still hadn't received our menus after 15 minutes. Ultimately, we decided to eat elsewhere, which was disappointing since we've always enjoyed coming here in the past."

"Absolutely excellent food! I tried the cut brisket, which was boiled with the fat, and it was delicious. The baked beans and mac and cheese were also great. The combination of the Haitian and sweet sides was fantastic. The sauce was incredible; the Bourbon South blends Carolina flavors for a delightful taste. I highly recommend it! I will definitely be coming back."

"Damian's pasta is simply fantastic! As someone whose parents came from Italy, I can genuinely say that Damian's pasta is outstanding. What many people may not realize is that he also makes amazing pasties! During the COVID pandemic, we started driving from Green Bay, WI, to Iron Mountain, which is about 100 miles away, just to bring back half-baked pasties. We would freeze them, let them thaw for a day, and then cook them at 350°F for 40 minutes. They still taste great, but when you get them fresh, they're simply larger and even better. His pasties remind me so much of my mother's. Many Italians learned to make pasties from the Cornish immigrants who came to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to work primarily in the copper and iron mines. I've had pasties in the Upper Peninsula, and I truly believe that Damian's are the best!"
