"No sign whether to seat yourself or just stand there being gawked because you 're not wearing boots and flannel and a baseball hat or other reflective attire. Eventually they notice you and bring a menu. After six people seated way after you get their food you get noticed again. What was that you ordered so I can check on it which in my experience, is code for I forgot to put your order in that you gave me a half hour ago. How to be sure? The ticket brought with the food has a timestamp of 5 minutes ago. I never seen brisket sliced so thin. Like, meat slicer thin. Yet it didn 't have a hint of smokiness. When you order beans and beans be sure to clarify you mean baked beans and green beans otherwise you might get two of one or the other. Which tasted like they were straight out of the can with oddly, sausage added. The sausage also tasted like it never saw a smoker. Boiled? Sauce reminded me of cheap bottled sugary type. Definitely not homemade. The warm piece of buttery garlic bread was the best part. Should have ordered a loaf of that or gone to the McDonald 's across the street."

"The Bourbon Style Chopped Chicken was decent, but the garlic mashed potatoes were creamy yet lacked flavor. The green beans were not enjoyable. The turkey wings were okay but a bit tough and not tender enough, requiring some gravy for better taste. On a positive note, the candied yams and collard greens were delicious, and the cornbread was the highlight of the meal."

"I visited this restaurant for a late lunch with my 2½-year-old, and I was thoroughly impressed with the service! We were greeted promptly and given plenty of time to make our choices. Whenever I thought about needing a drink refill, Anne F. was right there to assist. She performed timely check-backs without being intrusive. Our food arrived quickly and was served hot. We also ordered takeout, and she offered us boxes just as I was thinking of asking for them. This was, without a doubt, the best service I've experienced in years. We will definitely be returning soon for another round of that five-star service!"

"The wife and I decided to try them after having gotten delivery from them when they were doing that for a brief time. She got a chicken Caesar salad after they were out of turkey blt ingredients. It had crumbs of cheese in the bowl, clearly store bought/bagged lettuce and ice cold store prepped chicken. I got the ribs pictured. This is 3/4 of them. The 1/4 I tried to eat there, we're super fatty and just...warm. it's clear the prep really wasn't done on them. Smoking/cooking usually can help fix bad cuts, but none of that here. When I say super fatty, you can kinda see it in the pictures, but it was layers of fat. See the missing BBQ sauce on top, it's missing because I pulled a layer of fat off the ribs. Applebee's up the road has better ribs, and cheaper. The fries that came with the ribs tasted fine, but we're just oil covered the whole time, and just warm as well. (It was like they weren't really drained, just tossed on the plate and gone) We also watched other tables around us come in, get orders in after is, and eating before us and leaving before we even got the food Decent vibe inside, though it was odd, a bunch of sports channels playing on the TV, but not the winter games the day after the Olympics started."

"Horrible food and experience. Placed an order for delivery. Restaurant got the order wrong; even the container noting the item was wrong, but order ticket clearly stated what the items should have been. They gave me fries when I had ordered baked beans, which were cold and had no salt or any flavor. Also, ordered a large peach cobbler and received a small. It was soggy and just wasn't good at all. Potato salad was very bland with no flavor. Texas Toast was a dry, stale piece of bread. Chocolate cake wasn't fresh; it was dry and tasted old. Brisket was dry and like cardboard, also not much flavor. Pulled pork was the only decent part of the two dinners we purchased, but the experience was so disappointing, no one wanted the pork. Not sure how you can mess up a simple order, or not serve fresh or seasoned food (bbq typically is full of flavor), but we won't be ordering from here again."

"Took my daughter and a party of 5 to this place for her birthday . Never got to eat our meals because they took 3 hours to cook and we brought them home in a box . Couldn 't eat them later because I was violently throwing up for three weeks from food poisoning from the salads , along with 3 other people in our party . Owner could not have cared less . Said the food takes a long time on purpose ' ' so people can enjoy their drinks ."

"We waited an hour for food that never arrived. No one informed us about the long wait time, and when we inquired, they had no idea how much longer it would be. We ended up canceling our order and called the manager just as we were about to leave. She mentioned that our food might be on its way but would check and offered it for free. Just a minute later, one of the servers told us that our order had been canceled. The manager didn’t even come to speak to us personally. If the BBQ place nearby is open, it’s probably a better option than this one."

"It's under new owners, was closed for a few months. I had hoped the length of closure was for some much needed updating inside. Sadly, not much had changed on the interior. The bar has so much potential. We went to their grand opening, had some great food, but service could have been better. We were there to drink and food was bonus. After we finished our meals, we were given the check, but we weren't finished and they never asked. So we left and went to another bar to finish our night. Our tab for drinks for the night was greater than our food tab. Their loss."

"Was with my son Christian aka Darkstar on the 10th annual DJ Cookout today. My first visit to The Haunt. It was a very hot day, but lots of Ac inside and shadow on the back deck on the water. 3 Dj stages and all were wonderful. I ordered mild garlic parm wing and the taste was so good! Crispy and delicious! I also have French fries when I love them... they were great too. I plan to go back when it's a complete menu and see more of what they offer. Loved the atmosphere and how friendly the staff are. Always smile... they really enjoy what they do. Thank you for your visit so wonderful! See you soon!"
