"I would rate this restaurant 5 stars if I could. Even though they mistakenly gave me the wrong sandwich (I had ordered the vegan meatball marinara sub but received the vegan steak and BBQ instead), the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. The freshly baked bread was a perfect 10/10, the vegan steak was also a 10/10, and the homemade BBQ sauce was a 10/10 as well. They offer a great variety of vegan and vegetarian sandwiches, with numerous options for the meat, vegetables, sauces, and breads, all vegan. I was pleasantly surprised by this place and will definitely be coming back!"

"The sandwhich was EXTREMELY messy and was not put together well at all! The order was made incorrect. I did not add extra dirty sauce and the sanwhich has more than extra. The sanwhich just fell apart eveywhere, could not even eat half the samdwhich because of the taste and messiness of the sandwich. This is extremely disappointing because I have eaten from Ikes before and it has always been delicious. This was the first and worst expeeience Ive had. I have a feeling the individual the made my sandwhich did this purposely because I called prior to ask if I could order a sandhwich that was not showing on Doordash menu. The employee was a male and was extremely rude and said he didnt know what I was talking aboit. He had a bad attitude to begin with. He had to ask his manager to take over on the call. The manager (female) was very kind and asked that I just notate the order on the app. After the order was placed, I called back to confirm that I notated the order, unfortunately the same male employee answered and was very short with me again and rude. I woulf not be surprised if he made my sandwhich like this on purpose. Will never order from here again!"

"I had the unfortunate experience of eating the saddest sandwich ever. I ordered the Reading Rainbow, a vegetarian option that was supposed to come with cheese, pesto, and avocado. I can't believe this sandwich cost nearly $16! It had a mere sliver of cheddar cheese that barely covered the bread, around a tablespoon of avocado, and hardly any pesto. To make matters worse, the bread was stale and seemed like it had been left out for weeks. Despite the description stating the sandwich would be served hot, it arrived cold. As if that weren't enough, my husband found a hard object in his sandwich that remains a mystery (photo included). It’s clear that the management is cutting corners, as this isn’t the first or second time we’ve had a poor experience here. Sadly, I’ll need to find food elsewhere because I’m still hungry after spending almost $16 on a sandwich! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place; you'll find much better options for sandwiches elsewhere."

The tables are rarely wiped down by the staff, especially during lunchtime when it tends to get chaotic. Additionally, the air conditioning doesn’t seem to function properly, leaving the dining room at a warm 75 degrees or higher. It's clear that their main focus is on takeout, as not much effort is made to ensure the comfort of customers dining in."

"This is definitely one of the best sandwich shops I've ever visited. Their selection of fresh produce is fantastic, and the quality of the chips, drinks, and desserts is top-notch. "PSA (as of the date of my review): If you order pickup, the prices for this store are $2-$3 more expensive than other nearby locations like West San Jose, Santa Clara, and even Santana Row. For example, the Madison Bumgarner is $17.35 here, but $14.41 at the other locations; the Matt Cain is $15.95 here and $13.25 at the other stores. Just sayin', in case the other locations are about as convenient for you. The prices are more expensive in store as well, but to a lesser degree.I have gotten Ike's at the OG SF location when they first opened in 2007, and thought it was pretty good. But since then, it has gone steadily downhill, and I discovered more savory sandwiches. For specialty sandwiches, I'd say Ike's is not that great. The dirty sauce is pretty sweet if you actually like that. They don't give as much protein as they used to so you'll mostly be eating bread. I would say the quality is as good as a $9 sandwich you can get at a cafe or grocery deli, so they do make it fresh and the ingredients taste of decent quality but it is not worth the price tag imo.They do have a variety of options for vegetarians, which is a plus.The service was fine and they have two unisex bathrooms."

We deliberately avoided choosing any cheese in our order because my son has a severe milk allergy, yet we were still served a sandwich that contained cheese. "the sandwich itself was good however it was a bit soggy. I got the 18. Matt Cain and they added a bit too much sauce caused the bread to soften and sandwich to become messy. it still tasted good. But those last couple bites definitely needed a few napkins. The main reason for the 3 stars however is that they FORCE you to add on chips and a drink even if youd much prefer just the sandwich. This will add about another $6-9 depending on what you choose. that being said at the price, size and quality (with forced sides) I cannot recommend Ikes unless you were wanting sides to go with your sandwich already. For the cumulative price point you would get much more bang for your buck at other sub shops."

"I recently had lunch at Ike's, a restaurant I had never heard of before. I was at the Wynn and was looking for a sandwich option that wasn't Earl of Sandwich. Ike's is located in the food court of the Fashion Show Mall on the 3rd floor. My husband was initially worried that a sandwich wouldn't be filling enough, but we both left satisfied and the ingredients were fresh. He tried the Super Mario, a meatball sub with fried cheese sticks on sourdough, while I opted for the Paul Rueben's, a twist on a classic Rueben with coleslaw added. Both sandwiches were delicious and hit the spot. The staff was friendly and we learned that there are 3-4 Ike's locations in the area. If you find yourself on the strip, I highly recommend stopping by this clean and fantastic sandwich spot. We will definitely be returning."

"I recently tried the Jaymee_Sirewich sandwich at Sourdoughs, and it was fantastic! Ike's Love Sandwiches is quite famous in San Francisco, and they've opened several locations in Orange County as well. You don't have to travel to the Bay Area to enjoy their delicious offerings! And of course, I had to have it on sourdough bread. I also ordered a mozzarella stick with their marinara sauce, which has a unique twist. There's a subtle hint of something—maybe a touch of horseradish? It's clear that Ike puts his own spin on things, and it's all very tasty. The yellow BBQ sauce and mozzarella stick are particularly distinctive, making every bite exciting!"

"Great food-Great service Short story- My wife and I (before we were married) ate at the Ike’s in the Castro back in 2010 and we thought it was amazing. We actually met Ike who came out to chat with our friend because she told them to write “Superwoman” on her sandwich sack. A few years later, my wife was working at a coffee shop up in Santa Rosa and an Ike’s moved it next door. We actually bought their sandwiches the day I proposed to her and we later asked if they could cater our wedding (they couldn’t). We moved overseas for two years and when we came back we drove up to Alameda/Daly City to have Ike’s. Since day one, we have ordered the same sandwiches: Barry B (turkey sandwich) and the Jerry’s Big Meat (or All Meat, I cant ever remember). At the Fresno location, both were excellent and tasted just as good as they have in all of the other locations for the past nine years. Moreover, the staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. We are super excited to have Ike’s in Fresno and we highly recommend people to try it!"

"Try the Beast Mode sandwich! You will not be disappointed. The store itself is clean and all the ingredients fresh. Make sure to order online to minimize your wait time (and helping the staff spend less time as cashier! Its silly how people get mad that they order during a busy lunch rush and then complain why they have to wait a bit even though it said 20 mins online. Plan ahead, order at less busy times maybe, and appreciate how hard the sandwich artists are working to process all those bulk orders coming in waves during the rush. If you have to wait, its because a lot of people are ordering at once because the food is good! You want lightning quick unhealthy food? Go find a drive thru."

"I always enjoy Ike?s veggie menu options! The Dutch crunch might have been too much for the meatless meatballs but they were delicious none the less. Also, i would?ve enjoyed a bit more meatball as it was filled scarcely with only three. Ratio seems offmaybe it was just my sandwich but my husband had the fully loaded sandwich with roast beef that was also skimpy where itmattered. We tried the onion rings and jalapeño poppers, they were ok. Onion rings seemed a bit soggy or doughy and lackedany crunch. The poppers were a bit better in terms of crunch but not worth the calories or ordering again. Additionally, mysandwich was a bit sloppy and hard to eat and I was fine just eating half as they are large. Glad I ordered pesto on the side asthis sandwich was filled lettuce and not much flavor. Average food sandwich dining experience, with an above average price tagon sandwiches, with nice service."

"Very very very good sandwiches! Think about a Subway with 3 times the taste flavors and price as well. It is a higher quality sandwich place that does not compromise the integrity of the sandwich in any level. Even the vegetarian options are delicious! Quality does come at a price. Each sandwich starts at $10 tax tip $3 for chips and a drink, so you're looking at $13 for 1 sandwich or $18 for a sandwich combo. Worth it? Maybe once in a while. Too expensive for a sandwich in my own opinion but it is delicious."
