"Upon entering, we were greeted by a sign indicating we needed to pre-pay, but the hostess informed us we could pay after our meal. One highlight of our visit was the great customer service; the hostess was very friendly in seating us, and our waitress was quick to refill our drinks.
However, the first thing we noticed was how warm it was inside. By the time we left, my girlfriend and I were sweating, and my son's cheeks were flushed from simply sitting there and eating. There seemed to be no air conditioning operating.
Now, onto the food. This is a buffet, so if you're expecting a sit-down ordering experience, you will be disappointed. The selection was quite lacking, with only two short buffet lines for main courses. About 40% of the dishes were some sort of chicken, another 40% consisted of bread or rice, and the remaining 20% was typical American food for kids. While the variety left much to be desired, most of the food was hot and appeared fresh. On the downside, some dishes were dried out, seemed to have been sitting there too long, or were greasy. The food that was fresh tasted acceptable—not extraordinary, but at least we left feeling full.
For two adults and one 5-year-old, the bill came to $32, which felt overpriced for the overall experience. In conclusion, when we finished our meal, we exchanged a look that clearly said this was a one-time visit. We won't be coming back. Proceed at your own risk. That's all I have to say."
