"I guess since Google only allows you to leave 1 review i have to edit my very positive experience to share the bad one, because we all know one bad experience can change the game. So, me and my family were out trying to celebrate my son's 5th birthday. Yes, I have a big family and yes we've patronized Rosati's many times, with my big family and half of my son's 4th grade class one time to celebrate his birthday 3 years ago. After plans not falling through at 2 other locations, I decide to hit up our favorite spot because all my little man wanted to do was eat pizza anyways. So I called and asked if they were busy, being courteous I didn't just want to bombard the place with a large crowd as if we just left a Beyoncé concert. I asked if they were busy and if they could accommodate a large party of about 20 to 25 people and I was told they were a little busy but service is on a first come first serve basis. I was literally about 10 minutes away so I took the chance. Drove over there to find half the restaurant empty, not that many guest and soooo many empty seats, that could have accommodated me and my family only to get turned away because apparently they only had one person waiting tables that night, all familiar faces as I visit this place any chance I get, the owner even came and sat at the table with us once to thank us for patronizing the business, and me being a true Chicagoan I wouldn't have had it any other way. Well that's all changed. Being turned away really left a bad taste in mouth as we always tip good, I for one being a mom always make sure there is not a big mess. They lost genuine customers. Me and my family will not be visiting Rosati's unless its the real deal at home, in my city. Thanks for turning us away! :"
