I would give it a 1 out of 5 due to long wait times and a lack of communication. The atmosphere gets the same low score, as it was quite uninviting and didn’t create a pleasant dining environment. Overall, I would recommend Takeout for the food if you're in the area, but don't expect a great experience with service or ambiance."

"I ordered a veggie burrito to go, and I was told it would have beans and tomatoes, but it was missing both those ingredients, as well as avocado. After just seven bites, I was left feeling disappointed. This was my first time at this restaurant, and next time I think I'll try something other than the veggie burrito. I don't believe a taco joint should be judged solely based on that. Everything else I saw coming out of the kitchen looked promising, though."

"The carne asada burritos at Bello's Restaurants are absolutely outstanding. I would easily give them four stars because I’ve never found better anywhere else. I always choose Bello's when I crave these burritos. I visited for lunch yesterday, and even after several years, their menu still offers the best burritos around. I even traveled all the way from Racine, WI just to eat here. The staff is fantastic as well!"

"Just moved into the neighborhood and saw this spot had good reviews. They are authentic with the flavors and real good and speedy service. My order was to-go following the day after a major holiday. Loved the taste of my burrito de carne asada. It was an average size but packed with the right balance of meat, rice (and I believe beans as well). I was able to get both the red and green salsa and they were both very yummylicious. That chipotle salsa was my top pick though. I was offered chips and salsa (which was more on the pico de gallo side), and it was also good but not spicy. I also tried the horchata (without ice) and it was cold still but super sweet and I'm pretty sure it's not made from scratch. Maybe with the ice it would have been more watered down but it was not good imo. So I'm a bit bummed out about that. I'll be down to try the Jamaica next time instead. And I'll def be back to try the tortas or other menu items. And they have a cute setup in one of the corners; It's spacious, clean and the deco is unique. I liked it! It was practically empty when I got there (just one person waiting for a to-go order), so I did not get the full ambiance of the place, but I'm sure they have their days (especially since it was the day after a holiday). If you pay with a card, they charge a 4% service fee. I did see an ATM inside, but did not see if it was functional."

"I ordered san Felipe fries called for the price I was told 12.35. When I went to pay it was $18.05. The fries were double cooked cheese and Carne asada and shrimp on top. That was it. Didn't look like rhe picture then the receipt was half of one could not see my total or the price or what I ordered on there. Not worth it. Photos coming soon...no I have the right one. I work right across the street that's why I know it's the right one. I called put my order in and I walked to go pick it up around 750 pm And I speak perfect Spanish. Castaneda in riverside way better."

"I love this place. I've been coming here at least once a week for over 7 years. They have the best tacos. I love the chunky salsa, it is the best. I've brought so many people here over the years and they all agree this place is the best. Great customer service. Food is excellent. Good prices. "Delicious food at an unbelievable value! We tried the adobada taco salad and burrito, and both were served in just a few minutes while still tasting quite good. While it may not be the best Mexican cuisine out there, it truly can't be beaten for the price and quick service. We loved the complimentary salsa and toppings bar, which enhanced our meal. Don’t miss out on the horchata and churros—they're a must-try! We opted for the original churro, which was generously coated in cinnamon sugar, making it a great deal overall. "Ordered food and when I received it , the plastic food containers were melted and smelled like melted styrofoam , and the order was incomplete. Not only I waited awhile to receive my order . When I called to let them know the problem the lady said “ oh ok “ . This is a great restaurant, but I think management needs to train employees on customer service train them on food orders ."

"There was PLENTY of staff, but the service was so poor. The waitress dropped ice on my table, picked it up with her bare hands, put the ice back in the pitcher and served water to the table next to me. I waited over 30 minutes just for a drink. I never saw my waitress and had to track down other waitresses for service. Table was never cleared. Never received a check. Just awful."

"The food portions for the prices are way too small. The cheese enchilada I ordered was definitely not a fresh made enchilada, I honestly think it was something they bought pre-made. The chile relleno was so small and hardly any cheese in it. Honestly I was not impressed at all! The only reason I even tipped them was because I felt bad that it was just the husband and wife doing everything, there was absolutely no other staff there. Hope they get it together but I don't think I will go back."

"The food was tasty, but I was disappointed to discover that the price was higher than advertised when I placed an order for a California burrito and asked about the ingredients. "I came in today and specifically ordered a carnitas burrito with pico, beans, and cheese, however when I got home and took a huge bite, I immediately noticed that it was carne asada instead. No problem, I called in and explained the mix up without any kind of attitude, the cook informed me that he would fix it. When I got there, it was a whole different story. The cook basically called me a liar and did not want to correct his mistake now. The cashier lady then began to give me attitude and they were both extremely rude about it. I finally got them to fix it, but my family and I will no longer be coming here to be treated so rudely when I did nothing wrong. HORRIBLE customer service"
