"The Good: The food was tasty and portion sizes were reasonable. The Bad: The food was overpriced for what we were given tempura seafood is VERY heavily coated and deep fried. The other dishes I did not taste myself but other party members had thesame opinion that their food was not really as appetizing as the fancy description. The prices reflected the fancy descriptionsbut the food didn 't really deliver. The older lady who waited on us was in training and was inattentive and a bit rude. Whenshe was taking our order she was obviously hard of hearing because I, right beside her, said and pointed to what I want on themenu and she still didn 't get it. She loudly asked her trainer what other people ordered too, like it was a task for her tohave to ask again. She never refilled our drinks, only the nice lady training her did. We had a larger party and the wait wasa bit long for our food, and then after we asked the older lady for the check, I caught the her just staring at us and notmaking any move to get said checks for us. Eventually the nice trainer lady came and asked us how to split the bill andpromptly came back to us. By then we were late for the game we were attending after, but at least not by much. (1.5 hours fromsit down to check, 8 people) The UGLY: I found a bit of metal stuck to one of my shrimp tempura. It was a small sliver ofaluminum foil or something similar by the looks of it but never should have made it to a customer in that state. I almost bitdown on it. I didn 't mention it because we were already running late and I didn 't want to cause a fuss. Pictures included theoffending bit and my tempura . TL;DR the food not what was advertised, and a bit overpriced. The taste was okay, nothing wasinedible, but it wasn 't what we expected. Portions were good. The service we received was two ends of the spectrum (onehorrible waiter and one good), and I ended up with a metal bit in my food."

"It was decent/tolerable after the new owners took over but is gone downhill pretty quickly There is always a different taste to the same foods I get regularly And always a different cost $3 for a small orange juice? Really??? And they charge you the same price despite you omitting a side from their plates Coffee is always burnt now ? Also Nobody here wears a mask and I highly doubt they are vaccinated"

"Lenz’s is the option when you have nowhere else to go and you live in Stuyvesant town and don’t want to walk all the way to first Avenue. Their hot sandwiches are not made on the grill like other delis, they heat their meat in the microwave. Also when they make their sandwiches they are very skimpy with meat and you end up having a lot of bread and vegetables. I don’t know who trained the staff on making sandwiches but they could use some retraining"

"Benny's Place is the best diner in this neighborhood. I regularly visit with friends or by myself, and the food is consistently hot, fresh, and tasty. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. Typically, my bill comes out to about $18 before tipping. I definitely suggest checking out Benny's if you're nearby. I particularly enjoy their skillets, omelettes, and chicken wraps. The service is great for dine-in customers."

"This place is always bustling and offers delicious, fresh, and hot bagels and breakfast sandwiches. They have a wide selection of salads, cream cheeses, and deli sandwiches. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it can be quite pricey and the service could use some improvement. Paying $6.75 for an everything bagel with a requested spread of vegetable cream cheese seems outrageous. I understand that food prices are rising, but that's still pretty steep. However, if you find yourself in Long Beach and are craving a quality breakfast sandwich or a fresh bagel, this is the spot to visit. I would come back, but I hope they reconsider their pricing and service."

"Very good food! This is not to say that I didn't expect a good meal, but it exceeded my expectations. I thought the cream of the broccoli soup was a great temperature (hot, but do not burn your tongue hot) and a good mix, the jumbo gyro was very thick with a large mix of onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce, along with delicious and generous lamb. The Sherbet ice cream was great, and the price for this generous meal was surprisingly low. A great visit to a place that obviously tastes first. New visit later: The soup was back at the temperature, not burn your tongue hit, but hot. Ribs were excellent! Several visits later Many good dishes, dinners are good and come with desert, rice pudding is great!"

"that's just an breakfast board. the omelets are of fluffy hebe style. bowl with fresh fruit was good. total good fresh food. but what made me feel like a 5-star rating, the waiters are not very lame, but with their orderables and took longer than usual to take their order. the waiters must be better trained. chefs who gather in the dining room to talk to other workers should never be allowed, looks cheap and sticky and ask how cleanliness the hands of the cook are. had not the pancakes, but they looked good, and they sprinkle the sugar slightly on them. not bad for a Sunday morning breakfast."

"Best breakfast shop in Rockford hands down. We came on a family trip from Georgia to Rockford and had to stop for some food, we cane to the waffle shop because my dad came there last tike he was here and it was amazing. Jennifer was our waitress and she was excellent we even asked her about hotels and she gave us great recommendations about not only inns but entertainment as well. We came back the ne t day just because the food and service were sooooo goodddd. I had the all meat skillet with avocado and rasin toast and it was the best food ive tasted since we got here, absolutely delicious and the cinnamon french toast my god it was like heaven was in your mouth absolutely amazing food and people. Looks like we had a piece of southern hospitality up north. 100 outh of 10 woukd try again."

"I also enjoyed the plant-based 360 burger, just make sure to order it without the non-vegan sauce (like mayo) to keep it vegan. It’s delicious and is served with sweet potato fries and maple syrup, which makes for a fantastic combination. The falafel is excellent too; they simply don't add egg in the recipe, so it's vegan-friendly. However, this is based on my own experience, so double-check when you order. The owner is knowledgeable about vegan diets and supportive of them. The bakery often experiments with vegan options, and recently they had vegan jodlers, which were quite good. The atmosphere is fantastic—a really cool café as you can see from the photos. They also offer a hookah on request with different flavors when you sit outside. There's a gender-neutral restroom, which is great. The surrounding area is also pleasant for a stroll! Freehold Boro is historic and provides a charming backdrop for a lovely evening, especially on warm summer nights."

"The food here is amazing and the service is even better. Warm, friendly, very attentive, and very proactive as well. Met basically every need I had before I had a chance to ask for it. The bread here is amazing. The bagels are absolutely delicious, probably better than anywhere else you can get them in 100 miles and the bread they use for their food is incredible. I honestly believe their sandwiches/burgers might be better than other competitors with how amazingly their bread compliments the rest of the food. A lot of these flavor combinations are absolutely unbelievable(I had the Chicken Sandwich, ate many breakfast items, and tasted the Salmon Burger). 10/10. Has quickly become one of my most favorite restaurants."

"Stood at the door for over five minutes on a Saturday morning. No one even greeting, but passing by. Place was not that busy at 10am. Got seated and then sat there for about 15 min waiting to order before getting up and and walking out. Again, place was no where near busy. Waiter didn't provide kids menus even though saw two kids at the table. I had specifically ask for them after about 10 min. This tells me they wanted us to order $12/$13 breakfasts for our less than 10 year old kids. Went down the road to lancers diner. Place was packed, got seated in about ten minutes, had a great breakfast with great service and was out of there under an hour. You lost this long time patron, family of four. $60+ average bill per visit."

"We were really looking forward to our visit. We ordered a straightforward meal: scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon for both of us. Unfortunately, they forgot the bacon, and the eggs didn’t have any cheese. When we pointed this out, they offered to either take my eggs back to add cheese to the already cold eggs or bring out cold cheese to sprinkle on top. I politely asked the waiter if he had ever reheated scrambled eggs, as that didn’t sound very appealing. He then took my eggs back and brought me a fresh portion, but my husband's eggs remained the same. I told him that was fine, and we would just share. By then, everything had gone cold. However, I appreciated that they only charged us for one meal."

"I ordered through Uber Eats, and the restaurant completely forgot to include a breakfast wrap. I called to see if they could help resolve the issue since my wife didn’t receive her breakfast. All they did was apologize and suggested I reach out to Uber Eats for assistance. However, the last time I checked, Uber Eats doesn’t cook or prepare the orders. The food we did receive was quite mediocre. I can't recommend this place, as there are certainly better options in the area. If they genuinely cared about their customers, I think they would have a higher rating."
