"I decided to try a new place, but I should have suspected something was off when the server refused my tip for taking my order, saying, "These people never tip me?" I was there for an early dinner at 2 PM and ordered a fried shrimp dinner. When I got to work just five minutes later and was ready to eat, I found that the fries were soggy and the shrimp were overcooked. I can honestly say that I won’t be coming back, and I recommend checking your food before you leave. By the way, I was going to tip her $2 for a $15 order, but she assumed the worst about me. I earn over $100,000 a year and don’t consider myself superior to anyone; I just won’t spend my money where I feel unwelcome."

"We live in Roxboro, and as everyone knows, our dining options are quite limited. Fortunately, there’s this little restaurant on the north side of town that doesn’t get nearly enough recognition, yet it serves some of the best food around. Plus, they’re on DoorDash! Without a doubt, this is my favorite spot. The food is made fresh to order (I’m 99% sure), and it’s consistently fantastic every single time. Treat yourself to a fried pork chop, or if you want to indulge a bit, go for the ribeye steak to wrap up your evening on a high note."

"I discovered this restaurant through a Groupon deal and I was pleased with my visit. The restaurant is small, with only 5-6 tables, but it had a cozy atmosphere and great service. It was a special experience to dine at a restaurant from X-Land with their local music playing, it felt like I was in the Dominican Republic. My mother and I ordered sandwiches with fries and drinks as part of the deal, but we quickly realized they offer much more than just sandwiches - their authentic Dominican cuisine is delicious. I look forward to trying more dishes at this restaurant in the future, it was a fantastic dining experience with friendly staff."

"I had a bad day at work. I and my husband picked up a buy we had ordered. tired of almost food didn't want to cook, so decided to try here. it always has so much to do that the thought must be good. we tried to order on the line and let us order only for delivery. we then called out of business and waited and waited no one answered. was a 14 minute drive to the restaurant. we waited for the phone. website said, had a trip thru so we thought we were going to order there. we climb into the window and tried to order, but was a pick-up window not driving thru. the girl was very rude. she said they had to call, we were busy. I said we called and nobody answered. they pushed a menu on us, threw the window and said, call it. I was angry. I moved here 5 years ago and lived here without this place, and I will continue to do so. I will not go back."

"Not many restaurants meet my standards, but this one is hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had in my 57 years! I’ll even go so far as to say my mom never cooked this well! In fact, no one in my family has ever matched this quality, and I have several chefs in my family, including a Navy cook! Moreover, they maintain a high level of cleanliness in their food preparation. They wear gloves and masks, which I truly appreciate. That earns them major points in my book because no matter how tasty the food is, poor hygiene can ruin the experience for me."
