"Average overpriced food. Atmosphere is good and gives the diner feel, but dang that food just wasn't up to part. I had a cheeseburger and fries, which should be difficult for a diner to screw up. The cheeseburger was tasteless and overcooked. The root beer float was decent but how do you screw something like that up? Felt rushed too while there. Price was around $20 for the cheeseburger and fries, and something like $10 for the root beer float. Plus tip and tax, came close to $40 for lunch."

"The Bell Diner surprised me yet again I was pondering what to have for lunch and one of their lunch specials caught my eye. Old School Roast Sandwich. This meal came with the most delicious Greek Lemon Soup the chicken and the lemon flavor made my mouth water with all these fabulous flavor combinations. When the sandwich arrived the nicely cooked roast beef sat inside a fresh tasting ciabatta bread. OMG the meat and cheese and this tender bread was delicious and satisfying to say the least. It didn't stop there this special also came with a hearty salad and one of the best homemade Italian dressing I have ever had. Add my favorite drink a diet Pepsi to the mix and I ate like a king for a very reasonable price.. Edwin my server was very attentive and refilled my soda when it was empty, plus his Excellent customer service there is what makes him a diner favorite. Kudos Bell Diner you really out did your self again"

"We began with the Parihuela (Seafood Soup) priced at over $20. The broth was decent, but the other ingredients were lacking. The diced potatoes felt more like a filler than a genuine addition, which detracted from the dish’s overall concept. The calamari rings seemed prepackaged and typical of many Peruvian restaurants, coming off bland and chewy. Overall, the Parihuela was average, earning 3 stars. Next, we tried the Peruvian Paella for $20. Traditional paella, originating from Spain, involves a careful, time-consuming preparation with saffron and authentic components. This green variation would likely disappoint true paella fans, as rice dominated around 85% of the plate, with peas and carrots making up the small remainder. This dish fell short on every level, deserving 2.5 stars. The ceviche, at $18.50, was the highlight. Although there was some disagreement about whether the fish was truly sea bass, it stood out as the best of the three dishes, rating 3.5 stars. Lucuma Ice Cream, priced at $6 each, is common everywhere but was tasty and refreshing here, warranting 3 stars. Chicha Morada, a traditional purple corn drink, cost $3.50. The water was fresh, and the restrooms were well-maintained. Service was friendly, though notably, no Peruvian staff were present during our visit. Many diners seem to enjoy this spot, but it felt somewhat removed from authentic cuisine. Overall, I’d give the restaurant 3 stars."

"I call this place to make a to go order an I was told by one of the employees that all they service was chicken tenders. When I went into the store there was one employee making pizza with jewelry on and he was on his computer which was right under the pizza oven. Another was listening to music and half the staff was not wearing any gloves to prepare the food. I was so disgusted that I no longer want to eat here employees telling lies to get out of doing work, not begin professional, and then on top of all that they want a tip) next time I will just go to McDonald's at least they wear gloves an act like they want to work."

"I have been hearing about Sweet Journey for awhile, and was walking downtown today had the opportunity to finally check them out! First, I appreciate that in these times, the price has gone up, but is still more affordable than other local competitors, which is much appreciated. It's also nice to see so many other boba shops open up in town--many/most of them are franchises/part of a larger chain. When I think of local businesses, I am thinking here and Eggroll Cafe near UMass Lowell. I had the lychee tea w/boba (my go-to), and it was refreshing, boba very chewy. I'll have to try others/check out some of the dessert selection, too. Glad they are here!"

"I had an amazing time at this restaurant! Thanks to Vickie, the bartender, for creating such a wonderful atmosphere. I felt completely at ease, just like I was hanging out with friends. Gary, the owner, treated us like real people rather than just customers, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend checking it out. I’d give it a perfect 10 out of 5!"

"One visit I tried the perch and another I tried the walleye and although they have great flavor, the fish wasn't cleaned properly and had several bones in it. If a restaurant serves fish, they're supposed to make sure all of the bones are removed. I will never order perch/walleye here again because I'm scared of accidentally swallowing a bone. Very sad bc I love perch and walleye and it's hard to find when you're not near the lake. Aside from the fish, all other food I've had here has been good. I've had the same server every time and although she isn't necessarily a bad server, she isn't friendly at all."

"The food was good. I just got the salad bar but the others ordered a burger and a steak. I was happy with the variety and quality of options at the salad bar; they're always like rolling the dice, but this one was good and clean. The music the staff was listening to (not sure if it was from the open kitchen or a nearby table they were using for other tasks) was kind of loud compared to the country on the speakers. Not unpleasant, but I could see how the 2 different sounds could really bother some people. We were also there pretty early for dinner and the place was almost empty. (If you've ever worked in a bar or restaurant, you'd understand that the atmosphere is a little different when it's slow) The tables need to be sanded and re-varnished because they're getting a little sticky. The cobbler was *amazing*. DO NOT FORGET THE COBBLER! That said, the food was really good, our server was very friendly and upbeat, everything was clean, and we'll go back. "Granted it was a Saturday and surprisingly it wasn't busy at all, but the ambiance and the overall selection of food was better than I thought it would be. The seafood was cooked well and the options for food were pretty decent. I went back for thirds and fourths for certain foods thats for sure. Overall I expected it to be kinda lackluster mostly because I've eaten there in past years and this is my first time eating there in quite some time. Will definitely be back."

"Don't even know where to start. The cheese steak is not a steak it's not even roast beef I don't know what it is, but looked like meaty mold. Chicken was missing the Patty, the cheeseburger had no cheese ordered medium rare got well done hockey puck. The bun was moldy on the other sandwich it was just overwhelmingly disappointing especially since we spent $97. The salad was good and the onion rings were good. Definitely not worth the money"
