"I am very selective when it comes to food, and this restaurant has impressed me every time. The steak here is some of the best on the northwest side, and I have ordered it for delivery multiple times. Stick to the steak burrito or tacos for a delicious meal. "I miss the original owners of this place. Granted they sold to these individuals 8 years or so ago give or take. Out of all the Mexican food in Grayslake this is the worse quality of the lot. Their steak and pork have fatty/gristled pieces. Most times you have to spit it out. I've found hair in my food. The last 3 times I ordered take out, I found a long strand of hair twice in the taco salad. I wish this place had more consistency."

"How have I missed this place, I've lived in Rancho cucamonga 14 years and I let this hidden gem slip thru my radar. The staff is so friendly from the minute I walked in to the minute I left they were so helpful and helped me decide what to order. Iordered the carne asada burrito which was stuffed full of flavorful meat, cheese, guacamole, and Pico de Gallo I opted for nobeans so it wouldn't be so huge and it was still massive. My daughter had special fries with carne asada, they were a heftyportion with beans and cheese and carne asada not one fry lacked meat or cheese. This place is definitely a must try with alarge menu, great staff and delicious food I definitely will return."

"However, the DoorDash driver took a long time to arrive, as it was rush hour and he got held up by a freight train. When I finally picked up the bag, I noticed that the drink was poorly packaged. It was in a plastic cup with a lid, but there was no extra wrapping or support to prevent spills. It was simply the cup placed in a paper bag. As a result, half of the drink spilled all over the food and everything in the bag. Fortunately, it seems that the drink didn't manage to get into the styrofoam container of tacos. The food itself appeared to be a decent portion and was made with reasonable ingredients. Unfortunately, the flavor just wasn't there. The meat in the tacos was rather bland and lacking any real taste, even though they were loaded with toppings. I won’t be ordering from this place again and I advise others to avoid making the same mistake."

"I can not lie the food here is great, it's one of the best on the north side. A little on the pricey side. However, the service is horrible. Meaning the women who answer the phones and take orders. When you call you're on hold for more than 5 minutes then the woman who takes the order act as though she is not knowledgeable and has an attitude. One time I went in and she hit a 15% tip without me consenting. When I said something she acted as if it was a mistake. If you ask for extra sauce or the one that they don't normally put with the order there is a problem. We really like the food there but the service from the folks up front is horrible."

"We have ordered from this restaurant many times in the past, but our most recent experience was quite disappointing. The Steak Enchilada Dinner, which is typically excellent, fell short and was just average. Additionally, the Queso Cup had a very unappetizing texture—it was like sludge. I hope this was just a one-time issue, but it has certainly made me hesitant about ordering from here again in the future."

"The food was good ol' home cooked Mexican and the portions were generous. However, it was Valentine's Day and the restaurant had done nothing special to make the atmosphere cozier or intimate. Bright lights, several TVs on the bar and table areas on, and I had to practically yell at the bartender to let her know we were there as we weren't acknowledged by anyone, even when only 5 tables were full. The Margarita recommended by the waitress who was lovely was not good yet we were charged for it. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to have it replaced with a better one. Better for every dining and not for special occasions."

"I'm giving them 3 stars, which is quite generous considering my experience! I only live around the corner, so I wanted to give them a try. First, I ordered a Steak Torta, and it turned out soggy for some reason. Next, I ordered Chicken Enchiladas with green sauce, but they came without any green sauce at all! Then, I had another round of Chicken Enchiladas for dinner, and the beans tasted scorched, like they were leftover from the night before. The chicken in the enchilada was dry, lacking seasoning, and there was barely any green sauce. What’s up with their green sauce? They are really stingy with it! Just a heads up, their prices have gone up as well, so they really need to step up their game."

"We ordered Mexican food catering for a rehearsal dinner and were extremely pleased. The presentation, featuring a unique serving table, was impeccable. Jorge and his assistant prepared and served the food to our guests, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We even loved the leftovers!
