The service was outstanding, and the food came in generous portions, allowing me to enjoy it throughout the day. While the flavor was decent, the excellent service and portion sizes more than made up for it, so I would definitely go back for another visit!"

"This restaurant might not be in the heart of the city, but it offers a fantastic pizza experience with its thick crust, generous sauce, and an impressive variety of creative toppings. I highly recommend this place for excellent pizza! The thin crust is also delightful. As a New Jersey native, I find it challenging to discover a pizza spot I truly enjoy, but this is definitely it! We work at Mercy Health Saint Mary’s, just a couple of blocks away, and we make it a point to stop by for lunch at least once a week for a slice. The sauce and crust are delicious! I also ordered a whole deluxe pizza and was extremely pleased with the quality."

"I went to this place to get crawfish because my sister said that was the best crawfish she ever ate. Unfortunately, we were a day late, and the season ended. So, I ended up trying the loaded mac cheese with the works to go. I ate half of it before I left the restaurant because it was so good. My sister got the New Orleans steak sandwich poboy and split it with me. It was really good, too. It came with a side, and we got the dirty rice covered with gumbo gravy per the suggestion of the waitress. It was good, but entirely too salty, so we didn't finish it. The other food was so good that I won't even hold that against them because that mac and cheese was fire, and I'm still giving 5 stars. I don't remember my server's name, but she was awesome as well. I have to visit this place again soon. I forgot to take a pic of the poboy."

"I was in the area for a wedding and needed dinner. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by the delicious food at this restaurant! It was healthy and tasty, and I would happily eat here every day if I could. I ordered the pita way bowl, which was perfect for my taste buds and came in big portions. I even have some left over for a little lunch tomorrow, along with the crushed lentil soup. Thanks to this meal, I won't be starving at the wedding tomorrow! I definitely recommend this place, as the service was fast and my delivery driver was awesome."

"I came in about two weeks ago with my 3 kids, which I rarely do alone because it?s a handful, I had a hard time juggling diaper bags, drinks, high chair and corralling the kids into their seats. The manager Luke/lance/name started with an L? was superhelpful went out of his way and carried the drinks for me and grabbed the high chair and asked my several times if I neededhelp/anything. Then my kid spilled his drink everywhere and he came over quickly to help clean up. Super nice staff! Will becoming back for the excellent customer service!"

"If you blink, you might miss it. Luigis is a hidden gem located right next to Axelrod. While it has its own entrance from the street, you can also access it through the outdoor seating area of the bar next door. I ordered my drink, walked through the hammocks, placed our pizza order, and by the time we settled down, I received a notification that our pizza was ready! It is as good as any Chicago deep dish or New York slice—Luigis truly gets it right. I usually have to request a side of marinara sauce to enhance my pizza experience, but they strike a perfect balance between toppings and sauce with a slightly crispy crust. I paired my meal with one of the microbrews and was thoroughly satisfied. I highly recommend trying the local offerings and adding Luigis to your must-visit list. P.S. The gelato flavors could use a bit more variety, but what they had was still delicious and generous for the price."

"I can't believe all this time I didn't know about this place ! I lived in Chicago back in 1995 and 1996 and I miss a good Italian Beef with the Hot Giardiniera . I use to go to a place a long time ago near the old drive in , but it is long gone . Other places I have tried over the years just couldn't get it right . Well , Windy City has got it goin' on ! I am so happy and will definitely be coming back and bringing the family .You can get it Dry with the Au Jus on the side , Wet , or Dipped . I got it Dry with the Au Jus on the side and used about half of it and that was plenty . It was good and juicy and I went through 3 napkins , so perfect . Ha ha . The Hot Giardiniera was on point and made my left nostril start to run a little , so perfect again . So happy to find this place .The service was great and friendly and the place was busy with lots of to go orders and almost full tables . The French Fries was plenty and good . The decor is typical of a real Chicago diner with lots and lots of memorabilia on the walls covering everything . Cubs , White Sox , Blackhawks , etc . I would highly recommend coming here . My son is ready to come here , he said he has been craving the Chicago Style Hot Dogs . See ya soon ."

"Horrible customer service. Literally laughing at a customer on the phone for asking a question is highly disrespectful. Their online menu states they sell New York style crust. I ask for that and all I hear is high school clowns laughing at me. Remember clowns US Customers pay your light $10 a hr paycheck. Learn respect and update your menu. Might wanna try to hire some actually good employees that don’t laugh and goof off and screws people orders up. Honestly save your money and goes elsewhere since they have ZERO respect for customers."
