"We came on 4th of July and were grateful it was open as virtually everywhere was closed or closed for dine in. Just a heads up, the online menu isn't updated and some items are not available anymore and have been blocked off the menu once you get to the restaurant, like lard nar. Overall the food was good. We ordered all veggie dishes and a few had a weird fish taste , not sure if it was cooked in the same pots and not cleaned well in between dishes. It seemed clean but a bit dated. We would go back."

"Food was excellent. We had a veggie dish, a shrimp dish and a chicken dish. All were good and piping hot. Prices good. Building and ambiance and service left something to be desired. Located in a small run down strip mall with a bar and liquor store next door and all the undesirables that come with it- loud obnoxious drunks and stoner dude loudly peddling his weed and 'stuff you can 't handle kid ' out in the open, proudly with no fear. The regulars there all seemed to know him by name rofl, must be a good spot for business despite the sketchy neighborhood. Deducting one star since I could hear this all from my dining spot."

"I recently tried Mexican cuisine at this restaurant and found it to be incredibly delicious. I visited on a Tuesday and was impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. The prices were reasonable and I found the atmosphere comparable to a restaurant I enjoyed in Fort Worth."

"I'm not sure how this restaurant received so many stars. I spent $50 on food that was basically inedible. The waffle fries (see picture) were cold, greasy, and for $4.50, I only got 9 fries. The steak bowl was completely flavorless, and I couldn’t find the vegetables I had requested to add. The steak was overcooked as well. I ordered the fried gizzards and livers, but they were also tasteless, and I was charged for a sauce that never arrived. I ended up throwing everything away. I wouldn't even feed this food to my dogs. There's nothing more frustrating than spending a lot of money on subpar food. I don't mind paying, but the quality needs to match. The pictures on the website do not accurately represent what you receive. How is this place still in business?"

"If I could rate Wally’s higher I totally would. I love every thing about this little locally owned restaurant: quality and creativity of the food (so fresh and delicious), variety of food on the menu (including vegetarian options), prices are reasonable and the fact that they are a local and super friendly outfit. I am now living in Texas and even in the Houston area I don’t get this level of Mediterranean deliciousness. I was in town and ordered the Pomegranate chicken with a delicious and super fresh side salad dressed lightly with a vinaigrette, the lentil soup, and as always falafel. They give you these beautiful little baklava as dessert and they are sooooo buttery and sweet! The chicken is tender and fresh and perfectly seasoned. The pomegranate syrup is divine. Rice was fluffy and delicious as well, the perfect side. I ate for three weeks in restaurants all over the nation in August and I can tell you this was my favorite meal. I can’t wait to come back and see them again soon! (They have two locations that I know of in the Rocklin/Lincoln area) Vegetarian options: FALAFEL AND LENTIL SOUP"

"Cheesesteaks are overrated...do yourself a favor and get the Special Italian (Italian sub). I got mine with sweet roasted peppers, oil and vinegar, mayo, and oregano. I was skeptical of the slab of lettuce it comes with as opposed to the shredded lettuce you get up north, but all the ingredients worked in perfect sandwich harmony. I also got a meatball parm, but had to decline the cheese when they asked if I wanted the mild or sharp PROVOLONE (no mozzarella in sight). You know how some people think cilantro tastes like soap? Well I have that problem with provolone tasting like throw up. (Unfortunately, I'm finding this to be the cheese of choice in a lot of Italian places in Philly). I brought it home and put my own mozzarella on it and threw it in the broiler. Either way, it wasn't enough to save it...their meatball parm just ain't it, folks! Stick with the Special Italian...it's a solid 10."
