Tonight my order was perfect and honestly some of the best Popeyes I’ve had. Family bone in chicken box with coleslaw and red beans and rice. Everything was great and well above average. Totally blew away bojangles and don’t even get me started on KFC.Great work Popeyes from ownership to management to staff! So happy to return my five stars.Finally dining room while smaller than the average Popeyes was very clean, light, and nice.Original review. First, I'm from New Orleans and grew up with Popeyes and have loved watching the restaurants move in first to Charlotte, then Gastonia, then Gaffney, and now here. Unfortunately, this location has some obvious and monumental problems. First time food and service were great, just as I'd expect from a Popeyes. Second time, they screwed up the order, and the food was not prepared right and tasted off. Third time the order was also screwed up, an item again left off (charged for it again too), and our family pack of bone-in Cajun chicken was burned and all but a thigh and breast piece were inedible. This location was packed like crazy for the first week, but the mismanagement, lack of caring, lack of standards, and lack of consistency have turned this Popeyes into a ghost town. Owners or corporate, clean house here before it's too late."
