"Absolutely amazing! So happy. We moved here from Chicago about 6 years ago and I’m always looking for a good deli and this is an amazing deli with incredible prices! I walked in and was greeted by a wonderful gentleman. He was such a pleasure to talk to. I got the gyro w fries and my son got the turkey sandwich w cheese sticks. I haven’t seen gyros here since we moved and this was so good. It was even better than Chicago. The fries were great, too. Turkey sandwich w bacon and cheese was so good and fresh…just delicious! Bacon was freshly made. Cheese was truly delicious and so fresh. Turkey was amazingly delicious! Cheese sticks were so good. The breading was full of flavor and the cheese pulled apart like cheese should!! And the prices are ridiculously low. We will be back to try the hot dishes!!"

"Cool atmosphere and vibe. I appreciate restaurants with creativity and try to mix things up a little. I felt like Charlie's was trying to do that but unfortunately didn't work out too well. Didn't like the sauces they had on the prawns appetizer or either steak we ordered. The people there were kind but the service was not very good. I ordered medium rare and my husband ordered medium and they mixed them up. Unfortunately, we couldn't switch since they weren't the same. They also didnt bring out the side that came with the meal and we had to ask for napkins and silverware. It was my sons 10th birthday (no kids menu by the way) and they were great about getting a candle and dessert together for him. That was definitely the best part of the meal. I highly recommend the cookie with ice cream on top. Probably wouldn't go there again."

"I want to try the lunch counter again when the timing is right. Menu looks reallly good. Friends love it. I remember the cafe fondly from college days. I go to the Pharmacy for everything from gifts to vaccines and just recently for icepacks to help a friend getting a new shoulder. Everybody in there is so helpful, like the drug and soda counter from my childhood hometown. Don't forget to pick up Hubs or Virginia Diner Peanuts... and I bet you can't resist getting something sweet from the many selections at the old fashioned candy counter. I'll let you know about my eating experience when I get back for that."
