"Probably the best Chinese food in town. And I only say probably because I haven 't been to all the Chinese restaurants in Ann Arbor. Out of all the places I 've tried, this is our new family favorite. The sweet sour tofu was incredibly crispy but super soft inside, the sesame tofu was also still soft on the inside but chewy on the outside (other places sometimes cook it too much, so it gets too dry). The vegetables in the lo mein and veggie spring rolls were super fresh and still crunchy, so good! We saw them make the vegetable spring rolls from scratch and they tasted awesome. We want to order more mixed vegetable dishes next time because the veggies are so fresh and perfectly cooked here. The food was very flavorful, the portions generous, the owners are very friendly and sweet. We wish we had discovered this place sooner and feel so lucky we finally did. We plan to be back."

"I've been ordering from this restaurant for the past five years; it's been my go-to spot for Chinese food delivery. Although the cleanliness could use some improvement, the food has always been good. Last night, I placed an online order at 8:25 PM, and they advertised that they were open until 10:30 PM. I received a confirmation email stating that my food would be delivered by 9:20 PM, which seemed like a long wait, but they usually overestimate the time. When 9:30 PM came and I still hadn’t received my food, I started to get worried. I hadn’t received any emails aside from the initial confirmation, and there were no missed calls. I tried calling the restaurant, but no one answered; it just kept ringing. Finally, at 9:50 PM, I made the decision to drive to the restaurant myself. I got there just before 10:00 PM, and it was completely dark inside except for the cooler. The sign on the door said they were open until 10:30 PM. Luckily, it looks like my card wasn't charged, but this experience made it clear: I won’t be ordering from them again. They’ve lost a long-time customer."

"We have been ordering from this restaurant for many years, at least once every two weeks. However, the quality of the food and service has significantly declined in our last few orders. The woman who answered the phone was unprofessional, lacked people skills and business etiquette. Our last order was completely messed up and when we called to have it corrected, she shifted all the blame to us and refused to make any changes. Due to this experience, we have decided that it will be the last time we order from this restaurant. If they continue to employ such rude staff, they will surely lose a significant amount of business."

"I had high hopes for this Chinese restaurant in Chinatown, but my dining experience here was an utter disappointment. The food tasted terrible, and I regret spending my hard-earned money on this terrible meal. The prices were sky-high, and to make matters worse, the tax was exorbitant, making my meal even more expensive than I anticipated.The service was slow, and the staff seemed uninterested in providing a quality dining experience. I waited for an extended period for my food to arrive, and when it did, it was lukewarm and bland. I could barely force myself to finish the food on my plate.To add insult to injury, the restaurant was located in a part of Chinatown that was notoriously congested with traffic, making it challenging to get to the restaurant in the first place. I found myself stuck in traffic for an extended period, and by the time I arrived at the restaurant, I was already in a foul mood.Overall, my experience at this Chinese restaurant was terrible. The food was tasteless, the prices were outrageous, the service was slow, and the location was difficult to get to. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I would advise anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine to look elsewhere."

"The room was not clean and tissues were not refilled. It seemed like the staff was either understaffed or overworked, or they simply did not finish cleaning the room before guests arrived. Although the sheets were clean, the overall cleanliness was lacking, especially during the ongoing Covid pandemic. I was very surprised and disappointed, and will not be staying here again. Additionally, it was disappointing to find out that the pool is only for guests 21 years and older, which limits activities for children."

"I've ordered from this restaurant twice before and had a great experience! The General Tso's chicken, broccoli, and noodles were amazing. However, I decided to try something different today and went for the Szechuan beef instead of the chicken, and it was terrible! The dish had the same vegetable mix as the broccoli, just with meat and a sauce that I found unpleasant. There was way too much broccoli, more than anyone should have. Plus, the menu picture showed peppers and onions, which were missing from my dish. My stomach has been upset for hours now. I tried to request a credit, but I ended up hanging up after the staff kept arguing with me. I won't be ordering from here again!"

To make matters worse, the owner refused to issue a refund, which feels incredibly unfair. The overall ethics of this establishment are lacking. The rice was bland and tasteless, and the owner didn't handle the situation professionally at all. I felt a sense of racial profiling as an African American customer. I've seen other reviews mentioning the owner’s willingness to refund, but my experience was far from that. I cannot recommend this restaurant at all; it deserves zero stars. "I have lived in Stillwater for almost 5 years now. The owner and management team just changed, and the affects are evident. This used to be the spot for great Chinese food and great service. It is not anymore. We walked in (2 of us) and waited along with many others to be seated. The waitress was not very welcoming. I ordered egg drop soup, it came out lukewarm. We ordered beef lo mein and sweet and sour chicken, with a side of fried rice. Both meals were lukewarm, the lo mein was just noodles and beef, no vegetables at all, and no spice seasoning. The fried rice was just not good, it wasn’t hot, had no egg, no seasoning, and tasted bad. It was almost like they warmed up frozen meals from Walmart. "On our most recent visits, we've found that the chicken used in dishes like Orange Chicken and General Tso’s has been replaced with a cheap, bread-heavy frozen product that is no better than something you’d find at the grocery store. The sauce for the orange chicken lacks flavor, needing more citrus, some heat, and acidity to truly shine. Additionally, the lo mein noodles are consistently overcooked and mushy, and even the white rice has been served wet and muddy. With automatic rice cookers available, there’s simply no excuse for underwhelming rice. On a positive note, the Pork Egg Rolls were decent after an initial period of being subpar. However, we've noticed a concerning trend—our orders now seem to be prepared in under 10 minutes. While speed and convenience can be appreciated, it raises a red flag about the freshness of the food; it often feels like it might have been sitting around, reheated just before serving, which would explain the overcooked items we’ve encountered. We’ve also observed price increases, which are somewhat to be expected in today’s economy. Yet, such price hikes shouldn't coincide with a drop in food quality. It appears that many Chinese restaurants are cutting corners nowadays, and unfortunately, this place seems to fall into that category. It’s disheartening to recall how enjoyable this restaurant used to be just a few years ago."

"A hidden gem with an unassuming exterior. Every Saturday evening at 7 PM, people wait anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour to get a table. After trying Hi Ho, we were seated immediately, and the service was exceptional, accompanied by amazing food. Their green tea and dishes are the best Chinese cuisine I've had across three different states. It surprises me that this place isn’t crowded every night. The potstickers are fantastic, and the egg rolls are crispy, fresh, and delicious. Every duck dish we've tried has been outstanding. The prices are more than reasonable. Whenever we're in the city, stopping here will be a top priority. Highly recommended!"
