"I just want to start by saying that I visited this restaurant while visiting from NYC and decided to stop by this hidden gem. The shrimp tempura main dish was absolutely delicious and worth the visit. I would definitely come back just to have this dish again. The sauce that came with it was the perfect complement. The staff were very friendly and if you're looking for authentic cuisine, this is the place to go. They also have a great selection of foreign drinks to choose from. Service was excellent for dining in."

"As someone from New York, I tend to be quite discerning when it comes to Chinese food. My partner and I have explored numerous Chinese restaurants in Scottsdale, but none compare to China Jade. Our first visit was impressive; we enjoyed sesame chicken, orange chicken, lo mein, and pork fried rice. On our second visit, we had an even better experience! I opted for the hot and crispy chicken, while my partner chose the pork chow mein, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic. I’ve found my new favorite Chinese meal. The food here is outstanding!"

"Food wasn't fresh! It was Lunch time and I never seen anyone put out fresh food. It was more of maybe they wudnt have alot customers so they waited until a pan of food was gone/empty before they brought more out. They brought just a little out at a time.The rice was dry and brittle with no flavor, the eggroll springroll was was dry, cold inedible The chicken was over fryed, the steak was fatty and hard 2 chew! The waitress was pretty nice, but overall this place was not worth the money, even though the buffet was $11."

"So I ordered a chicken fried rice because I saw one of their flyers at my apartment building, now I’ll be honest I went in there and it was empty. Not any customers and it lunch time, and I know why now the food is not just bad it’s like nothing the chicken was so pale and white and it didn’t even smell like chicken! There was no egg on my rice, the place is not ugly it’s pretty clean looking, but there is one major issue. The food is not good I can make a chicken fried rice better at my home, and if I can do a better job at home why wouldI ever order form here again? Instead of focusing on passing out flyers maybe focus on making good quality food, and people will come back to eat here. That is my advice."

"Myself and a friend decided to have an early dinner on 12-26-21 at the Mayflower. I used to live here in Capitola and was a regular at the restaurant! I was back for a visit and couldn't wait to revisit the Mayflower, one of my favorite restaurants in the area. We were sat asked what we would like to drink? A lady by the name of May was our server.. My friend ordered tea water and I ordered water requested a pitcher of water to which our server replied no. I clearly stated that I drink an excessive amount of water to which she said no to again, and walked away. Upon her returning with the tea and water I again asked for a pitcher and she again said no. I asked why, she said it was because of Covid and walked away again. I had ordered potstickers which we were both enjoying. I had put chili oil on mine ended up drinking both mine my friends water. My mouth was on fire I requested more water, May, our server answered with attitude that it's gonna be a few minutes. I noticed that a table of 4 had a pitcher of water and again asked, this time to another person in the restaurant taking orders and she also said no to my request, I pointed out the other table that had a pitcher she said we've only got 2 people and can't have it! I asked for my check paid for the potstickers. This was horrible service and just egregious behavior! Good service truly helps the food taste better, but what happens when they can't even get the water situation right!? It was but a simple request met with disdain and attitude!! Shame on you May Company!!!!!! You have permanently lost my business!"

"This Seafood Wor Ba was expensive and Completely FLAVORLESS…. I had ordered this previously with the exact same woman and she acted as if my English was so incredibly poor that she couldn’t understand me so she hung up on me several times because she doesn’t know the menu. I literally described it to her the way she described it to me and she then acted like I didn’t know what I had eaten before. This place has gone down hill. JUST CLOSE ALREADY. The woman that works here HATES HER LIFE. I asked for chop sticks and she stated “NOT A CHANCE”. She then stated “no matter what you want NOT A CHANCE”. The customer service she provides is best described as CANTANKEROUS. She has an incredibly disgusting attitude but acts COWARDLY as she continues to disrespect you while hiding behind that little barrier. She’s literally begging to be a viral moment. I recorded her atrocious behavior because people like her like to pretend that everyone else is the problem until they are exposed. Another woman gave a review describing this woman as racist. I believe it. I’ve witnessed her treating people differently. I paid $20-30 to throw food in the trash. Don’t waste your time eating here. There are far better places to eat in West Bloomfield. I wish ZERO stars was an option."

"They do not understand English good at all. I called in the order and had to repeat myself several times and she kept cutting me off like she knew what I was saying, but she misunderstood. I ordered Kung Pao shrimp and was disappointed to say the least. It was cheaply made with big chunks of celery and carrots as the only vegetable and chocked full of peanuts. I 've had much better quality Kung Pao shrimp from places like MKs which came with broccoli, carrots, water chestnuts, etc. and it was much more tasty. My husband ordered sesame chicken and some other chicken and it was fried so hard that he couldn 't eat it. He called and they did replace his food the next day it was much fresher but it was still very bready and not good. I wouldn 't recommend it."

"We first tried the Kingdom Buffet about 10 yrs ago when we started coming to Rochester for the Mayo Clinic. We were incredibly impressed then and still are today when we returned. The food is always fresh and there is a huge selection to satisfy the taste buds of everyone. I hope my photos show the many choices available. The decor is modern and we have been happy with the cleanliness overall, including the restrooms. If you want a great Chinese food value at a very affordable price, don't beside to give this place a try. I know you won't be let down."

"You know, once every four months so so you feel like a buffet, then you regret it. That hit us on a Saturday, so as we drove through Austin, we found East Buffet off IH35.A very typical Asian buffet with the regular favorites. The restaurant was clean and welcoming and our hostess and waitress we courteous and attentive. Since it was Saturday, the price was $16+ since they had seafood. They had fried half crab that was not worth the effort. Fried shrimp with a Cajun spice, which was over cooked to the point where it was difficult to get the shell off the meat. The best tasting option was the jalapeño chichen and the ice cream.I did not try the Mongolian section but other reviewers said it was a favorite. They did have a huge party room that looks like it could easily hold about 50 people."

"I am very disappointed. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this place. As a pescatarian and a truck driver, it's already challenging to find food options. I ordered the shrimp lo mein with white rice and a shrimp egg roll. Unfortunately, the lo mein was extremely watery and somehow tasted burnt. The portion of rice was ridiculously small—almost like a baby could have finished it in one bite. Honestly, the best part of my meal was the shrimp egg roll. I ended up throwing away the rest of the food because I was so unsatisfied. I wasted nearly $20 on awful food. If I could give zero stars, I would."

"Garden Buffet is a fantastic dining option. The Chinese cuisine was outstanding—the sauces were deliciously flavorful without being too spicy, the vegetables were fresh, and the meat was of high quality. During our visit, there was a blackout in the area, but the young staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We concluded our meal by flashlight, which turned into a surprisingly enjoyable experience."

"UPDATE: In my first review I mentioned that the atmosphere was not great. There is only one table, so do not expect to be able to dinate, but as I sit here, happily watch sea turtles slide peacefully on the big TV, listen to the relaxing music, I notice how much I like this atmosphere! The ceiling light is a window with a quiet sky scene, the digital menu is full of enticing pictures that it is difficult to decide which dish to order, and everything is immaculately clean. Not to mention the wonderful aroma as soon as I opened the door! Yes, the atmosphere, like the food and the friendly staff, make this my happy place! PREFACE: Absolutely the best Chinese food I had in years! I wish I found this place earlier. I ordered pig dogs, mixed vegetables with chicken and an egg roll. Everything was delicious and the only negative comment I have is that Google mentions that you can dive in, but there is only one table and the rest room was out of order. But no deflector, as I have ordered takeout anyway. Will definitely go back!"

"First time back after a few years the service is as great as before, but not so much the food. The fried shrimp were great! The Cashew chicken chow mein was good with lots of veggies served over chow mein noodles which was the only problem I had with my meal, for they tasted like they were old. I would've preferred steamed rice, but $3 for a bowl of rice seemed a bit too costly, considering the menu prices have increased as is common these days. The Sweet sour chicken (breaded) was also great. And so very glad this restaurant does NOT use MSG! Overall it was a good meal, I appreciate that the to-go boxes no longer have the metal handles"
