"We ordered the deep fried California roll, lobster tempura roll, tempura, and a large bottle of Asahi beer. The deep fried California roll was surprisingly delicious! In Japan, deep frying sushi is unheard of, but the crispy batter and moist rice complemented each other perfectly. It paired well with the beer. The tempura was also crispy, and I even enjoyed eating the shrimp tails. A generous pile of pickled ginger (gari) was served, which helped cleanse the palate.
The variety of Japanese beers, such as Asahi, Kirin, and Sapporo, were reasonably priced, especially for someone like me who enjoys a good drink. I was pleased to see draft beer for $6 and large bottles for $9. Although I didn't try the nigiri, I plan to on my next visit to fully experience their sushi menu.
I look forward to returning as the menu has a lot to offer. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and reasonably priced -- overall, I loved it! Thank you for a memorable Christmas evening. I will definitely be back!"
