"In close to 90 minutes that I sat there, on an evening with only half the tables inside and outside occupied and half a dozen servers, I managed to get served one piece of fish and a bowl of coldish rice. I had to ask for water, and for the sauce the fish is normally served with. The waitress refilled my glass holding it all around the rim where lips go instead of the bottom part, with gloves she had been likely wearing all evening clearing dishes and punching touch screens. With one million deaths due to a contagious disease in this country alone, one would think a sentient being would know better, and or someone would train them better. I waited 25 more minutes for my two pieces of sushi before giving up and canceling the order, paying, and leaving, a little hungry. I gave it one star only because no star was not an option."

Always love to come back to Jin Sho, probably the best Japanese in the bay Area. Thanks!

Great Omakase, mediocre service this place is pretty authentic for ardo (Tokyo) style sushi.

Looove Jin Sho! They’re so friendly, super tasty rolls. Just wish they didn’t close at 8:30!

Legit sushi but the serving time should be optimized because nigiri order came about 15min. apart. View menu

Completely uninteresting sushi. Pictures of other reviewers don't match what I was served. Panko they use for tempura tasted odd. Tuna is not sliced, but grounded.

Ferociously mid. The taste was good; the chicken karaage was nice and plentiful; but the Vegetable Tempura Entree had more salad and rice than veggies; and the miso was, again, ferociously mid, missing something even though it wasn't bad. Finally, the sashimi portions were, for lack of a better expression, whelming. I have nothing bad to say about this place, but it did not wow me.

The indoor dining environment is small and due to the COVID some tables are used for blocked front side space. There are dish sets, to-go boxes materials on those tables so it looks messy. After ordering, we wait for around 30 mins to get dishes served. The tuna here is good but other types of Sashimi and sushi are just ok. With the price level, I feel not so worthy. Sushi Tomi is better. View menu

Hands down the best sushi in Palo Alto. It’s called “executive sushi” for a reason. It’s definitely pricey, but very, very fresh. We love the edamame, miso soup, chef’s special role, spicy tuna, volcano roll, tempura shrimp roll, yaki udon, rock shrimp tempura… everything is amazing and the beer is cold. Really, really love this spot.Parking: The best parking is behind the restaurant in the garage or the lot 1/2 block down.

We ordered six dishes but only got five (didn't get the sashimi combo). They still charged us for it but I didn't notice until later because someone else used their credit card. The place was overall pretty inattentive. We had to ask for the checkmultiple times after waiting a while. I am not surprised they forgot the sashimi. But why did we get charged for it? For such apricy place, they should be more careful. Charging for food you didn't serve is not acceptable. I'm not giving one star becausethe rest was edible but this is a big disappointment.
