"This restaurant offered decent food, reasonable prices, and good portion sizes. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. It seemed they were overwhelmed by the holiday rush, as everything took a long time, and we waited quite a while for the check, despite asking for it three times. My friend and I ordered the fried shrimp, sushi, nigiri combo, and a seaweed salad. Overall, the food was enjoyable. While the fish wasn't the highest quality I've encountered, it was satisfactory given the price and portion size. We also tried the green tea ice cream for dessert, which was quite delightful. In summary, this is a genuine Japanese restaurant on the Upper East Side. I hope their service improves on our next visit."
