"I used to order from Chen's Chinese all the time. The portions were huge, the food was delicious, the delivery was prompt, everything was fresh, and there was great variety on the menu. However, my last few experiences have been disappointing. The second-to-last time I ordered, it took over an hour and forty-five minutes for my food to arrive. When it got here, everything was burnt, cold, and leaking. The delivery driver was apologetic, explaining that sometimes his boss accepts orders later than he should, and that their system was down. We had to throw away the extremely burnt sautéed napa (pictures included— the sauce should not be black) and the braised pork belly (I didn’t think to take a picture before tossing it). The restaurant offered no replacements or compensation for the issues. After that, I took a long break from ordering from Chen's. I was about to lower my review to one star when someone treated me to dinner for Game of Thrones night. The food was fresh and well-prepared that time. I’m willing to give it another try and hope the food is much better."
