"Sad to say that we were disappointed by hortus. Had a reservation at 9.15pm for dinner received a text reminder informing us of need to be prompt in our arrival and ordering as it was the last booking slot. We were again reminded of this by the host on arrival. All of this is fine and understandable, however we felt extremely rushed bordering on uncomfortably unwelcome the whole time. no time allowed to read menu before being asked for food order despite fiddly and unintuitive online menu format food arrived considerably before drinks had to order dessert, if we wanted it, before we had even finished our appetisers! Isn’t it possible for kitchen to stay open for dessert for existing customers? I know this is the case at other venues worst of all, the mains arrived before we had even finished the appetisers or had had our plates cleared away! So there was no room for the food on the table and the server looked very confused when we asked if it were possible for us to have the food sent back until we had finished appetisers and had our plates cleared. They eventually did this but did not seem to understand our frustration. Overall disappointed by service. The food was yummy, although the fluke was extremely acidic and the vegetables with the short rib were a bit bland, so on the whole it did not compensate for poor service. I do completely sympathise with the desire of servers to keep the late seatings short, but if it is at such significant detriment to the customer experience, then you simply shouldn’t accept bookings that late!"

"we love the cafe luna and are very sad that they were forced to leave the avenue in neapel. we will keep track of them at their new locations, but it will not be the same. a part of the pleasure was in the city. we really need no more boutiques and condominiums at our door eating is much more beautiful."

"Beware of food poisoning ordering any dishes with fruit (pineapple) due to my most recent and last meal at this once very good establishment. After informing the manager of my instant sickness I was treated like a common customer after spending thou$ands of dollar$ in the Bay Shore location over the past 10 years. This is my second occurrence of becoming ill from their prepared food from the kitchen in the last 3 years and I will never go back again. I don’t trust anything from that kitchen and trashed the entire $50 order including other dishes that came with the $20 poison chicken pineapple fried rice. The manager offered only to credit me for the poison rice not to write this review and instead I chose to write this with my name attached. I hope this serves as a warning it’s not the first time."

"We had a group of 4 Iowa Hawkeye fans and learned that The Loop is the Twin Cities Hawkeye fan club bar. The Hawkeyes were playing Richmond in the 1st round of the NCAA Men 's Basketball tourney that afternoon and we decided to check it out. We arrived around 2pm and learned that Happy Hour was just getting started. Drinks and appetizers were available at a discounted price and the service (Nicole) was OUTSTANDING. The Hawkeyes lost the game, however, everything else that afternoon was super. We will return to The Loop on our next trip to the Cities. It was great to be with Hawkeye fans in Gopher country."

"I had dinner at this fantastic restaurant tonight. I arrived at 5 PM, and it was already bustling with people. I’m pleased to mention that Kollin, the bartender, was managing the bar like a pro, so we decided to eat there since the wait for a table was longer. The manager, Cameron, came over to greet us. She was incredibly friendly and made sure we were enjoying our experience. She took the time to visit every table and engage with customers, showing that she was not only fulfilling her role but doing it exceptionally well. We had a wonderful dinner with outstanding service, just as I expected. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. My family and I will definitely be making this place a regular spot for dining."
