"I 've been wanting to try take-out from The Northside Inn since the whole lockdown began, as they are right around the corner from where I live. The last time I ate there was when I was a teenager. We finally 'took the plunge ' on Saturday evening, and ordered. We ordered delivery, which arrived on-time and still piping hot. I ordered the Gnocchi, and added two meatballs. Salad and bread were included. The Gnocchi was AMAZING. Possibly the best Gnocchi I have ever had. Soft, light pillows of goodness in a delicious tomato sauce. The bread was a definite plus to soak up all that wonderful sauce! The meatballs were great too, tender and juicy, with lots of garlic and flavor throughout. My partner had the ravioli, which was also great. The filling was not at all dry. The sauce, as described with the Gnocchi was the perfect complement. We also shared the Clams Casino appetizer, which, unlike most Clams Casino I have had, actually had the whole clam in the shell under the delicious broiled topping. Very good! Overall, I definitely recommend The Northside Inn, and am kicking myself for not trying it sooner! Ten years of living a block away from the best Italian restaurant in the area wasted! Can 't wait to try it again!"
