"My mom and I decided to give Saucey Bones a try because we are sick of the same old fast food. We are so glad we did! This was the best meal we've had in a while! She got the chicken tenders plate with 2 sides. Their chicken tenders are fried to perfection and taste buttermilk battered like my granny used to make! They were delicious as was her okra. The potato salad was ok but a little too much tang from the pickles or relish but still edible. I got the killer potato with pulled pork and it is MASSIVE! It also comes with a piece of toast. I just moved back to town and I used to get this same potato at a local BBQ place in Calhoun and paid about double, if not more, for this same potato! It was too much and I couldn't eat them very often. But saucey bones' spud is a really good price for a REALLY good potato! If you've never tried one, it comes with: meat of choice and bbq sauce, butter, sour cream, and shredded cheese, all of its loaded onto a big baked potato. We both got big portions and ate for about $20 total. Their prices are good for the quantities and the quality of their food!! Parking: They don't have a lot of parking actually. They're just never fully overcrowded I don't think. Parking can be extended around back. The only issue we saw tonight was exiting their parking lot. If in a larger truck, it's hard to get past drive thru cars when trying to get out of their lot. Kid-friendliness: Nothing fancy. Kids have room to wander and not much to get into so they should be ok and safe. Sometimes Employees or owner has their kids there so they like kids. Wheelchair accessibility: This place has plenty of room to be accessible for a wheelchair and no steps into entranceway. Their floor plan is really open."

"I love this place. I always have. The wings are great. I've been coming here for almost 30 years with some breaks in-between (lived elsewhere) but I love the wings, their beer selection is always great and they have upped their game on local craft brews. Some of the staff have been there as long as I can remember. I have taken people from other states and countries here and they still talk about it. So I guess you can say it's the “World Famous Candlelight Inn”"

"While on vacation, I received a recommendation from the friendly host at the Crockett Museum to check out this charming and cozy restaurant. It was the perfect way to relax after a busy afternoon. I opted for the soup and salad bar, which was incredibly filling and offered great value for money. Everything was fresh and delicious. "I have been coming here once or twice a week for the last decade but after today never again. I bit my tounge for the last 2 years with them overcharging me $2-3 dollars more then their online menu and price in- store is always inconsistant as well, I chalked it up to the Pandemic. Today was the straw that broke the camels back, I call in for a Turkey sub with gravy (listed on their menu $5.35 knowing well it will cost at least $8 at pickup) the woman answered the phone was unfriendly and stated we don't serve gravy. I responded that my order was placed many times before with gravy she then proceeded to tell me that she thinks they are all out. They lost a good cash paying customer but I suspect based on their attitude they could care less."

"While out on the lake whooping it up there comes a time when you have to put some solid food in yer belly or you may end up overboard. This country store has a dock that we pulled right up to which is very convenient. They have an awesome grill with a large variety of sandwiches and pizza. We ordered tuna on rye, roast beef subs and steak n cheeses. My steak was the bomb and had pepperoni mixed in! Also saw a good variety of beers and wine. Nicely laid out store. Lots of NH themed gifts and cards etc. This is a quintessential little town market and deli where locals can run for a quart of milk or whatever. It was not overly busy even on a Sunday in the summer. If your on the lake and your stomach is grumbling get a steak n cheese and your good to go."

"Holly, the main manager, is currently away, but Kady and Diane are doing a great job in her absence. However, I'm disappointed that the venue has cut back on poker games. They claim that we don't spend enough money, which isn't true—four of us spend an average of $400 weekly, and our bartender earns at least $100 in tips. I'm considering finding a better place. Their explanation seems questionable, especially since karaoke has replaced poker. I wouldn't recommend this place to my family or friends, unless Kady or Diane are working. This isn't good business practice, and it's frustrating when customers are fed lies."
