"Holly, the main manager, is currently away, but Kady and Diane are doing a great job in her absence. However, I'm disappointed that the venue has cut back on poker games. They claim that we don't spend enough money, which isn't true—four of us spend an average of $400 weekly, and our bartender earns at least $100 in tips. I'm considering finding a better place. Their explanation seems questionable, especially since karaoke has replaced poker. I wouldn't recommend this place to my family or friends, unless Kady or Diane are working. This isn't good business practice, and it's frustrating when customers are fed lies."

Diane is an excellent bartender. Food is good. Shrimp and wing night on Tuesdays is a great deal. It's a relaxed atmosphere place, I like it.

It used to be nice when Patty owned it, but now it’s actually called Patrick's, not Rick's. The place is run-down, the bar staff are unfriendly, and the food is hit or miss—most of the time, it’s not very good. View menu

You should change the name. It's an insult for Patty and Rick. The food is terrible!!!! Stop riding the coats, what's gone now. You are no longer willing to talk to what this name means for many people. You would have listened to your employees and left everything alone. Painful! Another dive in Essex.

Love the bartenders. Love the atmosphere.. not so much fan of changes to menu. No more steamed anything cause owners won?t buy a new steamer. The menu , bar and employees have made this a go to place. Been trying to like it since ownership changed but not same. Food is mostly good. But what used to fill you up now leaves you hungry. I think I need to move on to another haunt in Essex

I've been going here since I was a kid. Now I'm older and I enjoy the bar experience. Kellie is an amazing bartender and waitress. Bathrooms are clean, waitresses are happy and pleasant, food is hot and fresh. jukebox is online and has an app you can use to control the music from your seat. Thursday night Steak Night! Karaoke on Monday, Sunday night live music. Everything I'd want in a local bar. View menu

I had visited that bar through the back door a few times, but during my last visit, I was confronted with two Confederate flags displayed outside. As a Black woman, that immediately raised concerns for me, and negative thoughts started to fill my mind. I hesitated to return because I worried that they might treat me poorly or even tamper with my food and drink. I should have recognized that something was off when an older white man pulled away from me the first time I went there.

"How lucky are we in Baltimore to have such a great Greek restaurant serving up authentic Greek specialties since 1977! I think I have been coming here for over 30 years and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is not large – two rooms with tables for 2 and 4. They do not take reservations. It is brightly painted with scenes of Greece that only add to the charm of the restaurant. Tammy, our server, has been there for over 20 years, and she has mastered the art of taking care of her customers. We started off with the Kalamari, which immediately transported me back to Italy. It was a generous portion of calamari lightly breaded, fried to perfection, and served with marinara sauce. We were off to a great start. Our friends ordered two bowls of the Avgolemono soup. It was piping hot and delicious. My husband ordered the Souvlaki Platter with one steak skewer and one lamb skewer with roasted potatoes and vegetables. I had the Pastitsio, which was baked ziti layered with meat sauce and topped with creamy bechamel and parmesan. Oh my, I was in heaven. Both were served with a Greek salad. They make their own Greek salad dressing, and it is beyond good. You actually can buy a bottle of their dressing and keep bringing it back for refills which is what we do. Our friends ordered Grilled Chicken and Steak Souvlaki skewers as well as a side Greek salad and an order of roasted potatoes. Everything came with pita wedges. The portions were so generous that we have enough for lunch today. All of our dishes were freshly prepared using quality ingredients. We really liked the fact that the restaurant is BYOB with a $2.50 per person charge. They are now also taking credit cards. Treat yourself and come to Samos for great service and food!"
