"The service was awful. For some reason half of the entrees came out with the appetizers so everyone was eating at different times. The waitress just keep walking by our table and not acknowledging that we were there or asking if we needed anything. Blatant disregard for us as people. We spoke to the manager who refused to understand the problem. He only sort of apologized and came back to tell us he comped our drinks and we should come back to visit him. Why?? We’ll still have to endure terrible service and mediocre food. No thanks. I’d rather spend my money elsewhere."

"Came here to celebrate my son‘s 16th birthday. He is quite the foodie but never experienced a restaurant of this caliber. He ordered the special appetizer with an array of raw seafood and caviar. Truffles were in season so my daughter had truffle dressing on her salad, I had homemade pasta from farm raised chicken eggs and truffles, and my son’s duck egg had truffles. My wife had lobster ravioli. All meals were excellent with spot on service. They gave my son a card for his birthday that wasn’t just signed by everyone, rather it had a personal message. It made an impression on him, which is hard to do. Finally, the mixed drinks at the bar or truly unique and equally fantastic. I recommend the vanilla infused Elijah Craig with pear."

"The restaurant offers delicious food, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere with plenty of fires both indoors and outdoors. The decor features a horse theme throughout. The calamari was priced at $18 and came with fried lemon slices and jalapenos. The lobster bisque, priced at $9, had chunks of lobster in a creamy and rich broth. The grilled Caesar salad and truffle farfalle were tasty options at $9 and $20, respectively. The chicken roulade, priced at $29, was flavorful with a puff pastry topping. The pork knuckle, also $29, was tender and fell off the bone. The martini was $16 and served generously in a shaker at the table."

"Have eaten in the restaurant and gotten takeout from here for over 15 years but never again. My kids are home from college for a long weekend and before they head back we decided to go to Lombardi 's for a family dinner. After apps we ordered dinner. I chose from the daily specials menu the stuffed veal chop. The waiter asked Salad or pasta which that? I chose pasta. What type of pasta and what kind of sauce? I replied rigatoni and vodka. The meal came. It was fine. A little fatty and too much cheese but besides that it was good. When the check came I noticed that the veal was billed at $56. I could have sworn that it was priced $40 something on the menu. I went to double check and sure enough it was listed on the menu at $43. I asked the waiter why I was charged an additional $13 over menu price and he apologized and went to look for the manager. He returned 15 minutes later and handed me the corrected bill. The veal was now only overpriced at $49 this time. I asked to speak to the manager and the waiter asked me to find him at the bar (why the customer goes to the manager and not vice versa is beyond me). I found the manager sitting at the bar eating and watching tv and asked why the corrected bill was still $6 over the menu price. He explained that the menu was wrong and should have said $49. He went on to explain how he hooked me up by not charging me more for upgrading from tomato sauce to vodka sauce. Something that would normally incur a $7 surcharge. He then told me that he would have to instruct the waiter on informing customers that pasta sides don 't get a choice. Charged $13 over menu price. Corrected to only $6 over menu price. Had to go to the manager at the bar to be informed how this was actually taking care of me. Waiter was a nice guy, not his fault. Still got a19% tip. Waiter was great, food wasn 't bad but I 'm done with this place based solely on the managers scam, laziness and attitude."

"The service was outstanding but the food was not as good as usual. The stuffed chicken breast which was me and another dining with me entree was very dry. The cheese that it’s stuffed with barely existed. I’m not sure if I would dine at this location again this is not my first bad experience. I tried it again looking for a better result but they failed again."

"eating was amazing! but our server joseph w. was not warm and friendly at all. very intimidating and not even a smile! he disappeared for a long time, so we ended up with other servers for different things to disturb. joseph made his job, but the mere minimum. he mixed one of the courts I'm sure it's happening all the time, so I'm not upset about it. but he should've notified me that they were out of the special Thanksgiving dessert before I ordered it! when it was time for dessert, I had to choose an alternative because they “suddenly ran out.” the most annoying thing that night, though, was, as the server said, he would not be able to lay us with the bonus “doggy bag” (listed as part of the meal on the website! because “the rest of the staff are reserved”... but strange how the party get next to us! So I asked this nice server on the table next to us the same question I asked our own server and then she actually went out of her to send us home with this little bonus (that my 7-year-old daughter was so worried to receive! I didn't catch the names of this hearty and generous server from the table next to us, but as I wished that the generous tip we had left had gone to her! I would probably recommend odenton location to others, provided that we are simply unhappy with our server. if they are friendly and careful service is important for them then note them joseph w."

"The food at this restaurant was mediocre overall. I would recommend sticking to the sushi and avoiding other items on the menu. I had to send back the ramen dish because it didn't match the description, and the replacement entree I received wasn't much better in terms of appearance and flavor. There was an excessive amount of onions in everything, with dishes either drenched in soy sauce or minimally cooked. While the sushi was good, I wouldn't say it's the best in Charlotte."

"They sat us in the outside tent area without being asked. The ambiance is definitely not the same. I sat in chairs that were several inches too short to eat comfortably, that had dirty stained cushions. I got my appetizer and then meal not two minutes later, similar to cheaper chain restaurants. Definitely was not the fine meal I wanted to treat myself to for New Years. Definitely will go to another restaurant for my next treat."

"The three in our party spent $210 which includes one appetizer, three desserts, and the tip. We only had water to drink. We enjoyed the crispy eggplant morsels in the appetizer (eggplant chaat). Our favorite entree was the artichoke mattar which was delicious. The portion was enough for three to share and be happy. The decolonized poussin was also very good, but really only enough for one or two people, and also the highest priced item at $33. Our other items were mushroom korma, garlic naan, and mushroom kulcha. Each of us had falooda for dessert. It was beautiful and was tasty, but not really worth the $16 price. Everything was very well prepared and the service was excellent."

"I was so pleased to read about the reopening of Rattan, but was, sadly, disappointed with the experience. The lighting is more chain-restaurant bright, the servers were dressed quite sloppily, and were very slow with service even though there were plenty of them on the floor. There was one menu on the table to share between us- we commented on it and the waiter just shrugged and walked away. The price changes really floored us. They didn't just increase, they went crazy-high. We ended up not staying because even the appetizers were overpriced, yet most were unappealing."

"Nicole was very helpful with food and drink selection. She was prompt and so polite. She was very well versed in the menu and had many suggestions to try. The sushi was outstanding. "positiw, our waitress was really nice, eating was very good. con bar service was terrible. it took 15 minutes to get our cocktails, and the explanation was that they run low on the glasses. I've never heard that before. then we ordered a bottle of wine with our escapes. Surprisingly, the glasses came away immediately, but lasted 20 minutes to get the bottle. we were almost done when it finally came."

"As soon as we walked in, we felt a bit out of place in our sweaty, post-hike attire among the other guests who were dressed elegantly. We explained our predicament, hoping to justify our less-than-fresh appearance as we settled in. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, quickly providing us with phone chargers, delicious drinks, and warm bread, checking in on us regularly to ensure we were comfortable. The food was outstanding; we unanimously agreed that it was some of the best gnocchi and cheesecake we had ever tasted. "My boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner. We enjoyed the atmosphere immediately with the live music playing outside. We ordered several drinks from the bar and they were delicious!! I ordered pizza which was by far some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. He had chicken fingers which were plump and sauced just right. Oh, and the garlic knots were out of this world! "Food I am so happy that I found another five-star restaurant. The food was top notch. We had oysters, pop over and fried calamari as starters. The oysters were so fresh that I did not want to stop eating them. The pop over was something we went back and forth if we should order. It looked like a muffin and we were afraid it might be too much. We asked the waiter for advice and he said it is very light. You know what? The top over is a must try. It is almost like a balloon and tastes amazing with some butter on it. The fried calamari didn’t disappoint as well. For main course, we ordered lobster spaghetti and fried chicken. Both of them were very flavourful and the portion was generous. At that point, we were too full to order any desserts. Everything else The service was fabulous. Our waiter was friendly and gave us good advice on the menu. During the dinner, I knocked down my cocktail, and they quickly came over to clean it and gave me a new one. I will definitely go back."

"My hubby and I stumbled on this place in 2015 when we were dating. In 2016, he took me here after he proposed to me. In 2017, before our wedding, he brought all his friends who had traveled down to enjoy dinner before the event. It has been a part of ourmost beautiful memories. The portions are beyond generous, and delectable!!! I?m also gluten-free, and there are so manydelicious options. I also highly suggest the gluten-free garlic bread dipped in the olive oil mix, it?s divine!! They can be alittle cheeky if you show up before they open. Even 5 min before they open. "I can 't say enough about this 'gem ' I found via another app. My daughter was in town, and I wanted a nice place that served healthy food. It met the mark! It is on the 2nd floor with elevator option, there is free validated garage parking behind the establishment. We had a nice booth. Our server, Deena, was very efficient and offered nice suggestions. Nice wine list by glass as well. We started with ahi jicama cones, yum! I ordered the Scot Salmon salad, and my daughter had short ribs with garlic mashed potatoes! All wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant. Great place for business dinners or special occasions as well. There is also valet parking if needed."

"We have been here before and always sat on the deck- most lovely. Tonight we were sat in the basement and it is a basement, with some minimal design. The cheese and artisan meats plate was OK, the olives had no flavor however. The Hummus plate was spot on and well done. Then the came the entrees , lets just say not a great evening, zero for five... the best selection was the tuna nachos, the other four did not get more than 1/4 consumed. the Curries just missed the mark, Carnitas was served cold and atop grease fried masa and the steak lettuce wraps were just not well presented nor enjoyed. We will go back based on other experiences and give this restaurant one more chance- but go when the weather is nice and sit out side. The service was solid as well, the greeting was polite and efficient at the front door."
