"I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, often having my food delivered to my apartment. However, I recently experienced an unfortunate situation. One time, I didn't have any money left for a tip when my food was delivered. The delivery person questioned me about it, saying, "Oh, no tip? No tip?" I explained that I simply had no more cash. In response, he told me that next time I would need to come downstairs to pick up my food; he wouldn't deliver it to my apartment anymore.
I find it unfair to be judged for not having tip money. My order is usually around $17 for just one dish, so it's frustrating that this has now resulted in a change in their delivery policy for me. Just today, I placed another order for $24, and once again, they refused to deliver it to my apartment, insisting I come down to the lobby. Previously, every time I ordered delivery, they would come to my door and ring the bell.
I feel this treatment is unjust and have started to see it as discriminatory. I have been a good, loyal customer, and I don’t believe it’s right to be penalized in this way. If my order meets the required minimum for delivery, why should I be judged and denied service simply because I couldn't afford to tip? This situation is unfair, and I will consider reporting this establishment if it continues. No one should be treated like this."
