"I usually get my food delivered from this place, so I'm not familiar with the atmosphere. However, I can say that the delivery is quick and the food arrives hot and fresh! I appreciate that I can choose the type of meat I prefer (light or dark) and that I can order extra portions of my favorites for a small extra charge. The rice is fresh, and the meat is tender. I typically order General Tso's chicken, ensuring it's not too hot or spicy, along with 10 extra shrimp in my rice for no more than $2. This is by far the best Chinese restaurant I've found since moving to Brooklyn! I'm giving it a 5-star rating because I’m particular about where I eat."

Do not order from them. We waited over two hours for food and they never delivered the food. We called multiple times and they said yea yea they’re on the way. Never ordering from them again.

We placed three orders and enjoyed three delicious meals. While the preparation time is a bit longer than at other local restaurants, the value for money is the best, and the taste is just as fantastic. View menu

Best Chinese takeout in the area—generous portions and incredible flavors. You won't find another Chinese restaurant that serves as much food per dish as New Chang Hong. They are truly a hidden gem—10/10, highly recommend!

I found a really long hair in my vegetable lo mein. Before I noticed it, I actually thought the dish tasted good. The delivery was quick, but I couldn’t finish the meal because of the hair, which was cooked into and tangled around one of the noodles.

When you call lady is very nice on the phone but delivery man i gave him $3 tip through grub hub and he was very rude after giving food. He was waiting for another tip and gave attitude when not given another tip. How much tip are u supposed to give for a $26 order?! He needs to learn manners or stop delivering food. View menu

This is my second time ordering from this restaurant, and it truly offers some of the best Chinese food I've experienced in Brooklyn. Everything tastes incredibly fresh! I tried the Szechuan bean curd, which had a delightful spiciness, along with the Singapore-style rice noodles that were also wonderfully spicy, and a hot and sour soup. I typically evaluate Chinese restaurants based on their hot and sour soup since each version varies so much. I have to say, this is the best I've had in quite a while. Our food arrived very quickly and piping hot. This place has definitely become our new favorite; we absolutely love it!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
