"I ordered from here online it states 11$ for a bento box and after arriving to pick up my order they had charged me 15$. When calling the woman verbally attacked me telling me I looked at the wrong site for the price and should have looked at where you eat. Because the site I seen the price on is a fake site. Lol. The nerve to talk to me as if I am stupid. I didn't know the name of the restaurant was where you eat. The salad was wilted, I recieved less then a half of piece of chicken in one meal and 4 shrimp in another meal. As I am explaining the woman decided to tell me just because it is a Chinese restaurant does mean you get a deal and I could have made pasta for 99 cents at home. Complete rip off. The miso soup looks like dish water with seaweed in it. 50$ worth of food was equivalent to a 6$ children's item in a restaurant."

"I visited this restaurant because my usual spot is closed on Tuesdays. I usually dine in downtown Flushing, so I have high expectations, but this experience was disappointing by any measure. The mapo tofu was inedible since they used leftover spare rib tips for the pork, making the dish overly sweet, and they doused it with an excessive amount of pepper flakes to mask the flavor. The rest of the food, including simple lo mein and chicken with broccoli, was drenched in a thick soy-garlic sauce that was reminiscent of motor oil. The steamed pork dumplings were filled with something that didn’t even seem related to pork—definitely some kind of manufactured meat product. I would recommend avoiding this place unless you're really desperate for a meal."

"Scallion Pancakes were a large portion but they were very overcooked and oily. Crab Rangoon was good. The Yat Gaw Mein soup was a little bland but it still tasted good and I liked that it was not salty. The Mango Chicken was very good, I liked it a lot. I cannot say the same for the Honey Walnut Shrimp, it had too much oily breading and the sauce was watery. The egg rolls were also very oily. I would order the Mango Chicken and soup again, but I dont think I will order any other fried items in the future."

"A mixed bag this time around: Order was correct; delivery was timely and courteous, no problem there; and their Wonton Eggdrop Soup was wonderful as always. However, the other items were not up to Spring Garden's usual excellent standard. The meat in the White Meat General Tso's Chicken was very dry, tough, and skimpy. And while the shrimps in the Shrimp w/ Lobster Sauce were fresh and ample sized, the sauce wasn't what we expected not spoiled or bad, just odd tasting. Maybe we're just used to a different type of Lobster Sauce, or maybe Spring Garden was just having an off day, who knows? In any event they're still on our go to list and we'd definitely be happy to order from them again; we just hope next time they'll be back to their usual five star quality."

"This is a hidden gem! The restaurant is outstanding. Every dish is crafted with skill and attention to detail, using high-quality ingredients without cutting corners. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. I believe the owner should consider shifting away from a takeout vibe and transition to a full-service dining experience. "We have been ordering from this restaurant for many years, at least once every two weeks. However, the quality of the food and service has significantly declined in our last few orders. The woman who answered the phone was unprofessional, lacked people skills and business etiquette. Our last order was completely messed up and when we called to have it corrected, she shifted all the blame to us and refused to make any changes. Due to this experience, we have decided that it will be the last time we order from this restaurant. If they continue to employ such rude staff, they will surely lose a significant amount of business."

"Some of the reviews mention dude service. But, they say the food is really good. After trying this place out, it's one of the best Chinese places I have been to. The food was really good albeit pricier than the place I go in south Philly. The staff is the nicest staff at this caliber of restaurant I ever encountered. Always take people that fry waycism with a grain of salt. I will certainly come here again as this is now my favorite Chinese restaurant. I just wish it were closer to me ?"

"Grateful to have this restaurant open late near me. Happy Garden is super old school American Chinese in their operations and the menu, so don’t except anything too fancy or exotic. I’ve tried almost every category on the menu (appetizers, soups, chicken, beef, shrimp, Ho fun, mi fun, fried stuff), and while I feel it’s not 100% consistent, most of the time they hit the spot. If you’re particular about how something is made, they listen to special requests too. My favorites are fried wings and shrimp dishes, because i can taste the good and fresh ingredients."

"I ordered the General Tso chicken spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all; it was mostly sweet. The lo mein noodles had a flavor that reminded me of dirty water and a mushy texture. The sugar donuts were just average, but they were probably the best dish I had there. The entire restaurant smelled like rotting food. On the positive side, the food was served hot and the portions were generous."
