"I don 't typically write reviews but this place sincerely needs one. If you are considering going out and getting some of that Famous Louisiana Fried Chicken I would reconsider your options, or just stay home and cook. I 've gone to this unfortunate location many of times over the years to see if it had got better. I was wrong. So very wrong. Aside from the disgusting eroding aesthetics of the place, the staff and the food are egregious. Cold, mushy chicken sandwiches, Emotionless attitudes, and Incorrect orders is what I experience as every time. I understand the struggle, I used to work fast food too. Its not easy but the some of the people working here simply don 't care. My latest I ordered a 10pc spicy tender box and was abruptly cut off when the drive thru cashier announced my order total and told me to come to the window. I wasn 't finished ordering but looking back on it now I thank him. I reinstated my order at the window just to be sure it was right and he said yes. I didn 't check the food because I trusted him. I later got home and the familiar feeling of disappointment and sadness accompanied me. I got thighs, wings, and drums. At the end of the day I guess it was my mistake for thinking it was ok to come here. But don 't say I didn 't warn you :"

"Was just here Easter Sunday after Church. I wanted to say even though it was a little busy there were 2 young men working up front who were doing a fantastic job. I watched one of them after he had all of a family’s food on trays then they decided they wanted it packed to go. He did not make a face, or say anything, did it quickly and smiled, then got back to us, his next customer. You only ever hear bad stuff about fast food employees, I wanted to point these young men out but unfortunately, I did not catch their names. This restaurant was well managed on this busy afternoon. "On November 28, 2022, at 4:45 p.m., I went to order a classic chicken sandwich. However, when I reached the window, the lady informed me that they didn't have any chicken sandwiches available. I overheard them discussing something, and then she returned to say that she had two tenders ready if I still wanted the sandwich, claiming that was how it was served. I explained that that's not accurate, as a classic chicken sandwich consists of one piece of meat, not two tenders. She insisted they were trying to improvise. I understand that, but I don't appreciate being told that this is how it typically comes after receiving incorrect information. The lady was hurried and seemed to be rushing through the order. I wouldn’t be surprised if they actually had the chicken sandwiches but simply didn’t want to prepare them."

"This is the worst Popeyes on earth! They had 10 employees and all of them where worthless! They had the line wrapped around the building. I sat in line from 9:26pm to 10:00pm waiting for a customer door dash only to get to the window and they tell me they don’t have the order somebody else picked up. They were all lying! I called the customer to verify if he received his order. It was time to close and they didn’t want to fulfill the order. Another girl said we don’t have any nuggets made anyway. Just ghetto and very poor customer service! If I could give 0 stars I would."

"This Popeyes location is by far the best I've ever visited. During our year-long travels across the U.S., we stopped at various Popeyes in different states, and while most were decent, this one truly stood out in every way. The food was fresh and served hot. The staff appeared busy yet happy, dressed neatly, and were incredibly friendly. We made a point to speak with the manager to compliment him on the fantastic job he and his team are doing. The only downside is that this location is in a different state. I really wish it were in my town! We do have another Popeyes about 20 miles away, but it’s nothing like this excellent location."

"First and foremost they are taking Covid precautions seriously, at least via drive through. I haven't gone inside so I can't speak on that. There are no hand to hand interactions. You put your debit card in a cup, and your food and drinks are handed out to you via tray. The staff is wearing masks and gloves. As someone who is high risk at the moment I can appreciate all of this. The times I've come my food has been hot and my order correct. I mean what more can you ask for? I haven't tried the chicken sandwich yet, but I did try their Cajun flounder fish sandwich... and let me tell you something... DELICIOUS. Sometimes they can be a little stingy with the sauces but I just ask for more. Here's an insiders tip, put hot sauce in your red beans, honey on your biscuit and get extra tarter sauce for your fish sandwich or sweet heat sauce for your chicken. Love that chicken at Popeyes!"

"I ordered an eight-piece family dinner along with a five-piece chicken strip dinner, two cheesecakes, and added potatoes. I also requested three extra servings of grilled butter and honey, but I didn't receive the grill, honey, or butter for the cookies. The chicken was not hot, and the cookies were as hard as rocks. "This review is for the girl working at the counter. First time ordering at this location and sadly this is also the most horrible experience I've ever had to deal with when it comes to this fried chicken franchise. The girl asked me if I was here to pick up or order, and was FULLY AWARE I am here to make an order. Only two other people were standing at that time, and they were standing far back. These two kind people still did let me know they were just waiting and gestured for me to go forward. I DID say clearly and nicely to the server that I am here to order when she asked me if I was here to pick up. However, she had the audacity to move over to the next register right away and immediately took the order of someone else now that a few people just entered the store at this point. Are you kidding me? Right after I told you I haven't ordered my food? Unbelievable service. Unbelievably ignorant and disrespectful worker at the front. You are supposed to be going in order, especially when customers already informed you they still have yet to make an order. To the manager and supervisor, whoever needs training you need to provide them more. This huge lack of priority and sense of awareness shown in the disinterested faces at the front who are supposed to be welcoming, fair, and hospital, is abhorrent and sad."

"1st of all— I come to this location frequently because the food was usually always fresh mainly the customer service is always excellent. Not last night. The lady— SHIVANI working the window HAD THE NASTIEST ATTITUDE. They have a 3 for $5 deal. Went to order she says no it’s only thru the appok fine. No big deal. I asked her was a I able to grab it from the drive thru or come inside? She act like she didn’t know what I was saying. Anyhow—I placed my order pull to the window— I explained that it wouldn’t let me select my pieces she tells me the pieces are already set leg, wing thigh). I let her know I don’t eat thighsshe says ok would you like a breast. I say yes please. She comes back to window stating I couldn’t bc it’s more expensive..mind you it was only $1 upcharge. And it doesn’t even reflect that on the receipt) When she could have just led with that instead of telling me what I can’t do? It’s ONE dollar? I say ok then can you just cancel it I’ll order just a regular combo where I can pick my own pieces. She gets rude asf, telling me again what I can can’t do? At this point I’m irritated cause why are you trying to give me a hard time about some damn chicken???? So I told her ok I’ll just cancel it thru the app then she goes or we can just charge you an extra $1 for the breast. Again YOU COULD HAVE LED WITH THAT INSTEAD OF MAKING IT A BIG DEAL? She proceeds to gaslight meI let her know she was being a bit rude. I asked for a manager cause at that point idc to deal with her. She starts getting loud telling me there is no manager there... mind you it was only 8pm. So I start getting loud. I asked her if she was new cause I never seen her at all before she says no she’s been there just never seem working the front or drive thru which makes sense cause her customer service is terrible) I was actually baffled with this experience because I’ve NEVERRRR had a terrible experience like that with this location. Everyone is usually pleasant accommodating. Will be up there today. They need to keep her ass in the back if she’s willing to argue with customers about chicken???? Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Ordered pulled up to pay, was told it'd be about 10 minutes for the chicken. Whatever, I already paid. So I waited and waited.. about 20 mins later out walks a lady to hand me my order, no apologies for making me wait or no thanks for the business. Get home to dish out the food 3/4 of the bucket was itty bitty pieces of chicken. For the price we paid for that family bucket meal, I was a little upset! It is definitely not worth what it costs we won't be ordering from there again."

"This time we ordered Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen by DoorDash. This time it was actually good, apart from the feeling of being dehydrated, what I think is a norm for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. We ordered a 20 PC mixed with 4 pages and 10 cookies. The mixed chicken was pretty good and hot, although the travel time was about 25 minutes. The cookies taste like those from Louisiana. The frits were a bit cold and dry — the cold is not Popeye's fault, but the dryness, possibly. The potatoes of the mash had a lot of severity, which is not preferred here, but if you prefer it, you should get it. The Coleslaw was quite good first until you are at the bottom of the cup and there is a lot of liquid. Last but not least the macaroni and cheese. It did not look so appetizing – there were a lot of cheese, and it seemed like it was left on the pan for a while. Overall, I would probably order from this place again, just because I wasn't lucky elsewhere. It would be rare."

"The KFC in Cedar City puts out the worst chicken meal on the planet The chicken was cold and tougher than nails. It must have been fried a week ago. The potatoes were runny, the gravy weak and watered down,. The coleslaw was more liquid than coleslaw. And to top it off, the rolls were as hard as baseballs. How they can pass that off as food is beyond me!!! It was a $37 mistake that I won't make again!!! When family or friends ask me where to get a chicken meal, it won't be KFC for sure!!!!! "I am 32 and I can say NEVER in my life have I gotten large sides from ANY Popeyes location and they were not full to the top. 1st time at the Lucedale location. My dirty rice was half full and my Mashed potatoes was maybe 3/4 full. As a pregnant woman, I was furious to see i was missing half my food! My husband asked for no pickles on his sandwich but they felt he needed them anyway and his side was wrong. After pulling foward and waiting about 10 mins or so, you'd think maybe they would've had things right and made sure our sides were full. Gave 3 stars since it tasted good. I wish I could post pics. "I ordered my food online for pickup, and it was exactly what I had requested. However, when I arrived, the lobby door was locked. "We ordered an 8-piece dinner with fries and red beans and rice. Since the drive-thru line was so long, I decided to go inside to place my order. After ordering, I asked the staff to set my bag aside. However, after waiting for 20 minutes, they mistakenly handed my order to another customer who was complaining about the delay. He left for about five minutes, then returned to say it was the wrong order. The staff finally acknowledged that it belonged to us, but it took another 20 minutes to finish our order. In total, I spent 50 minutes just for a chicken dinner. While I used to think it was worth it, I won’t be returning. Popeyes has good food, but it's simply not worth the hassle."
