"At first, the restaurant may be easily overlooked, but I was warmly greeted and offered complimentary Jasmine tea at just the right temperature. The veggie egg roll I ordered was incredibly crispy and came with a delicious sauce. The sesame tofu exceeded my expectations in terms of texture and the sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness. The atmosphere was welcoming and I look forward to returning for takeout."

"Ordered food yesterday for me, my children, and niece. My Niece has an allergy to Gluten so I ordered her steamed chicken and mixed vegetables. First, the order was screwed up. I was given chicken with broccoli. they rectified it rather quickly (why the one star) but then after we were essentially almost done with our meal, there was a nasty and large cockroach in the chicken and mixed vegetables. It was nasty. I immediately contacted the restaurant, told them to pick up the food, and demanded back. The guy came back, took the food, but was only willing to reimburse us for the chicken and broccoli. So not only do they give us a dish with a cockroach (which means that the place is infested), but they refuse to reimburse us. Never, ever going back there. Recommend no one else does as well. Will be reporting them to the NYC DOH and will dispute the charge on my card."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago, and I have to say, it's quickly become my new favorite spot for Chinese food. The Bourbon chicken was absolutely fantastic! We also tried the spring rolls and lo mein, both of which were delicious. Everyone in my household enjoyed their meals immensely. We’ve definitely found a new go-to, leaving Dragon City behind!"

"This place has been a hidden gem for years and a tradition when returning from Scarborough Ren Faire. Places don't become tradition unless they are the best and this place is. The food never fails to satisfy or fill you up. There's usually leftovers and if there aren't that just means you leave hurting. Don't get me wrong, the food and service is great but the place isn't very big for dine in. We've either been lucky or just the majority of their business is takeout. Either way you can't go wrong with Wong."

"My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a place to eat, and I'm really glad we did. At first, I was a bit concerned since it was just us and six other diners there, but it was a Tuesday evening, so I understood the quiet atmosphere. I ended up being very impressed! I ordered the beef and string beans combination with pork fried rice, and I can honestly say it was the best pork fried rice and beef and string beans I've had in a long time! They gave us generous portions, and I was able to take the leftovers for lunch the next day—still tasting fresh! This place isn't upscale and they don't serve alcohol, but if you're in the mood for some traditional NYC Chinese food, this is the spot for you. I will definitely be returning soon!"

"Terrible customer service topped with ugly attitude we placed an order for a Cedar Hill Roll and an order of shrimp fried rice got home and had no shrimp fried rice we only had the Cedar Hill roll and egg rolls. Called the establishment and the attitude having female said the egg rolls was for the fried rice and we reiterated that WE DID NOT RECEIVE the shrimp fried rice that was paid for, she said then you can bring back the egg rolls and collect the rice.Took the egg rolls back and the rice was handed over with more attitude. THEY messed up the order and had big attitude because correction was requested.Please be accountable for your errors and correct them with smiling CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!"

"Decided to try something here and it was of good quality, the food was freshly made, good portions, standard price, the people there are kind, although it might take a bit for your order to be ready depending on how busy it is. I didn't mind the waitbecause this seems to be a small family run establishment. I definitely recommend trying something off their more traditionalChinese inspired menu instead of the run of the mill American Chinese stuff. "I would normally give this place 5 stars but the only reason I’m giving it 3 is because one of the servers. She’s the older lady with short pixie hair… she’s VERY rude to us every time we come in. I have a 16 month and of course he’s going to make a mess. He drops something she’s huff and puff, or if she sees a few things he’s dropped she’ll mumble under her breath. She also never gives us refills and pretty much ignores us the whole time. We used to go in every Friday before the pandemic hit. As soon as it reopened we got this lady A LOT, the other lady that worked there doesn’t anymore but she was so nice to us. I miss her and I hope she’s doing well. But since most of the time we get this lady, it makes our time much less enjoyable. We hate coming her anymore because we hate getting her. We sit by the back where sushi is cause that’s usually mostly what we eat, and Friday we went and sat back there, and another couple with a child that was only a few months younger than my son. She was so friendly towards them actually talked to them and checked up on them, gave them refills. All while she ignored us or like I said, huff and puff anytime my son would drop a piece of corn or whatever. It just seems like this place had went downhill since the pandemic sadly. We barely go once a month if that anymore. Food selection is also not as good and the sushi isn’t as flavorful as it used to be.. we would spend over $100 a month here… now it’s not even worth going in once a month really, with the service we get especially."
