"We arrived early at 5 PM, and it was obvious they were eager to turn over tables. We were seated, had drinks and bread, mistakenly received another table's salads, ordered starters, a main course, and dessert—all within about 30 minutes. They even asked if they could clear our table while we still had our salads and appetizers so they could serve our main dishes. One of those dishes barely seemed warm. By that point, I was already frustrated, especially since their bland Caesar salad tasted like they had forgotten the dressing.
The pizza was a letdown—bland, tasteless, and utterly forgettable. The braised pork tagliatelle resembled chilly, watery mushroom soup with noodles, although the pork itself was hot and flavorful. The $28 braised short rib lasagna (which should definitely be priced half that) was lackluster, dry, and devoid of any gooey cheese goodness typical of lasagna. It tasted as if it had been made the day before and reheated multiple times.
To top it all off, there was a non-optional 2% "Kitchen Appreciation" fee hidden on the bill. Clearly, they didn't care that I didn't appreciate the kitchen. By the end of the evening, it felt more like a scam than a relaxing dinner experience.
And yet, the place is always packed... so who knows?"
