"We 're regular customers at Sushi Kushi San3 for a reason! All the food is fantastic consistent each time we go, and the staff is knowledgeable prompt. Presentation of the meals is also very nice and Insta worthy. They care about the small details and it shows. If ordering take out, the containers are prepared very carefully with Scotch tape holding items in place that usually fly around in the car (like soy sauce). We take friends and family here all the time! Don 't hesitate to do the same! Note: We usually try to go during less-popular hours to avoid the crowd."

"delicious food and great service!! our party of 4 came around opening time and we were lucky to be seated at the bar. the restaurant was busy the entirety of our meal, so i would definitely recommend making a reservation. we ordered a spicy mongoose roll, unagi cucumber roll, and shiono boat deluxe (sashimi, hawaiian volcano roll, shrimp/soft shell crab tempura, chicken/beef teriyaki). we enjoyed everything we ordered and the portion of food was perfect for 4 people. our favorites were the hawaiian volcano roll, which was unique and flavorful, and the beef teriyaki which was cooked perfectly. overall i would definitely recommend this restaurant when on the big island!!"

"I don’t know if people just not used to good Japanese food here or what but no that’s not it.. the best thing was my water and that was filtered‍ the shrimp tempura had shells all through it and weren’t clean. Weren’t all that tasty either, the sushi was probably the worse I ever had big thick pieces no ginger or wasabi I think it came with a sauce but idk what that was and they didn’t explain it. Luckily I grabbed a kids meal teriyaki chicken I saved a couple dollars rice was good and sticky chicken was mediocre and placed in aluminum foil and drenched in soy sauce.. I just thought about it though I could’ve took the foil out laid the rice and applied as much sauce as needed but I was turnt off by the meal in itself, would never go back! The mochi ice cream was cool."

"This was our first time at Hana and we loved our experience! This restaurant is unassuming being in a strip mall in Rohnert Park, but it's definitely a 5 star restaurant you could find in San Francisco or Healdsburg. They had rare specialties I've only had in Japan. The sake section is incredible and everything we tasted was prepared perfectly and elegantly. The blue fin tuna belly and Wagu steak were stand outs expensive but worth the delicious experience. Staff was also very attentive, knowledgeable and experienced. We can't wait to go back."

"Delicious, good portions and value for money $8.50 for the dons . Tempura included the delightful surprise of a shishito pepper a rare spicy one at that! which is not often found elsewhere. It is proper well executed tempura. Pork katsu was also very commendable for the moist thick cut. At lesser eateries katsus can be hard and rubbery. We were glad for the one set of chairs and table set up outside for us to scarf our food down before it got cold. Maximum social distancing with no one else being able to eat alongside, if you're lucky. Note that there's 4% card service charge so pay cash instead."

"I am sorry for the bad review but we did had the worst service and foods. Don't order the shrimp spicy soup. The crab ragoon was not even fried right. The spicy shrimp noodles and came with one shrimp.Waitress didn't fill drinks. One waitress for the whole restaurant. Worst waitress and service. We talk to her and she doesn't even talk when we ask something.we never had napkins and no refills on water. When we ask she seems bother by it. We never coming back!!! They serve small portion. "We stopped by for lunch, they have a fairly small interior so make a reservation if you don 't want to wait. It took a while for us to be seated as their staff was busy helping the seated customers. However, after being seating, it was quick to order and receive our dishes. We got two set entrees, and then some skewers. All the skewers were tasty, but the chicken was definitely the best one. The pork belly wasn 't quite fatty enough and the steak was tasty but not particularly special as a skewer. The chicken was juicy and tender and really the star of their skewers, so I 'd definitely recommend that. The set is closer to $20 per but contained a salad, miso soup and 2 small side dishes, plus white rice. It was a good portion size, but not necessarily the cheapest lunch set you could get. That said, no complaints about the food, the meat was breaded well and I enjoyed the tonkatsu and skewers. Parking can be a bit trickier as there 's public parking lots but they tend to be full so you may need to drive around a bit or park a bit further into the residential areas. Note their entrance is facing the parking lot (not the street side ."

"We visited on a busy Sunday night with a reservation, and it took some time for the waitress to lead us to our table. Parking can be a challenge since it’s street parking along El Camino Real, and the service was a bit slow, but the sushi definitely made it worthwhile. I highly recommend the omakase! For $42, you get ten generous pieces of nigiri. The fish was very fresh and delicious, and I loved how they were significantly larger than the rice. Their popular sushi rolls were also excellent; we tried the Melts-in-Your-Mouth and Romeo Juliet rolls. The sauces and combinations of ingredients were spot on. The tempura was also impressive—lightly battered and perfectly crispy. As a lovely surprise, they treated us to complimentary ice cream as a sweet ending to our meal. My only slight disappointment with the food was that the grilled squid was served lukewarm. It was still tender, but it would have tasted much better if it had been served fresh and hot."

"I have been to Kakui many times for dinner and always enjoy it. I had never been for lunch and took my friend who had never been to lunch to celebrate her birthday. It was perfect! The bento box lunches were delicious and fresh and allowed a lot of choice. Our server, Lucas, was the best server I've ever had at Kakui. He was friendly, helpful, a good listener and added a lot to the enjoyment of our lunch. I had mentioned it was my friend's birthday and Lucas brought us a complimentary mango ice cream dessert with a candle on the plate which capped off a perfect birthday lunch. Thank you Lucas! We'll definitely be back for lunch!"

"Umaido just cannot get it right. Sometimes great, often terrible. As of NOV 2023.... Terrible Greasy fatty broth. Diarrhea city. Don't they know that they need to skim the fat off the broth after it's simmered all night? Sure they do... but why throw away the fat when you can charge your customers for it? They've lost me again. It will likely be another year before I give them another chance. There's just too many restaurants in the area who care about the quality of the food."

"Syun Izakaya is one of the two sushi places we frequent (the other one being their sister restaurant in Forest Grove), no other place in the area measures out to them. The sushi, and many of the dishes on the menu are outstanding and deliciously prepared.Recently we tried their Hawaiian fish crudo, is on the appetizer section, and oh my goodness! Was that a plate to get secondsof? Ummm? yes! We ordered a second one, their specialty sushi rolls are my favorite, and the tuna tar tar along with their tunasalad are a hit too. The Kakuni and the Japanese pickled veggies are two other favorites. My only regret is to have discoveredthis local gem only a few years ago, I was missing out!"

"I checked the menu on their website but decided to order takeout over the phone. When I went to pick up my order, I noticed that the prices were different from what I had seen online. During the call, they asked if I wanted the Korean menu, and I confirmed that I did. However, I later discovered that there is a separate Korean menu not available for online orders. They explained that some items are prepared differently and that the portion sizes are doubled, but unfortunately, so are the prices. As for the food, it was just average."
