"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with Baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"Truly fine food served in a very professional manner at an historic setting. A walk through the grounds and seeing the historical pictures are a must. When we entered the Garden Patio there was a smoke from a decorative fire that was taken care of when we commented as we were seated. The food served was perfectly created and each of four different requests were thoroughly enjoyed."

"The service was great. I was shocked that actually Lamb chops were not on the menu. I did not like that it was so dark. I could barely read the menu. I also didn't like that everything was a la carte. They did have chops, on menu of the night. They were pretty good. Def worth the $55. And the sides were good. I had mac, Brussels mash. All good. We also had a chocolate soufle. It was soo silky smooth. Definitely worth saving space. I did like the flowers outside I also recommend a reservation b/c they seem to be pretty popular. Dinner for 3 was $350."

"Absolutely incredible food very kind staff. Flora took incredible care of us. Came here twice in one weekend after we were in town for Small Press Expo, and when we're back in the area, we 100% will come back. Tried both the sushi burrito the poke bowland both were top notch quality for a really good price. The restaurant itself is very pleasant (tons of natural light if youcome during the day) the tables are spaced out nicely so we felt confident and safe eating here."

"We dined at wine cellar at Harry Browne’s. You’re almost 100% guaranteed to get lost finding your way to cellar. You can be annoyed by that or find it to be yet another adventure as I did (even after being directed by the host at the front).Good wine selection (if you want a cocktail, you have to ask for that…you’re in a wine cellar).The staff was lovely, the food was decent (the crab dip was great!)Downside, the cellar is unsurprisingly an internet dead zone. "I really enjoy this restaurant! It's a great tip to ask about the size of the appetizers, as the first time will not be enough (you'll want to go back again). They have cozy spots for just two people, or if you prefer, there's seating at the bar. There is also plenty of space for couples or larger family groups. "I recently visited Liberatore's after a long time, attending a family event where we enjoyed the buffet. We tried the salad, bruschetta, fried ravioli, penne pasta, and chicken masala. Despite being very hungry from not eating all day, I found the food to be disappointingly bland, with the chicken masala having an overwhelming amount of sauce. The cannolis for dessert were delicious, especially when paired with a cappuccino. Our server was exceptional, as she was attentive and quick to bring our drinks while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. She consistently checked in on us to see if we needed anything and efficiently cleared our plates when we finished eating. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, located on two stories with surprising availability during dinner on a Sunday."

"We were seated in the bar area again and while that was ok the service was disappointing. The bartender server was very pleasant and personable but unable to serve the entire bar area and the other servers effectively. Specifically, we waited a long time for refills of our chips (with trio dips). I also had to ask for water refill for my son twice before it was finally done. The food, atmosphere and pleasant personality of our server were great but I am not into inattentive service. Hope it’s staffed properly next time."

"Waiting to be seated took a long time, even after I mentioned to the hostess that I had joined the waitlist. Once we finally got to our table, we had to wait another 10 minutes for a server to come over. When she did, her approach was quite abrupt—she jumped right in with “What do you want?” instead of offering any sort of greeting. However, once we placed our orders, things improved. The food arrived promptly, but the chicken fajitas lacked flavor. On the bright side, the elotes were fantastic!"

"Always good food with a nice presentation. We ate outside on a cozy early summer evening. We started by ordering mussels (not as spicy as shown and very good) and the spinach salad with fried oysters - all excellent. The main courses of pork chop and duck were well prepared. The chard with tiny pieces of bacon with the duck was a nice change. The cherry compote was a bit overwhelming. Tried the Bonarda red wine (usually matured in stainless steel so that it lacked the soft, fruity taste), but returned to a reliable Malbec. Had a server in training that did a good job; Her mentor didn't smile much, which was disappointing. Overall, a pleasant meal."

"My fiancé and I decided to check out this restaurant's Sunday happy hour one afternoon. They had a variety of specials on both food and drinks. The dishes were all made with high-quality ingredients and tasted delicious. The only downside was that the portions were a bit small for the price, but that seems to be common for the area. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend stopping by, especially during happy hour."

"Our previous go to used to be sioux city however they have gone down hill due to customer service and quality. Tonight I really wanted steak and suggested flamestone. The service was excellent. I ordered my steak medium and it was a little brown but still very tender and good. The server saw it and immediately tried to correct this for me. I told her it was no problem. Within two minutes the manager came over wanting to do something for us to make it right. No matter how much I let him know that it was no problem he still was very apologetic. Before I finished my meal a whole new meal cooked to perfection was placed in front of me to take to go. They acknowledged us and made sure we had an excellent experience. I highly recommend this establishment."

"want to begin by saying that my favorite restaurant is quite a lot. I don't think I've ever been disappointed! the reason why I leave a 4-star rating instead of 5 is because I went on Wednesday night and ordered the surf n’ turf. everything was great except my steak sad. I'm not one who sends food back to the kitchen, and our server was great not to mention it because it's not as if it's the one who made the steak. I ordered the sirloin medium, well, here is my photo of what it was. Maybe the kitchen staff was overwhelmed, but it was waaay over cooked. I usually come here only to the weekends, so I am not sure whether it is different personal or what, but mistakes happen. I'm hesitant to get the steak next time, although a medium well steak is quite unusable for me. but hey, my dog enjoyed it! we also ordered a beer and weeping and did not receive them until our escaped came, but if the bar was busy, that is understandable. unnecessarily say, still love grace, but will probably order something else next time."

"Overall, our dinner was wonderful and a fantastic way to celebrate our anniversary. We did have a couple of minor issues though. We had made a reservation online through the website and specified that it was for our anniversary, and even reminded our waitress about the email discount we had received for the occasion. Unfortunately, the discount was not applied to our bill. Additionally, we asked about purchasing the coffee we had with our dessert, but the waitress never followed up on our request. While the food was exceptional, we expected better attention to detail and customer service, especially considering the high prices at Terrapin. The waitress was great during our meal, but it was the small things that were missed that left us slightly disappointed."

"We went for my Birthday dinner. We made reservations and disappointed that they sat us by the patio door. A little chilly when the door opened/closed. Manager and hostess gave us nice lip service will do what we can about moving you (although their facial expressions didn't looked like they cared). I rated the restaurant as outstanding because of our server--Sharon. She made up for the disappointment, she was personable and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. What began as a disappointment--ended in a nice birthday celebration. Thank you Sharon for being there!"

"I haven't been to Jerry's in a long time, so I was very excited for a delicious delicatessen experience. We went between lunch and dinner, so the parking in the back of the building was convenient. The restaurant was not very busy, which was unusual for a deli. The waiter promptly took our drink orders for iced tea, which was well-brewed and not bitter. We were served delicious pickles and bagel chips while we waited. The pickles were perfect - crispy and not too salty. I am quite picky about my pickles! The waiter took our orders and our food arrived quickly. I ordered the pastrami sandwich with coleslaw. The bread was dry and disappointing, lacking the crisp crust and soft center I expected. The coleslaw was good - sweet and juicy, which I enjoyed. The pastrami was good, but for the price of $19+, I was hoping for something more exciting and generous. My husband ordered a whole brisket sandwich with applesauce, but was initially only served half a sandwich with coleslaw and potato salad. After we pointed out the mistake, they brought the other half of the sandwich and the applesauce. He said the sandwich was okay. Our friends had the half pastrami sandwich and sweet and sour soup, which they loved. The cup of soup was quite large, more like a bowl. I wish I had ordered the matzo ball soup. Overall, it was an okay experience - not bad, but nothing special."

"Our meals tonight were as delicious as every other time. Carefully prepared and presented. We dining tonight with a party of an were attentively cared for and when our server realized one of the people in our party was waiting for their sushi after other meals had been served, he quickly brought her a soup on the house so she wasn't the only one waiting while we dug into our individually and deliciously prepared meals. I would recommend this place for everything from a last minute night out to a planned event. We will definitely be back sooner than later!"

"This is a fantastic spot to enjoy drinks with friends or family. They offer both indoor and outdoor bar areas, complete with a lovely view of the river. During my visit, there was a live band, and although it attracted a good crowd, there was still plenty of space to move around comfortably. If you're interested in taking something home, they also have a separate building featuring a wide selection of packaged drinks. I highly recommend visiting on a nice day or evening to fully appreciate the atmosphere and have a great night out. I will definitely return the next time I get the chance, as it’s a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy a drink."
