"This review is hard for me to write, because I will always have a soft spot for Red's in my heart. It's where I met my husband! I am giving it two stars still because they have two stars who work there: Phil, the bartender/fireman, and May, who is a manager/server. They both exude what customer service should be, and are thoughtful, kind, generous and hospitable. I hope that Sir Corp (the owners of Red's reads the reviews online and takes them seriously; and if they take anything away from my updated review, it's that these two people need to be praised. I am a regular of this Red's, as it's very close to where I live. I have brought SO many people here over the years, and we always get the same thing a Belvedere martini, extra dirty (that means olive y! . This drink was always in the $13 14 range, which seems like market price for a 2 oz drink. I went there a few weeks back with two friends, and we had THREE rounds of these martinis. The server didn't say a thing at all, but when the bill came, we saw that we were charged $19/martini so $60 per person for drinks, which is the same as a good bottle of wine at Red's! We paid our bill and I asked to speak to a manager, not because I wanted anything for free, but because I wanted them to know in the future to give people a heads up that they are ordering $19 drinks, especially since the other drinks on the menu are all 2 oz and $13 (roughly . The bar manager came over (gentleman with the reddish hair and he was so rude that it was embarrassing. I contacted them for a follow up, because I was so disappointed, and the general manager invited us back in for a round on him. What really made me sad is that they still didn't take this opportunity to make amends/quality control. He touched the table once, at the beginning, but never followed up again to see how everything was and ensure that we were having a good time. While Ray, the server, is someone who is outgoing, he is also a bad server...we asked for our bills twenty minutes after actually wanting them, from someone else passing by, and then had to still sit for 15 minutes until again, someone else was the first person we could flag over. The food we had was measly for the price point $10 for about ten sweet potato fries. I am wondering if the price inflation could be because they are losing money, and if they are, it's probably easier to just fix the service and attitude issues that seem to be going around. Will I be to Red's? Probably. Will I recommend it like I used to? Definitely not. Will I have rounds and rounds of drinks? No, I am not made of money. Good meeting place for the area, but drink and eat elsewhere I guess."

"We made reservations for 11:00 am on a Sunday. We knew there was a brunch buffet on Sundays so we called ahead to ask if we had the option to order off the breakfast menu instead. We were told yes. We arrived af 10:55, were seated and then asked at approx 11:10 for our order. We were then told the breakfast menu was over and the lunch menu was not available until noon. We were told however that the brunch buffet was available. No one at our table wanted the $16 buffet. We voiced our displeasure at this and the manager was summoned. He apologized and after checking told us the best they could do was have the lunch menu avail in about 20 minutes. We had two infants with us and were on a time crunch. It would have been nice if we were told the situation when we called ahead. The other option would have been that our waitress could have told us when we sat down that the breakfast was ending in a couple minutes and maybe got the order in quickly. When the only option was the buffet we even asked if we could “split” the buffet. There were 4 adults, and none of us were interested in a large amount of buffet food. We asked to split it so we could just get two buffets but of course we’re told no. I felt we were basically forced to get the buffet. We were all very unhappy about having to spend $64 plus drinks/tip on breakfast for four. I will not recommend this restaurant anymore to friends or family."

"I made a reservation online but had trouble finding parking. I got there seven minutes past my reservation time which coincidentally was also their time for opening. However, when i got there, the place seemed to be closed. No open doors or sign to let us know to come in. As I was about to walk away to a different place, an employee came out singing and dancing, apparently unaware of the fact they were opening up a tad late. Sure enough, the music inside was loud af. Kind of hard to carry a conversation with so much noise around you. While i understand and celebrate that the employees feel comfortable enough to get along very well with themselves, the noise of their chit chatting and music is overwhelming. Feels like a mismatch between the restaurant's projected image and achieved ambience. The food could've been great, but the meat for the torta ahogada was very salty. But really, what made me write this review was cleanliness. Expect none. The floor on the outside area looked decidedly unswept. Makes me wonder if they even wipe down those tables. Then i looked at the floor around me and, sure enough, i found many stains that would normally happen on any given day. But i had just gotten there, at the time they opened. If by the time a restaurant opens to the public their floors and tables aren't clean, I can only assume their cleaning patterns to be poor. All in all, this is an ok place that can do so much better. The attention and service is good, food could be less salty and ambiance could be redesigned. But the formality of opening up on time and having pristine clean spaces is vital. Personally, I'd choose a different place next time."
