"The service and experience is what drove up the rating, but if I was strictly rating the food, it would be 0 stars. Ordered several breakfast plates and the bacon was burnt and bitter. The hasbrowns were soggy. The omelet was OK. We also ordered dinner plates to go. My family cooks a lot of short ribs, so we thought we should give their Braised short rib a try. It was definitely not short rib, rather chick roast. The meat was very dry and lacked any flavor. The meatloaf was also very tough. The best part about dinner were the vegetable medley. Our family would not be coming back."

"Pizza Man bakes a great pie! The dough is the perfect combination of chewy and crispy. Toppings are generous and evenly placed.The customer service was a bit off. We chose the curbside option for pick up, but the owner/manager ? insisted we come inside to pick it up. It was not a huge deal, but there was a line inside unfortunately, there wasn't a separate spot for pick up , which meant the pizza was no longer hot by the time it was in hand.That said, Pizza Man is high on the list of places to have a top notch pizza."

"Here's the tea... There was a morning before work where I actually worked: and after work I wanted only a breakfast Burrito. I make delicious breakfast Burritos, but recently traders joe's has not been able to restock their hashbrowns #hashbrowncrisis. So I decided to try a local breakfast Burrito that I heard Everest is great and it's close to me, so I gave it a try. The place was busy ladies who enjoy breakfast together, a couple of father and son groups, various traders on the way to and from work as well as some families. The mixture of people fascated me and felt like a sign that this place offers many different flavors. I also took a lot of orders. Very promising. Then I saw something I didn't see before a pastrami breakfast Burrito. I never thought about this combination in my life, I couldn't expect it. Then I found out you can add bacon. A BACON PASTRAMI BREAKFAST BURRITO. That my Yelp community must try 5/5, I can't expect to get up in the morning and have another. By the way, breakfast Burritos is served all day. There's a reason this place is still with one in n out just a few blocks away. 5/5 Run. PASTRAMI. BREAKFAST. BURRITO. with extra sharp salsa"

"We used to come to Afternoon Delight literally every day before the pandemic it is one of our favorite restaurants in Ann Arbor! It has been a while since we last visited, so we decided to come back again today. We found the food to be delicious asalways, top quality and the portions truly generous. The owner, Mrs Williams, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Mywife really loves the Smoked Nova Salmon Eggs Benedict during the weekday it is served with english muffin, but on the weekendit is specially accompanied by their signature potato pancake. The addition of capers perfectly complements the creamy bearnaisesauce, making it refreshing and well balanced. As shown in our photographs, the poached eggs appear even with running yolks magnificent : . The Avocado Toast AD style is composed of whole wheat bread, light, moist and creamy. I normally order a largetossed salad, which includes one of Afternoon Delight's famous muffins, which in my opinion are the BEST in Ann Arbor! We willdefinitely go back again soon. Update 04/20/2022: We came back again today for the ginormous and marvelous Split Personalityfrozen yoghurt, which comes with a lot of fresh fruit and banana. We also ordered a delicious Albacore Tuna Sandwich withchallah bread (which came with a side of our favorite potato salad and a signature muffin (this time, cherry flavored . Ourserver, Amanda, was friendly and attentive, and Mrs Williams made us feel welcome. Update 04/27/2022: Today we ordered theRueben and the Atlantic Smoked Salmon sandwich (with croissant instead of pumpernickel bread , both of which were flavorful andscrumptious. I particularly appreciated that the Rueben was less greasy than other establishments. The combination of olives andcapers in the salmon sandwich also worked perfectly together. Update 04/28/2022: We ordered the Mediterranean Omelette, whichcame with a peanut butter and chocolate muffin, and three eggs with four sausage links and hash brown,"

"We Love Old River Grill. I love the food and the people. I have a few favorite dishes. The 50/50 burger is amazing. The Chili Verde Omelet is outstanding. I haven't had anything on the menu that I don't like, but I have to say that the Cajun Shrimp, and the Cajun Lobster Omelet are my personal favorite. "I ordered the beef ortega sandwich and it didn't have any chilies on it so that was kind of disappointing, but it was still delicious. My **** Mary was a little bland, but still good, and they went all out with the garnishes. The side of fresh fruit was very good too. My fiance loved his pancakes and his Western burger. Servers were very friendly and attentive. They have lots of outdoor seating and they allow dogs. The menu is big and the prices are reasonable."

"This is a beautiful cafe, nestled in a quiet and pretty area of Glendale; however, if you're nearby, it's worth not only going for the food. Yes, there are delicious meals, and food type treats, but it is for the omnivores. The breads are fantastic, and the side winders are excellent (like big crispy corkscrews), but otherwise it is overpriced for what you get. After making my order wrong (a rather sober bite in sausage and bacon), they were really nice and apologetic and got my vegan burrito out quickly what I appreciated. Unfortunately, while there is the Tofu Scramble and Soyrizo in there, it was mostly land potatoes that it very dry. It was also quite small, so the $12 a hefty price tag. Fortunately, I had many of these pommes to keep me satisfied. Omnivorous friends will enjoy the sandwiches I hear, the chicken was very good the other breakfast Burrito (which was eaten for me) got one ok but again, a bit too dry with all potatoes in there. For the price you pay, enjoy a trip to a beautiful area and a delightful café with a pleasant outdoor environment, but the food is not worth the trip alone. To make the trip worth, Donut Friend is about 15 minutes away."

"Greenleaf Kitchen Cocktails is a great lunch choice. It was a working lunch and it worked out perfectly. Easy waiting area, and easy counter ordering with menus to look at in line, even tho our line had exactly one person in it. We chose to sit outside in partially shaded tables. The food came quickly and exactly as ordered. Between us we ordered ZORRA THE GREEK, LEMONGRASS CHICKEN, and CABO KALE salads. I had the Lemongrass Chicken and I loved it. I'll be recommending this to my wife as an option on date night. Overall, it was a chill environment and great food."

"Had to revise my review due to the service I received the last few times I visited. Food and portions are still great. You get the bang for the buck compared to other local eateries in the area. Atmosphere is your typical mom and pop diner feels, maybe a bit more upscale. Televisions around the room and cushy booths and tables. Now comes my biggest con. Tipping culture. Everest never had an option to tip on their machines and when they did introduce it, you had the option to decline with the push of a button. That in itself was awkward but not too bad. That has changed. The cashier at the drive thru the last few times has verbally asked me to tip making it even more awkward. I've feelings every time and as soon as I say so customer service makes a 360. Never received a receipt, didn't acknowledge when my transaction was done, and was handed my food and window closed without a thank you or stating if that was all of my food. Everest don't give in to tipping. Do better. Pay your employees better."

"This so far is definitely my favorite restaurant to visit. The food is amazing and healthy. I love the chicken salad and can't stop in without getting a good smoothie. They can custom make you a smoothie as well. So far I like blueberry, mango and kale the most. They also have some pretty incredible cookies when you're in the mood for it. Great selection of healthy all vegan foods, chicken or eggs. The breakfast menu is fantastic. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The area clean and we'll organized. "This was my first time at Steak and Stein, but I have dined at the other Clearman's restaurants frequently in the past. The menu contains many items found at the North Woods Inns and many that are not. The scallops were as good as the sister restaurants as was the baked potato and the cheese bread and the salads. There were many more steak choices and dessert offerings. The staff was friendly and helpful. With peanuts- no shells on the floor- a cocktail, an appetizer, salads, cheese bread, a combination steak and scallop dinner and Bananas Foster, my date and I found much food to bring home for another night."
