"Understaffed, so very slow service. The asparagus was gritty, I ate mine because I was very hungry by the time the food finally arrived. My husband's steak was unusually fatty, he didn't receive one of his sides, a cup of soup, until after he finally managed to get the waitress' attention at which point he didn't want it because he was almost done with the rest of the meal, he then ordered the asparagus, I didn't think to mention it was gritty because he was already upset with no soup, and slow service. He said he got a whole mouthful of sand. The baked potato was slightly undercooked, the baked sweet potato was slightly overcooked. The half rack of ribs was delicious and perfectly cooked. In all, except for the ribs it was sub par food and worse service. There were 2 people by the door, one was a hostess, not sure about the other but she was rolling flatware into napkins and had a fairly big bin of them rolled, so I wondered why they didn't have her helping with tables. We have been here once before recently and it was fine. I've been in the business as a waitress and as an assistant manager. I'm usually pretty forgiving, otherwise it would be 1 star."
