"The drive-thru experience was disappointing; they never seem to get my order right. When I called to speak with the manager, the person who answered passed me to a new employee who had just started their first day. It felt like a scene straight out of a movie, like the spaghetti scene from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"—it was both surprising and amusing. America is a wild place right now, and I can't help but feel frustrated by the current state of affairs, which I attribute to the president. If only this were just a movie!"

"I have been a loyal customer of Jack in the Box since 1983. Last night, around 9:30 to 9:45 PM, my wife and I went to the dining room only to find the door locked. My wife suggested we use the drive-thru instead. As she turned to head back to the car, she noticed a petite woman cleaning the soda machine. I believe her name is Alondra. She kindly assured us that the drive-thru was open, which was a relief because I was very hungry! I appreciated her attention to detail while cleaning the soda machine; it was truly refreshing to see someone take such pride in their work."

"At a certain point, there was no one at the counter, just a girl with hair clips. She didn't give me her name when I tried to place my order. She informed me that I had to order through the drive-thru because they were short-staffed and closing at 4 o'clock. I have never seen more than 2 people working at a Jack in the Box, but whatever. It was 3:50. The customer service was lacking, and it seemed like she just didn't want to cook because they were close to closing. Google says they are open 24 hours, but they close at 4. The sign on the door says 24-hour drive-thru, but okay. So, I decided to use DoorDash on my phone. I placed my order through the drive-thru to get my food. The girl at the window told me they were closed, but I insisted that I had an order to pick up. A skinny guy came to the window and said their system was down, so they couldn't take any orders. I showed him my order on my phone and he took a picture of it before making my food. I had to adjust my tip because of the inconvenience and decided to review the entire experience. I wrote this review while waiting for my food, feeling incredibly frustrated. This place is absolutely terrible! The management needs to address these issues. Update 5:36AM - I had to return because they only gave me half of my sandwiches. I had paid almost $30 for 3 breakfast sandwiches and a drink, and they didn't give me what I ordered. This time, a different person took my order, a sweet Hispanic lady who promptly fixed the mistake. The young boy was still there and took orders as I moved to the drive-thru menu. I explained that I needed my order and also wanted a coffee. He asked me to go to the window, where I told the Hispanic lady about the situation. She apologized and promptly made my sandwiches. The young boy then asked me to pay $4.33 for the coffee, to which I explained that I shouldn't be charged for the bad service I received earlier. Jack!"

"Took my family today. Have my receipt from 4:19 PM. Very rude cashier asked if they had any specials He said he did not know gave very hard Looks to me my wife and child can’t miss the gentleman I’m referring to he had a blue bandanna around his head like a do rag The company headphone on one ear and a apple AirPod in the other two nose rings and chipping, black fingernail polish . And to think at the first of the year in 2024 fast food service employees will be making $20 an hour in California. This is definitely failure from management. Hopefully, with the higher wage coming, we can expect a higher caliber employee. update: if you have complaints they will send you an automated response with no follow up contact."

"I had an issue with my order and the “manager“ on duty was not willing to Help unless I drove all the way over there. He offered me free French fries for an entire order being messed up. When asked who the manager was the next day so I could discuss this with them he refused to answer. Not only was he rude to me, he hung up on me and refused to answer the phone after that! Customer service is awful and food is never prepared accurately (I’m 3/3 for food not prepared accurately or, even worse, a health risk to those who ate the food provided! Avoid this location as much as possible!! Their employees and managers don’t care and neither does corporate (or else the managers and employees would NOT act like this to their values customers or anyone because there would be consequences . my husband worked for Foodmaker Inc for many years and anyone under him who acted as such would not still be with our company. This is such a disappointment! This should NEVER be allowed! Absolutely atrocious and his heartening!"

"I was taking a stroll and just felt like getting some onion rings (I love a good onion ring) so I searched up where I could get some and went in here. I haven 't been in Jack in the Box despite living just a few blocks away. The interior is quite quaint, with just a few seats and tables to eat at. The man who took order was very friendly. I asked for one order of onion rings and nothing else. He offered me fries for free. I glanced and noticed a mound of fries, both regular and curly, in fryer baskets suspended over the fryer. He was probably just trying to get rid of them so they didn 't have to go to waste. I said no thanks but he asked again, so I said no thanks again. He stopped insisting so I paid and got the receipt. The onion rings were $4.99 but because of a city health fee thing and tax, they turned out to actually be $5.58. I waited for a while and got my bag of what I thought were just onion rings. He said 'have a good day ' and I replied 'you too. ' Great service. I looked inside the bag and there were two little satchel bag things (I 'm not familiar with Jack in the Box sizes), one with regular fries and the other with curly fries. I got home and tried the three types of crispy sides. They were all warm. The onion rings weren 't onion-y at all and the onions pulled out of the crispy batter part. There weren 't any dips or sauces or napkins. I won 't be having those onion rings again unless I 've been hypnotized. The fries and curly fries were just alright. Well, for the price, they were the best thing ever (they were free) because I 've never had free fries. Overall, the food is just okay. The onion rings suck though. The service is outstanding however, which is why I 'm giving four stars. These are good people."

"EDIT 2: Went to go use my voucher today. Drove around back to to find an employee (a line cook possibly) smoking next to the wide open service door that leads to the kitchen. Didn't place an order and drove off. EDIT: Was finally contacted by Corporateto see what happened, a refund was mailed to me in the form of a voucher. ORIGINAL: Absolute trash. Manager was super combativeeven after she had admitted she was wrong and still refused to refund me for the items that were missing from the order.Submitted multiple inquiries to try and get the money back from these missing items and (not to be funny) have not heard Jack...Would love someone to contact me to get this sorted out, but I am running out of options."

"I used the drive through this morning to get breakfast hash brown, sausage croissant, and a large coffee for just under $10. The man at the window was polite and efficient, my food was ready within a minute of ordering. I know the cost has gone up to adjust for the hourly wage increase but I don't mind, these workers deserve a living wage and they really come correct with quality hot food at a fair price."

"Ordered from jack in the box last night, the drinks were perfectly fine, filled with ice up and soda up to the brim. All the food had no problems with them, next morning I am on my way to throw out the leftovers to find a USED lid in my soda. Mind you, i only ordered two drinks, the lid is crumpled, concluding the fact that it was intentional. I had no problems ordering from this place but I do request a health inspection immediately, unacceptable and definitely unaccounted for. Thank you."

"Didn't get what I ordered, it had bacon on it when I ordered sausage, I can't eat soft bacon, even my drinks were wrong. They did not help to fix the problem, because they did not have a manager. Extremely rude customer service and at the JACK on 43rd and Peoria, the customer is NEVER right.. Also some of your food is cold or so greasy the paper bag is soak in grease from the employees not draining your fried foods properly. Plus when you file a complaint NOTHING HAPPENS!!! One star is to high of a rating...."

"My burger bun was burned to start. I asked for a hot sauce and I was told I needed to pay $0.25 cents for it when I have never been charge at any other jack in the box, purchased $32 dollars and only got one ranch and one bbq the hot sauce was charged tome with the excuse that I was asking for too many sauces and I had to pay for any extras. Also did not get any napkins and whenI asked for some I mentioned if I need it to pay for those too and the worker was like yes you can pay in you want, she was sorude that I told her that it was my first and last time I come to this place you are rude and you don?t care about yourcustomers, she did not respond anything at all. I won?t ever be returning back to this location anymore."
