"First, I ordered sweet tea that tasted as if it had been sitting out for a week. As mentioned, I'm usually quite easygoing, but this was so unpleasant that I almost felt sick after drinking it. I suspect the filter isn't cleaned regularly, which made me uneasy about the food, so I simply requested water instead. To make matters worse, the music was incredibly loud. I had to shout—no exaggeration—just to be heard by the person sitting right next to me. This venue simply isn't suited for loud music; it’s small, and the sound has nowhere to escape. While the music itself wasn't bad, I unfortunately couldn't hear my companions at all. It was so loud that I could feel the vibrations through the floor and walls. After a long day, I was looking forward to relaxing and chatting with friends and family, but instead, I left with a headache. We also waited close to an hour and a half for our food. I understand this may happen with a larger group and while the restaurant was short-staffed. However, I noticed that other tables who were seated after us got their food, finished eating, and left before we were served. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all. When we inquired about our order, the manager assured us, “it's coming out right now!” But then we waited another ten minutes, and not all of the food was even ready. As for the food, it was mediocre. I had requested my burger to be cooked medium, but it arrived with such a bright pink center that it looked like it had barely spent a minute on the grill. My dad, who is a former professional chef, noted that my burger was far from medium and even considered saying something to the cook due to how undercooked it was. I ended up feeling too disgusted to finish it. The manager was very nice and offered us complimentary beignets for the wait, but sadly, the food did not justify the experience at all. It may be someone else's cup of tea, but I'll choose a different place next time where I can actually enjoy my meal and have a conversation."
