"My wife and I are house shopping in the area and stopped in for dinner. Food was excellent and the staff from the hostess, waitress and manager were delightful. They asked if we wanted to be part of their rewards program. If we buy in that area we'll absolutely become rewards members. They had a Tuesday night game where you pick a number 1-16 and they pull a number from a jug. If you guess right you eat for free. Great idea. We look forward to stopping in again soon!"

"This was a terrible experience. The service was poor, inattentive, and the food was subpar, bland and unsatisfactory at best. (We ordered the cowboy ribeye, oysters Rockefeller, Campanella, seafood mixed grill, calamari, kids grilled cheese, kids shrimp, and mixed drinks. Sides were lobster Mac and cheese, broccolini, asparagus, mashed potatoes fries. The portions for the appetizer of calamari was laughable. Furthermore, the server (Amanda) overcharged by $80 for 5 items that we did not order. We didn’t recognize it until leaving, thus went back in to get a manager. We got credited back for the $80 overcharge but was met with a simple “sorry.” To top it off, we will not get credit for this visit given we forgot to give our rewards at the start of the dining. This was supposed to be a special experience and we will NEVER come back to this establishment and share with anyone who will listen about our experience and the food. Unpleasant service, terrible food, overpriced, inattentive staff!"

"It's a shame that they've closed down. The reason given was a rent increase, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's more to the story. The mall itself is losing its appeal as both a shopping destination and a residential area. Over the years, I've dined there many times and never had a bad piece of fish. While it was pricey, they often offered coupons and had great happy hour options that made it more affordable. I'm really sorry to see them go, and I'd love to see them open up in a different location."

"We decided to do Brunch at Brystols for my son's birthday celebration. The server was wonderful- prompt and explained the brunch stations and menu since this is our fist visit for brunch here. There was an excellent selection of breakfast, salad and desert offerings and a wonderful omlet staion and carving station as well. We did not leave hungry and the food was very good."

"The food is always delicious at Bristol. The service was over the top way too fast. I just ordered a martini, started to drink it and our food was out 5 minutes later. Bristol is a fine dining experience; not a drive thru restaurant. We would have been out of there in 30 minutes if I hadn’t told the waiter that we just wanted to enjoy our dinner, drinks and maybe order dessert a bit later. It wasn’t busy so I’m not sure the “rush job.” Very disappointed."

"Most mediterranean restaurants are great places for veg*ns, but this places goes the extra mile. They celebrate Meatless Mondays every Monday with a special veg menu. But even the regular menu rocks. For vegans, the hummus, baba ganoush and falafel are safe. Also vegan is a roasted pepper dip, their vegan lentil soup, curried veg couscous, moroccan eggplant, portabello over lentils and my favorite the vegetable potato chop. You can get veggie combo platters also. They use cage-free, organic eggs. No eggs is obviously better but this is a step in the right direction. When I was a vegetarian, I would only eat cage-free eggs so I was able to enjoy their Brunch specials. For brunch they have omeletes, crepes, french toast and pancakes. It's open 365 days a year and you can order online. Makes me wish I lived in Andersonville."

"Very good food for the price. Not cheap in cost, quality, or quantity. Well worth it. But the dining area is not welcoming. Rather tired. Dingy? Regardless, the booths are horrible. Whoever bought those should have sat in one for a 1/2 hour first. Perhaps get your order to go. They don 't have a website. No big deal. But a web search usually brings up pictures of the 'atmosphere ' and dining area. (Sans booths! Well, this is not what you get, unless there is a banquet or huge crowd. What you see online is the back room fully set up, which is usually empty and unadorned. The normal seating area is rather vacant. What is also striking is that there is just a sign that tells you to seat yourself. And because there was no one in the main seating area, we thought the restaurant was closed. But we heard music in the background. Walking far back, through an equally empty banquet area, was a bar connected to a basic pizzeria. There was life there. And we got someone to serve us up in the 'fancy ' restaurant. Later we found out that there is a door bell that goes off when someone enters the 'void ' and a server from the pizza place comes and hands out a limited, but decent menu. But still, the food is great as take out."

"As someone who considers themselves a food enthusiast in Somerville, I thought I had tried it all until I visited Venetian Grille for lunch. To start, I ordered the bacon and cheese appetizer, which was reasonably priced. I was not just satisfied; I was truly amazed by the explosion of flavors that hit my palate. It was simply fantastic. I contemplated ordering another round of these delightful bites, but my attention shifted to the Blackened Filet Tips. A generous portion was soon served to me (and I took some home for later), and my taste buds embarked on a journey reminiscent of an epic adventure. The Cajun spices combined with the creamy horseradish sauce were absolutely enchanting, singing to me like sirens from mythology. On top of the amazing food, the service was excellent, and I appreciated that both the bread and mozzarella are made in-house."

"I had the worst experience at a restaurant that I usually love. The three hostesses were unhelpful and seemed to be doing nothing. It took 30 minutes to receive our appetizer, and then an additional 10 minutes for my salad. My mother, who is 91, ended up waiting even longer for her salad until I complained. The excuse given was that our waitress was new. When our main meals finally arrived, my mother had to wait 40 minutes for her food. The manager didn’t offer any assistance or support, despite the restaurant being full. All we received were apologies from the new waitress. It was incredibly disappointing."
