"Very good food for the price. Not cheap in cost, quality, or quantity. Well worth it. But the dining area is not welcoming. Rather tired. Dingy? Regardless, the booths are horrible. Whoever bought those should have sat in one for a 1/2 hour first. Perhaps get your order to go. They don 't have a website. No big deal. But a web search usually brings up pictures of the 'atmosphere ' and dining area. (Sans booths! Well, this is not what you get, unless there is a banquet or huge crowd. What you see online is the back room fully set up, which is usually empty and unadorned. The normal seating area is rather vacant. What is also striking is that there is just a sign that tells you to seat yourself. And because there was no one in the main seating area, we thought the restaurant was closed. But we heard music in the background. Walking far back, through an equally empty banquet area, was a bar connected to a basic pizzeria. There was life there. And we got someone to serve us up in the 'fancy ' restaurant. Later we found out that there is a door bell that goes off when someone enters the 'void ' and a server from the pizza place comes and hands out a limited, but decent menu. But still, the food is great as take out."

The food was fantastic. The staff was incredibly patient with the three kids we brought along on an early New Year's Eve.

They did a fantastic job accommodating the pandemic restrictions. The food and drinks were excellent, and the prices were reasonable.

We decided to try this restaurant in Somerville, because our other choice was closed on Sunday. We called, and they suggested making a reservation, so we set one up at 7:30 pm. When we arrived, out of 60 tables, we were the only ones in... View menu

Great food and great staff. The penne Giuseppe was delicious, the pizza was great, the NY strip steak was cooked perfectly and the marinara was clearly fresh as well as delicious. The manager Yvonne was very accommodating and provided excellent service. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.

This place is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I want to go to a fair lunchon, this is the place that comes first to my head. Great and many types of food and a rich cuisine.trained staff members, and nice atmosphere. In addition to that, the expence is reasonable. I recommend this spot with no doubt.

I always liked the Venetian Grille, but being attached to the pizzeria and bat next door, it was always very slow in comparison, with priority clearly being given to the next door location. Additionally in my most recent visit, although we walked into the Grille and not the pizzeria, when we sat outside we were given the pizzeria's menu. It was a bit bizarre. The food was good, but the menu from the Grille is much better. View menu

I’ve dined here before, but I returned specifically for the half-priced Sangria. The bar was bustling with the football game on, yet the bartender took our drink order quickly and accurately. It was a great spot to enjoy some drinks before heading out to explore Somerville in search of a special restaurant for a birthday celebration. On a previous visit, we had the incredible Zuppa di Pesce, which we both loved. Overall, we appreciated the meal, the service, and the location.

We only came because of a food voucher from restaurants.com, and we spent a good deal more than necessary to use the voucher. The three of us ordered scallops in a spicy diablo sauce, walnut-crusted chicken with sweet potatoes, and a chicken dish with pasta and sausage. For an appetizer we had the acclaimed fried calamari, which did not disappoint. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. So what's the problem? Well, for one the price. All the prices were higher than the online menu suggested, probably due to the prevalence of the food vouchers. Second, as everyone has noted, the place is COLD. The heat came on by the time we left and there were more diners. Finally, service did slow down a...

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
