"Italian food is another one of my favorites. Whenever I’m in the area I at least stop by for a slice of pizza. Their pizza is really delicious along with their pasta. Be careful when the pizza comes out of the oven as it is extremely hot. Most time I ask them not to make it so hot because I can’t wait to eat it. There is a seating area to consume your food. There is also seating for indoor dining. The service is fast and again the food is delicious. The staff are professional and friendly. There is a bar located downstairs where they play music, nice vibe to the place. The restaurant accepts cash and card for payment. They even deliver. There are restrooms located upstairs and downstairs. Give this place a try I’m sure you’ll like it."

"We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The outdoor dining area offers a beautiful view of the water. The wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu options. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food we received. The atmosphere was pleasant, with only soft chatter from other diners. Overall, we felt we received great value for our money. We had a wonderful time and plan to bring my wife's family here on their next visit. Thank you!"

"This is our 'go to ' place to relax and enjoy a great dinner. The wine list is modest but John always sources some great ones. We love the patio for it 's cozy feel even on a hot day it was our favorite table! Nice Father 's Day evening for a great husband and Dad. Service was good even with us bring the lone table on the patio and inside quite busy."

"I went back and I brought friends! I've been telling everyone about how good their meatballs were so I came out with some friends to put my money where my mouth was. We ordered: cherry pepper fried calamari, a little spicy but fried calamari tossed with a couple of different peppers including jalapeño and a huge dallop of ricotta in the middle. My favorite of the night mozzarella en carozza, deep fried cheese triangles but not like mozzarella sticks at all. Also very nice baked clams, exactly that, wasn't crazy about them but they weren't bad. They just didn't compare to the other dishes veal parmigiana with penne, delicious and a huge portion my friends orders the chicken taormina and were blown away after the first bite Customer service was incredible as always. The patrons all seemed to know each other and the people that worked there. Our servers were super attentive. There was a little wait for a table but I definitely see why: incredible food and impeccable service, such a family friendly and homey atmosphere. Can't wait to come back"

"Went with my 2 year old for dinner after daycare pick up and going back to daycare in an hour for a fall festival. Plenty of time for dinner. Only ordered ravioli in butter sauce and kids Kraft Mac and cheese. We got there around 5:20 and needed toleave by 6:10. We were lucky enough to be able to get our food delivered in to go boxes at 6:13, pay the check, and run out thedoor. We didn?t even get to eat dinner the whole time there. At 6:00 a small salad with no dressing was delivered so my daughterhad a couple croutons for dinner before the event. When we got home and I heated up our dinner, my ravioli I ordered with buttersauce had tomato sauce. It was still good, but I literally paid $36 for ravioli with sauce I didn?t order and Kraft Mac andcheese that I can get for $2 at the market. Wait staff was nice and apologetic, however we won?t be going back."

"I wanted to leave a cautionary review of a pizza I ordered last night. I'll preface this review by saying I've never, ever had a bad experience at Taormina's and I'm sure this was a fluke, but something to be aware of.I ordered a large buffalo chicken pizza last night and it tasted fine, but I felt there was waaay too much cheese on it. Some might consider this a plus, but the grease was substantial. On my second slice, I noticed that some of the chicken on the pizza had arteries still in the muscle, which made me question the quality of the chicken (perhaps it is repurposed from other dishes at the restaurant, or just overall low quality meat? . This made me lose my appetite for the evening, but this morning I gave the leftovers a second chance. On my first slice this morning, I bit into a large (about one inch long piece of chicken bone still in the meat. This actually hurt a bit because I wasn't expecting any bone on my pizza. I lost my appetite for the second time and will be discarding the remaining half of the pizza.I have had many meals and pizzas here and I will likely order plain pizzas in the future, as they have always been very good. I will avoid any toppings from here on in, though. Would recommend the pasta dishes and sandwiches instead!"

"Stepping into Frugatti’s restaurant felt like being enveloped in a warm embrace. The inviting atmosphere immediately set the tone for an unforgettable evening. From the very beginning, the staff radiated genuine warmth, making us feel truly valued and appreciated, which laid the foundation for a memorable experience. The evening was perfectly guided by our attentive waiter, Ali, whose consistent excellence shone through as he recommended a delightful Pinot Noir that paired beautifully with our meal. Each sip was a reminder of how well he understood the menu, enhancing our dining adventure. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the manager, Elliot. With his charming demeanor, he effortlessly engaged us in small talk that felt warm and personal. His recommendations, particularly the spicy parmesan chicken things, sparked our curiosity and excitement. With a knack for making every guest feel special, Elliot masterfully evoked a sense of nostalgia reminiscent of days gone by—when owners and chefs would wander through the dining room, checking on their guests, remembering names, and genuinely inquiring about their experiences. His dedication to maintaining a high standard was obvious as he frequently checked in on our feedback, creating a seamless blend of attentiveness and warmth that made the evening truly special. As we left Frugatti’s with full stomachs and smiles lighting our faces, it was clear that this exceptional experience was the result of a passionate team. We are already looking forward to our next visit for another amazing date night!"

"Stopped in for lunch on a Monday, arriving towards the end of the lunch rush… they were still busy, but we were seated quickly. Our server (who was also the bartender) was great and very helpful. He also was very talented making the Spanish coffee drink they’re noted for, which is definitely a show!! Having never been here before, we didn’t know what they were known for, but came in due to all the very positive reviews. Turns out this is the oldest restaurant and bar in Portland and they’re known for turkey! They do turkey in many different ways and they do an excellent job with it! I tried their turkey enchilada soup and it was very tasty, with a little spicy kick to it. My entrée was their open-face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and their sage stuffing. The stuffing was perfectly moist and flavorful! The turkey was all excellent, moist (not dry at all) and very flavorful!!! The gravy on top was also great… In all, this was an excellent turkey meal… it’s like experiencing a tasty Thanksgiving for lunch in May! Even their cranberry sauce (which I normally don’t like) was great, as it had orange in it to help with the normal bitterness of the cranberries. Highly recommend stopping in here for a historic visit to a great joint for lunch or dinner!"

"I was invited to this restaurant based on positive recommendations. Upon entering, the friendly staff greeted our group. Our waitress was well-informed about the menu and specials when we placed our order. We began with calamari as an appetizer. My main course was the shrimp and lobster pasta, and we also ordered a children's pasta. For dessert, we chose bread pudding. The calamari was flavorful with tomato sauce and corn. It was cooked perfectly, tender rather than crunchy. The shrimp and lobster pasta was delicious and offered a good portion for its price. Everything was tender and full of flavor. The children's pasta was appropriately sized for a kid's meal. The bread pudding was a delightful treat with a soft texture. The warm pudding and ice cream on top created a satisfying contrast. This restaurant truly lives up to its reputation. I've already recommended it to others, and I'm eager to return and try more dishes. By the way, the experience was so good that I visited their adjoining bakery, Baked Buns, to bring home more treats!"

"Wonderful experience here! I am very wary of touristy places in SoBe, however, this was anything but (in the negative sense). The food was excellent. The service was impeccable and I LOVE the fact they have specials pretty much every day, different times of the day. We sat in the garden and it was beautiful back there. I will definitely be recommending this place to people and will also be returning on my trips to Miami. Thank you to team for everything, and big shot out to whoever manages this place. Top tier and authentic. Great variety of food and wine as well.

"After a few drinks with friends at the nearby brewery I came here with a craving for pizza. The theme of the place was New York City and it was interesting to see the names of neighborhoods lining the walls and bridges in photos. I ordered two slices. They didn 't have a wide selection available, so I got one BBQ chicken and one margherita. They heated both slices and gave me a small box to go. The slices were decent, certainly comparable to New York places, but not the best New York places. Vegetarian options: You can get pizza with meat toppings or just cheese Kid-friendliness: Kids would enjoy the pizza here Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Slice of Pizza"

"my first time here and ready to be asked if they made reservations. it's not a big thing and it took her one to find a table and I'm not sure why. the restaurant was beautifully decorated and the facility was very relaxing and welcoming. our waiter was very profis. I command the Butternuss-Quash-Lasagna with huh he warned me that his little one on the sweet side would be the combination of zimt that she would find in a butternut soup. I added chickens to him, but I'd order it without the chicken. my man had pasta carbonara. the tastes were right."

"We had not been here for a while, but decided to visit since it is conveniently close. What a disappointment. I ordered an Eggplant Parmigiana Hero. Took my first bite and knew I made a mistake. It was like eating a bread and sauce and cheese sandwich. The sauce tasted like diluted tomato paste, but what was worse was their excuse for the eggplant. It was sliced so thin that you could not taste nor recognize it was eggplant. It was still breaded which added to the bread on bread taste. A total ripoff. We will not be back! By the way, our server whose name I think was Angelina was terrific, pleasant and professional."

"Great dine-in vibe and feel. Food was really good, although outside of pizzas their food is below average, for the money (or expensive for what it is, if you prefer). Service was okay at best but there's plenty of staff so I will give the benefit of the doubt. It's called Pizza and Brew, folks. You'll love staying in for the pizzas and the brews, atmosphere is awesome. There's everything for everyone in there. I look forward to going there again. Kid and family friendly!"

"Stopped by this awesome homey restaurant in a huge car rest stop near Exit 34 of CA 60 E Pomona Freeway and IT WAS FANTASTIC. I got a full rest refueled myself with yummy Italian dishes, while my car was parked in a tree shaded spot which there are many! This place serves really nice Italian cuisine with European pub vibes atmosphere inside (I LOVE THIS FEELING SINCE WALKING IN OMG) Lovely music, partitioned seatings, dim lighting, great food smell, wine shelf, vintage restroom, etc.. Here are the cheat sheet if you are blank of what to order: ? starter cheesy garlic bread: perfect seasoning, crispy thin crust ? main low cal salmon: juicy tender salmon with nicely grilled veggies chicken masala: my favorite pasta OMG lasagna: soft properly cooked cheesy ? side (comes with main) Julie's wedding soup: delicious soup with a lot of ingredients salad (ranch, Italian dressing): fresh mix of your favorites ? drink Italian soda: carbonated creamy very yummm The staff here are all really nice and made me feel at home. This is a very impressive unique feeling to experience at a restaurant.. I'm sure you'll be blessed with food and love here!!"

"Update 7/23/24 Today I decided to try the cheese burger sub. It was excellent! I love that Vinny 's is always consistently fresh with their ingredients. The Italian Cold Cut is awesome! The quality of the meats, cheese, and bread really make this an awesome sandwich. My first bite , I said to my self, This is what an Italian Cold Cut is supposed to taste like ! I just wish they would have the options of hot peppers. The bread is so fresh and amazing! We frequent Vinny 's Café, and love many other dishes as well."

"The staff at Di Salvo, particularly Michael Fossati, who is the catering and banquet manager, were amazing and made our wedding reception planning completely stress-free and enjoyable. Mike guided my fiancée and me through the challenges of having a wedding during a pandemic, addressing the concerns of guests who were anxious about their safety but still wanted to celebrate with us. He handled food accommodations effortlessly. On the day of the reception, which had been postponed due to COVID, the service was incredibly fast and smooth. Every course was served promptly and cleared away without a hitch, and Mike even had a wallet ready for the money dance when we found ourselves without one! They truly made what I expected to be a hectic event much more manageable. I would definitely choose Di Salvo's Station Restaurant for our wedding reception again!"

"Absolutely incredible experience. They are not open regular business hours but more for events such as weddings. However they do have a monthly special wine dinner where the owner showcases rare wines and pairs them with an absolutely delicious 4 or 5 course meal. It is not just a special night out or just dinner but an experience. You should really try it, you will dine on intensely delicious food, incredible wine, all while making new friends. The owner Joey is great and gives you everything he has on this special night and I am sure for any special event you have coming up."

"We decided to ignore the negative reviews and gave this restaurant a try last Saturday, but we won't be returning. We should have listened, but we chose it last minute since it was the only place that wasn't crowded. The food was mediocre at best; pizza is just pizza. The real issue, however, was the staff. The bartender seemed completely clueless—despite the place not being busy, it took us 20 minutes to get our drinks. He spent most of the time either chatting or looking at his phone. Our server was the rudest we've ever encountered, carrying a noticeable chip on her shoulder. Other staff members were too busy joking around and complaining about their tables within earshot of customers. When it came time to order desserts, we had to ask three times. Overall, the level of unprofessionalism here is simply not worth the money or your time. The food doesn't come close to making up for the poor service and attitude from the staff and owner."
