"I was invited to this restaurant based on positive recommendations. Upon entering, the friendly staff greeted our group. Our waitress was well-informed about the menu and specials when we placed our order. We began with calamari as an appetizer. My main course was the shrimp and lobster pasta, and we also ordered a children's pasta. For dessert, we chose bread pudding. The calamari was flavorful with tomato sauce and corn. It was cooked perfectly, tender rather than crunchy. The shrimp and lobster pasta was delicious and offered a good portion for its price. Everything was tender and full of flavor. The children's pasta was appropriately sized for a kid's meal. The bread pudding was a delightful treat with a soft texture. The warm pudding and ice cream on top created a satisfying contrast. This restaurant truly lives up to its reputation. I've already recommended it to others, and I'm eager to return and try more dishes. By the way, the experience was so good that I visited their adjoining bakery, Baked Buns, to bring home more treats!"

The noise level was too high during my visit. I sat down for dinner, and most of the sounds seemed to come from the bar area. It wasn’t a relaxing environment for eating or having a conversation. Next time I go, I’ll make sure to eat during the quieter hours.

I absolutely adore the Carlyle Room! The food is fantastic, the music is enjoyable, and the atmosphere is delightful. It truly feels like a perfect night out on the town—like Vegas in Washington, D.C.! Parking is convenient at $8 with validation, and you can take the elevator up to the club. For this visit, I dined in for dinner and had a wonderful experience!

However, I believe they should implement an automatic 18% tip on all bills to help retain their excellent waitstaff. A grand reopening could be a great opportunity to reintroduce some of the pricier menu items. The restaurant could definitely use some assistance! The manager used to check in with diners regularly when the place was thriving, but that doesn't seem to happen anymore. Please consider making some changes, GAR! We would love to return, but as things stand, you’re not currently on our reliable list. Sorry!

My favorite restaurant in Shirlington offers an amazing atmosphere and outstanding service. I frequently order online and dine in person, and the food is always consistently delicious. The bartenders are fantastic too. I even took my father, who is quite a picky eater, and he loved it. Everything is always fresh, and they have a spacious patio area for warm days. Surprisingly, their filet is exceptional—I typically avoid ordering steak outside of steakhouses, but they do a fantastic job here.
