"Ok. Here's my take. Most people I know who go there say it's ok. Their salads ans smoothies seem to be decent. I had a salad there, once. Up to par. I was there last week and ordered fish and chips. Anyone who knows what this is knows that means deep fried, battered Cod with thick cut fries. What came to me was pan fried tilapia. Probably from a polluted golf course pond in Florida. Who knows? New Yorkers seem to like Tilapia for some reason. The chips were shoe string fries. I asked for extra tartar sauce to cover the nasty tsste. A few times. I was given some. Then I got the typical Brooklyn attitude saying he did me a FAVOR and now he's going to charge me if I ask for more sauce or ketchup. This guy is used to dealing with med students from the hospital. I will SPECIFICALLY direct them to the other resturant a block away. I was NOT happy."

"Located in the heart of the Stanford community, the atmosphere is lively with many people working, chatting, and simply enjoying their time. The decor adds to its charm, featuring pictures of famous Stanford alumni and interesting tables throughout the space. The vibe here is truly special! The staff is friendly and attentive. You can easily get water, add milk to your drink, or opt for a to-go order. They accept wireless transactions, and the coffee machine is top-notch. Prices are quite reasonable; my large cappuccino was only $4 plus tax. I genuinely enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend this place for meetings, studying, or just hanging out."

"Absolutely terrible experience. As other reviews have pointed out, they added a tip without informing me and didn’t provide a receipt. This is completely unacceptable. The food and sandwiches were overpriced, and the bread was dry and stale. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and go to Andy's Deli just down the street instead."

"It feels like this restaurant was somewhat overlooked in its design. Its location is a bit unusual, and the layout on the main floor could use some improvement. However, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. They offer a full bar and a respectable selection of beers. You might even consider it a hidden gem within the larger Marriott hotel. They also serve great coffee and have takeout options for those on the go. Definitely worth a visit!"

"My fiancé and I had a wedding cake tasting appointment, but unfortunately there was a mix-up with the schedule and the person in charge of cakes was not available when we arrived. We were told to come back the following week at the same time, only to encounter the same issue again. It was frustrating as I had to take time off work in Missouri to make the trip. Making one mistake is understandable, but repeating it shows laziness and lack of attention. If you value your time, I recommend looking elsewhere for your wedding cake."

"As we departed our airport hotel to begin our road trip through the Pacific Northwest, we decided to search for a coffee spot other than Starbucks. This place had great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. Located in the heart of the business district, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious offerings. The teenagers in our group especially enjoyed the tasty energy drinks, while the adults indulged in the flavorful Americano white chocolate mochas. Overall, it was a great find and we were happy we stopped in."

"I have to say, this place is wonderful as long as you avoid ordering the chilaquilas and crepes. The Veggie Burrito is delicious and fresh, the Acai Classic Bowl is very good with a generous amount of fresh fruit. The Almond Danish is quite tasty with plenty of almond paste. The Caramel Latte was also a hit. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious as well."

"I love this spot but know that giving it a higher rating would be due to a nostalgia factor as opposed to the actual goods/atmosphere. There are other Gateaux locations near this one, but this one has the most goods. This is also a Korean bakery chain. Love their goguma (sweet potato latte when they have it during the colder season.Unfortunately inflation/the economy caused the prices on a lot of the bakery items to go up. I will say that the drink prices are still very fair, as are many of the lil' bread items.You'll just have to try their items to figure out which ones you like most. Personally their curry doughnut and mochi (served in a pack of four , along with their coffee-cream filled bread loaf are my fave bakery items of theirs. They also sell bingsu (shave ice but it's not good value imo.I know some reviews said that the bakery ladies were mean, but tbh they're overall pretty polite, just not bubbly/cheerful (which they don't owe you! .The interior is also great for getting work done on your laptop."

Normally, I opt for takeout when I'm by myself, but this time I wanted to dine in and was grateful that they didn't make me wait for a table for two. Since there were no two-person tables available, they offered me a table for four, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the restaurant seemed quite understaffed; it appeared that there was just one waiter serving the entire indoor area, and patrons were becoming impatient with him. "Parking: Located in a very empty dead strip mall, so there's a good amount available. The store can be kind of difficult to find depending on which parking lot you go to. Ambience: It's very unassuming--it's literally just a booth set up at the entrance of the establishment. There's nowhere to sit, so it's only good for take-out. Service: Standard, no complaints Taste: I got the pandan, which was very artificially green yet only had the very slightest hint of pandan flavor, if any at all. I wouldn't recommend the pandan, but I would recommend the milk tea rolled ice cream that my friend got, which was actually quite flavorful and delicious. Overall, it hits the spot when you're in the mood for aesthetic ice cream--just don't get the pandan flavor if you actually want pandan"

"Portion sizes are SO small. Don’t really get the hype around it. I wouldn’t come back for the melon bread or green tea UFO cake. Strawberry sando was $2 and sold out, but they were making it in the back… it’s the length of my finger, that’s why it’s so cheap Spicy tuna was actually quite spicy, but I ate it in two bites. Smoked salmon was good but definitely not a lot of salmon"
