"I’m beyond disappointed. I ordered a cake for my mother’s 70th birthday over the phone. I made it clear that this was a milestone birthday and I wanted it to be a special cake that would feed 3-4 people. The person who helped me was unenthusiastic and didn’t seem interested in doing a custom cake so I just asked for lavender decoration and said I would use a topper. Today I was given an italian cream cake (the flavor I requested so thats fine). It’s completely undecorated, the frosting isn’t even smooth on top, and I’m like 99% sure this wasn’t made to order because it’s not even in a box… it’s so basic that I was almost charged twice for it when trying to get candles. Also it’s really big. This could easily feed 7-8 people.I’m sure it’ll taste great, Rick’s always delivers on that level, but I’m disappointed by the service and I honestly probably won’t be coming back."

Came in on 02/19 at 545 pm. I understand y’all close at 6 but the way I was treated was ridiculous. When we asked about the brownies we were told that would be a pain to rewrap so don’t order those. Hope to hear back.

The best bakery ever. I will have them do my wedding, they are superb. Chocolate is rich, white is not too sweet and the carrot cake is perfection, not very sweet but with a lovely cream cheese icing that brings it to life. The petit fors are a must have. View menu

I could smell that good chocolate soon after entering, then I could smell the sticky buns, I decided on my usual, sausage rolls? I also got two cinnamon rolls and chocolate long johns, one filled with Bavarian cream, the care packaging my order was exceptional, service wasover top notch, , consistency over the decades, wow ! My fiancé and I had a wedding cake tasting appointment, but unfortunately there was a mix-up with the schedule and the person in charge of cakes was not available when we arrived. We were told to come back the following week at the same time, only to encounter the same issue again. It was frustrating as I had to take time off work in Missouri to make the trip. Making one mistake is understandable, but repeating it shows laziness and lack of attention. If you value your time, I recommend looking elsewhere for your wedding cake.
