"Great ambiance and service. The food is mediocre. Breakfast and brunch is much better than dinner. The escargots are good, but hard to screw that up. Beet salad was nice, with an appropriately smelly bleu cheese and poached apples. The onion soup is good, but not as good as everyone raves. I felt the soup itself was so overpowered by the large amount of cheese they put in it. I much prefer an onion soup to have a good amount of caramelized onion, but this certainly lacked that, felt almost like a cheese stew. If that's your thing, go for it. The steak a poivre was highly disappointing. It was cooked to medium rare, perfectly. Unfortunately they're clearly using inferior meat and not preparing it well. It was incredibly tough and chewy. Not a hint of marbling in it, so despite being medium rare, it also felt incredibly dry. Served with fries which were standard, but nothing to write home about. The spinach with it was overly salty. I was excited about dessert. But let down again. The caramelized banana ricotta tart had bruleed banana and delicious banana ice cream. The tart itself was rather dry even with that. The apple tarte tatin was good, but again, the base was hard and dry. Difficult to even cut (we were only provided a spoon, which should normally be fine). The wine (house and by the glass) was all mediocre. The service was great."

"If you've never been to a Bread Butter, think of it as one of those multipurpose food markets where you can get anything from sandwiches to salads to burgers to stir fry in various stations, a buffet consisting of a potpourri of different foods, and even random groceries. Oh, and you can get breakfast too. That's really its bread butter (pun intended). Not the best food by any means, but simply a multidimensional place. This place unlike some of the other locations is a bit on the darker side due to a lack of lighting across the interior. I prefer the stir fry from here, though I believe the pastas aren't a bad option either. The buffets are tempting, but remember not to overstuff as you certainly don't want to spend $20 on lunch."

"The service and food here are OUTATANDING! The staff makes you feel right at home. The tomahawk steak was perfect, lobster mac cheese was awesome, brown butter creamed spinach was delicious, the oysters oh yummy and dessert was lime the icing on the cake. We will miss this place till we return. Thank you staff for an outstanding dinner and experience."

"I can 't remember her name (I 'm sorry that 's so rude , but our server was a female working inside and she had dark hair that was pulled up. We were at the 1st 2-top to the left in the dining room. We were sitting next to a table of 4 with a self-proclaimed restaurateur who couldn 't bother to pick up the dirty napkin they dropped on the floor. Our server did a great job from start to finish. Our food and drinks were fast, she told us the specials and gave recommendations, and she cleared reset the table throughout service. She also had more patience than I would have with the 4-top next to us. Shout out to the bartenders, runners, manager, and kitchen staff for smooth and efficient service :"

"I've been here a couple times now, and have loved it. It has a very cozy, local, neighborhood-y vibe that can be hard to find theses days. Lots of indoor seating. I ordered the Reuben sandwich with side salad, and it was generously portioned, delicious, and fresh. Their coffee is also good and we'll-priced. This is a good place to catch up with a friend, read, or get some work done."

"I just want to say that the server, Janelle, was incredibly sweet, kind, helpful, and friendly. She took the time to go through the entire menu with me and helped me choose the perfect dish based on my preferences. Not only that, but she was also funny and made sure I had everything I needed by checking in on me regularly. Her excellent service truly enhanced my dining experience! Thank you for the amazing food and service. I will definitely be returning and recommending this restaurant to my friends and family."

"My friend and I took the kids away for a couple of nights, and since the restaurant at our accommodation was closed for the evening, we had to go out in search of dinner. Fortunately, we found a great spot where Jason was our bartender, and he was fantastic. He recommended some excellent dishes, and every suggestion he made was spot on. The Buffalo wings were outstanding, and the kids absolutely loved their burgers! The fresh, handmade beef patties paired with grilled buns were a game changer! The shredded chicken on the Caesar salad was also delicious. The restaurant was quite busy, as things tend to wind down around 8 or 9 PM in that area. Overall, we enjoyed great food, excellent service, and very reasonable prices! Thanks again, Jason—we'll definitely be returning!"

"I come here every day to enjoy a cup of coffee and have my delicious sandwich. I love taking my time here because of the wonderful staff. My favorite is Manolo; he's incredibly pleasant and always takes a moment to chat, no matter how busy he is. He truly is the best! Then there's Desiree, who is always helpful, kind, and patient. You both are amazing! This place feels like a second home to me."

"It's difficult to express just how much joy Mrs. Mac's Fillin Station brings me. This charming breakfast and lunch spot takes me back to a time when everyone knew their neighbors, and Ed the butcher had your Sunday roast ready every week. The vintage gas station decor makes it clear that this place stands out from the rest. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and they even remembered me after just one visit! The food is consistently delicious—the home fries are perfectly crispy all around, the biscuits are wonderfully buttery and moist, and they cook my eggs just right every single time. And just take a look at those thick, juicy sausages! If I lived here, I would be visiting every day. My only complaint is that I can't enjoy breakfast here twice a day since they don't open until 7. I'm going to miss you all and I'll definitely return every time I'm in the area!"

"I am a West Chester University Alumni. I graduated years ago. This spot used to be a very popular spot that my friends and I would hang out at. College students were in and out all the time. Between the students and the local clientele, this place was always busy at all hours. The salad bar was loaded with amazing things and food was consistently good. My dad would take me here when he would come out to visit. That was of course about and around 18 years ago. Since then I have been here a couple of times relatively recent. I’m meeting up with a friend for breakfast now simply for the nostalgia. The last couple times I was here I was admittedly disappointed in the quality of the food. The servers were very kind. I was told to stick to the breakfast or the burgers so that’s what I will do. It is so weird with these luxury apartments right next door that they sort of share a driveway with and the old cars junked in the back. I don’t think the lot is even as big as it used to be. I’m here, searching for nostalgia. I’ll stick to the breakfast. Does anybody know if and when they changed ownership? I’d be curious to know."

"The tuna salad sandwich was absolutely delightful! I had it on a croissant, and it's now my go-to comfort food! I really appreciate the addition of alfalfa sprouts as well. The croissant was perfectly crisp and flaky on the outside, while the inside was a buttery dream that just melted in my mouth. My taste buds are still celebrating!"

"I absolutely love the vibe off this place! Dark with lots of character speaking to its long history, it’s like stepping back in time but even at 10:30pm is packed with diners having a good time. But at any restaurant it comes down to the food, and I’d come for two things — their famous black label burger and the bone marrow. I can definitely see why the burger ranks so highly — the quality of beef is top notch and packed with flavor. On a future visit I’d probably get mine medium instead of med … – show"

"Bakery and old fashioned kitchen preparing sandwiches, homemade soups and desserts! It’s located in the heart of downtown Franklin with 2 hour free street and 1 hour or 30 minute free garage parking, check your parking space number carefully to see which it is. Also please be careful crossing the street by walking in designated pedestrian crosswalks! You order at the counter and the line can get long at peak times but they are good about opening a second register. Our go to’s are the curried chicken salad sandwich on wheat or oatmeal bread and on Monday jambalaya with Andouille sausage and bay shrimp. If you get a sandwich I would definitely opt to upgrade to the salad over the complimentary chips! Their soups change daily, are homemade, not salty and are delicious. Great desserts including their homemade pies. They also have items available to go including their fresh baked bread and whole frozen pies. The dining room is quaint and they have a outdoor courtyard area with Magnolia trees and pea gravel."

"This is the second time we've ordered from Elly's. I wanted to wait until we had a second meal before posting a review to ensure our experience wasn't just a fluke. I tried the Biscuits and Gravy with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. Both times we've ordered the biscuits and gravy, it has been delicious, with a generous amount of gravy, and the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection! Honestly, they might be the best scrambled eggs I've ever had, aside from my own. My girlfriend had the Berry Mascarpone Crepes, and they were just as delicious. Elly's will definitely be our new go-to spot for weekend breakfasts!"

"Nestled in a quiet JP neighborhood, Tres Gatos is a good place to enjoy tapas in a causal and relaxing atmosphere. It is housed in an old building, and the retro bookstore decorations set an uncomplicated setting that goes along well with the theme of the restaurant. On my recent visit, I got to try several pinchos and tapas, and most of the dishes were fairly good. I liked that they didn’t over-season their food, and seared sea scallops, Brussels sprouts, and chickpea fritters were some of the standouts. The playful integration of citrus in the Brussels sprouts was particularly enjoyable, and the Greek-inspired chickpea fritters were also very interesting. Paella was the least favorite part of the meal as it lacked the socarrat-like caramelization and crunch. Overall, a solid tapas experience with a couple of interesting dishes. Service was great throughout our meal, and while I probably wouldn’t travel from far to try them again, it was certainly interesting to learn what the tapas scene is like in the Boston suburbs."

"When it's 90 degrees outside at a rooftop restaurant and you request a table in the shade (with most of them being empty), it’s disappointing when the hostess declines your request, only to seat another couple in the shade right after. The place was mostly empty, and even when we left, it remained that way. They definitely could have accommodated us in the shade. On a positive note, the bartenders were fantastic. Unfortunately, we had to cut our visit short because of the heat. This experience will likely discourage us from returning, especially on hot days. I would recommend it to a friend, but with some reservations."
