"If you've never been to a Bread Butter, think of it as one of those multipurpose food markets where you can get anything from sandwiches to salads to burgers to stir fry in various stations, a buffet consisting of a potpourri of different foods, and even random groceries. Oh, and you can get breakfast too. That's really its bread butter (pun intended). Not the best food by any means, but simply a multidimensional place. This place unlike some of the other locations is a bit on the darker side due to a lack of lighting across the interior. I prefer the stir fry from here, though I believe the pastas aren't a bad option either. The buffets are tempting, but remember not to overstuff as you certainly don't want to spend $20 on lunch."

Preface within went at 2am: it still had it's sandwich section open and the food was good, but they didn't leave out a drawing space for late night. But for the time it was a good place to stop by for some food!

Great buffet with fantastic breakfast sandwiches, a variety of fruit, and plenty of juice available. The building has a bit of a rustic feel, and the dining area is quite simple, but that just adds to its charm.

No bathrooms, even for customers. Went bc of all the amazing soup comments- the chicken soup was boring and bland. Daughter and I left hungry and didn’t even finish it. My husbands sandwich was good, that’s why 3 stars. Employees were nice.

Everyone was extremely friendly, and the Italian sandwich was absolutely delicious. Just take a look at that cross section! It's like bringing a model to a sandwich showcase and ending up with a Subway sandwich deal. Perfect for a quick bite on 5th Ave! View menu

Brot and Butter is an excellent spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff are very friendly, and there’s a wide variety of food and drink options. The fresh ingredients are quite affordable, with very reasonable prices overall. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area!

Been ordering from uber eats for the longest since I don't work close by anymore. But damn I love this place especially when it comes to the smoothies and drinks. Idk if it was there back in 2016-17 but if so I slept on this place. Whoever is making the smoothies need to send me the recipes : A

The food was fantastic! There are plenty of options to choose from. It is a bit on the expensive side (around $12 per pound if I remember correctly), but definitely worth trying. I suggest starting with small portions so you can sample a bit of everything. Hahaha! In addition to self-serve dishes, they also offer breakfast sandwiches, juices, coffee, salad stations, and more. So if rice and traditional dishes aren’t your thing, you’ll still find plenty of alternatives. Overall, I highly recommend it!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
