"This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and while it could have been a one-time issue, I’m not inclined to take the risk again. I ordered the War Shu Duck, but I barely found any duck in the dish. What I did find were small bits that might have been duck, but they were primarily attached to pieces of what seemed like bone or cartilage. Crunching on these was quite unpleasant due to the texture and the uncertainty of what I was eating. Overall, not a great experience. Service: Delivery, Meal type: Dinner, Food rating: 1 out of 5."

My wife is Asain so I believe she knows good Asain food. She also thought she food was GREAT. They definitely could use a paint job inside but that has nothing to do with the food. "This used to be an easy 5 star rating; I've been a loyal and frequent customer of New China House for about 15 years! They've consistently been my favorite restaurant in this entire area, and the only local Chinese restaurant I patronized that's how much I loved the food I used to get. I absolutely LOVED their Monk's menu (particularly the Monk's Beef (seitan) with Broccoli, which I nearly always ordered), and the Crispy Eggplant! The Vegetable Chow Mai Fun was tasty, too. I also always included the Vegetable Spring Rolls and Vegetable Dumplings (fried) with my orders. Because I'd been ordering the Monk's Beef with Broccoli for so many years, I didn't even know about the Crispy Eggplant until about a year ago... when I promptly fell in love with it, and ordered it repeatedly thereafter (alongside the Monk's). I cannot BEGIN to convey my disappointment when they suddenly stopped offering the Crispy Eggplant. However, I assumed they still had my old favorites... but no! The ENTIRE Monk's category has been removed from the menu! AND even the Vegetable Dumplings have disappeared, too! Alllllll the dishes the only dishes I loved are gone! New China House, say it ain't so! Please bring them back!"

"Boyfriend and I was visiting Baltimore for a New Year's Eve party. We drove in a day early and he was in the mood for authentic chinese food. we found this place on Google it was about 25 minutes away from our hotel however we still decided to take the drive. On Google it tells you to make a reservation which is what we did. The place is very nice the food is absolutely delicious, you definitely get your monies worth. Monica our server was awesome. We did go around 8:00 at night, we were the only patrons there that was eating inside. The neighborhood looks a little suspect, and I would advise them to please get some heat. Everlast the service and the food will definitely make me go back again."

"Classic Italian pizzeria. 20 years ago. Nothing beats a classic disc with a snapple. However, they make delicious chicken parm sandwiches w/ Vodka sauce and have chopped large salads as well as from Italian to kitchens. Quick to go out or deliver, but also has a dining room. Will always be over here when in the area and looking for a bite to eat."

"Another fantastic experience at Asuka! The restaurant was busy, so we opted to sit outside which turned out to be perfect. The service was exceptional and the food, as always, was top-notch. David, the manager, was friendly and helpful despite the crowds. The entire staff mirrored David's friendliness. We love coming back here again and again. "Terrible service! My group of four was the only customers in the restaurant at 5:30 PM, yet we had to wait over 20 minutes to be served. As other people came in and were seated, several of them left after waiting for service. While the restaurant was doing a decent takeout business, they completely neglected the customers inside—about 15 of us. I made the mistake of ordering ice cream at the end of our meal, and it took an astonishing 25 minutes to receive it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!"

"If you've never been to a Bread Butter, think of it as one of those multipurpose food markets where you can get anything from sandwiches to salads to burgers to stir fry in various stations, a buffet consisting of a potpourri of different foods, and even random groceries. Oh, and you can get breakfast too. That's really its bread butter (pun intended). Not the best food by any means, but simply a multidimensional place. This place unlike some of the other locations is a bit on the darker side due to a lack of lighting across the interior. I prefer the stir fry from here, though I believe the pastas aren't a bad option either. The buffets are tempting, but remember not to overstuff as you certainly don't want to spend $20 on lunch."

"My family has been dining at this restaurant for years, and it’s one of our absolute favorites. During the COVID pandemic, they took great care to ensure the safety of their customers and their food, which is why we frequently opted for take-out. The portion sizes are generous; we typically get two meals out of each dish. We also take advantage of the 20% off gift card days, allowing us to use the vouchers throughout the year, making it quite budget-friendly. The staff has always been friendly and professional, and the food is consistently delicious."

"We have eaten here for years but had stopped going for awhile. So we decided to go back. The all you can eat sushi had actually gone down in price! The menu for all you can eat is somewhat more limited than other places we have been but still a nice variety. The sushi is fresh and well prepared and presented. I wish they would offer a sashimi menu as well. The Chinese food is always quite good. The hot and sour soup was very good but wish it had a little more sour . The staff were attentive and very friendly."

"This restaurant on Roosevelt Island is absolutely fantastic! The food is outstanding! I especially enjoyed the pizzas I've tasted, but my favorite has to be the lamb gyro, which you can see in the photo. The menu features a delightful variety of options, and they have a great selection of wine, craft beers, and ciders. The lovely patio lets guests take in views of the East River and the park right across the street. Whether you opt for indoor or outdoor seating, it's the perfect place to enjoy a meal and relax. "We compared Bamboo House with Chen Garden and Bamboo House beats Chen hands down. The food is much better tasting, the ingredients are fresher and the servers are more personal and attentive at Bamboo. The hot soup in Bamboo is the best in Rochester. You also have fresh shrimp spring rolls for a dollar with your lunch order with soup... such a great deal! If you like hot chili oil, Bamboo 's homemade chili oil is the best we have experienced... it has a beautiful nutty / roasted taste and is very sharp! It's best to go with it. A must try appetizer is their hot and spicy chicken wings!! It has a unique honey glazed sauce... and spicy hot!! We ordered today the following dishes that were boiled skillfully: Crispy Chicken Chinese style was not overdoned, damp meat, crispy skin family style Tofu was just the right spicy hot, vegetables were skillfully stir fried (krispy) and tofu was perfectly deep fried, not overdone! Pan roasted dumplings fresh, tasty and homemade, not frozen, the diving sauce was tasteful and complements the dumplings perfectly (our second visit): Chow My canton style Subgum, Incredible! See our picture (our third visit): Tofu family style, Sesame Chicken lunch specialties with hot acid and egg drops of soup.. delicious! (fourth visit): fantastic food today! Phat Thai lunch special, Watercress w/ Garlic and Reserved Tofu, shrimp with cashew lunch specially made! (fifth visit): Ordnete Jumbo shrimp with snow pea pods lunch special and that was excellent. Our other lunch special was Jumbo Shrimps with Szechuan sauce was tasteless and sauce was watery again... they need to fix this great inconstancy between their different chefs. (6th visit): FANTASTIC! Order Subgum Cantonese Crispy (pan fried) Noodles that is definitely one of their signature dishes! Our server Fang was great, so great service. Oh, my! We ordered these two dishes: (1) Chen Dao Chicken, (2) Scallops with Hunan Sauce were both amazing! slightly crushed with tempura like dough, the sauce on both dishes perfectly complements the other ingredients (see photos) beef with broccoli, shrimp with broccoli, scallops with Hunan sauce (again) fantastic!! That's the hot soup. The Beef Chow Fun was made it had the 'wok hei'!! We ask for our beef with snow bowl, Hunan sauce instead and it was fantastic! Egg Drop and Hot Sour soups were tasteful! Moo Gai Pan delicious with delicate slices of white meat chicken! Thanks Bamboo House! Keep the big work Bamboo House!"

"I just witnessed them being totally harassed by a customer who was upset of being asked if he wanted chicken or beef. He might have been drunk or something but doesn?t give him a right to speak that way to them. He called the young lady very bad words that I simply cannot write in this review. People really need to chill. She was just doing her job and can?t help it if she doesn?t know what protein you want. Treat food service workers with respect. They have fantastic food and service here but the customers are just plain rude. Stop abusing the workers we all know these times are hard but here they are being here everyday to feed us. At the least we can give them some respect. I don?t do reviews often but they deserve this."

"Fuji was AMAZING! Right in the heart of down town Lowell, Ma., this Japanese Chinese culinary experience is waiting for you! The lunch special is reasonably priced $7.95 normally and $9.75 on the weekends) Call and double check though. Besides the food, I loved how unexpected the spice was. My husband and I walked in on a very quiet Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure if they had any other customers that day but when walked in we were the only two people there other than our hostess/waitress and cook). The restaurant was so expansive with mood lights in the ceiling creating the perfect ambiance. Our food was so good that re wanted to press rewind and eat it all over again. Please go eat at Fuji! You'll thank me later!!!"

"Came here to pick up a Door Dash order and everything was packaged nicely and we got exactly what we ordered. Our dinner included the pork boneless spare ribs and the jalapeno pork. This place made the food extra spicy as we requested and the meal was insanely delicious and flavorful. The quality of this food is incredible and is more than I could have hoped for. I needed to contribute and review this place because they deserve a better rating than they have. If you're looking for amazing flavor and genuine spice, look no further than Si Fu Ginger. I'll make this my regular eat"

"eating, service and ambiente as well as the worth were always fantastic. we were not thrilled about the day menu of the limited mother. to their credit, the personal has done the best to accommodate our suppening wishes and an salat ( whose name was on the special menu). the special menu was very good and we enjoyed our eating, which is why I gave them 4 instead of 5. we also get a garlic infused olive oil for broth. also that was not available for Mother's Day. the personal improvised however with a chopped garlic that was thrown into olive oil....but it wasn't as good as the usual olive oil. for this visit 4 stars. mostly it is a 5-star experience!"

"Wow! The hotel is located at Lawrence Shopping Centre. The complex is now under new ownership, and they've made some improvements, bringing in new retailers. This pizzeria has been around for 30 years, as long as I can remember. The restaurant is family-run, with a father and son working on-site, and they are incredibly friendly and personal. Their menu features high-quality items that go beyond just typical pizza. Be sure to try the NY Strip, Vodka Rigatoni, and Panini Sandwiches. There's plenty of parking available, and it's ADA-compliant. They also have two dining rooms suitable for private events."
