Two eggs cooked to perfection, nestled between slices of bread for a hearty sandwich experience.

"If you've never been to a Bread Butter, think of it as one of those multipurpose food markets where you can get anything from sandwiches to salads to burgers to stir fry in various stations, a buffet consisting of a potpourri of different foods, and even random groceries. Oh, and you can get breakfast too. That's really its bread butter (pun intended). Not the best food by any means, but simply a multidimensional place. This place unlike some of the other locations is a bit on the darker side due to a lack of lighting across the interior. I prefer the stir fry from here, though I believe the pastas aren't a bad option either. The buffets are tempting, but remember not to overstuff as you certainly don't want to spend $20 on lunch."

"Stopped in here for a quick lunch before leaving the city and was pleasantly surprised. We got a couple of subs that were made fresh as we waited. I had the Signature which was piled thick with grilled pastrami, corned beef and swiss cheese, then topped with coleslaw. It was an awesome sandwich and way too much food for one meal, so I get lunch today as well! My wife and daughter both got the Zoolander which had a deep fried chicken cutlet with full strips of bacon and lots of melted, gooey mozzarella. It looked very good as well and they ended up taking half home as well so maybe I'll get one for lunch as well if they're not careful : . In any case if you're out visiting the MOMA and looking for a good lunch, stop by Global Kitchen you will not be disappointed!"

"This place lives off it's past greatness. The waiting area is first come first served, unless you are a regular who get to skip the line and can place their drink order early. Our server was not good. Took a while, rude and forgetful. Pictures will show you everything. Try to find the sunny side up eggs, none they brought me omelet. Yes taste was good. The place is super loud and it sounds like dishes are being broken every 5 minutes. For the amount you are paying and the tip that is required you can find other near by places. I am giving 3 stars because the food was good."

"This charming little diner serves breakfast all day and is a great spot to eat. The customer service is excellent, with staff who are both quick and friendly. The food selection is impressive, and everything we tried was delicious and fresh. The Thai latte is particularly good. I think Sukhvir deserves Employee of the Year for his friendly conversations and top-notch service, especially since we've only been visiting for a few days!"

"National is one of my favorite places in the Bronx. I often find myself spending quite a bit here because I truly appreciate the staff and the delicious food. Their freshly baked goods are absolutely tempting. I highly recommend trying the tuna melt and the patty melt! However, honestly, everything I’ve eaten here has exceeded my expectations. I have never been disappointed with National."

"Incredible, exceptional food! To be honest, I'm not usually a fan of paninis for lunch, but a friend persuaded me to join him. I had a fantastic meal; the paninis were soft and flavorful, and there are so many varieties to choose from. The portion was generous and very satisfying. You definitely need to give it a try! It may not be the cheapest option, and it might strain your budget a bit, but the quality is outstanding."

"I absolutely love the salads at this place! There are plenty of options for add-ins, and they are always fresh, huge, and very affordable at around $10. However, I’m not as impressed with the sandwiches. I visited around 3 PM, close to closing time, and the salad counter was already closed, so I opted for a Turkey club. Unfortunately, it was one of the pre-made sandwiches on display, and it tasted stale and bland. I imagine the sandwiches might be better earlier in the day. Overall, it’s generally less busy and rushed compared to the nearby civic deli."

"I just came across your restaurant while rating my broker, and it reminded me of all the fond memories I have from my time living in BP. You were my go-to place! Since I worked from home, I often ordered breakfast, lunch, and dinner from your wonderful team. I really miss your eggs Benedict, salads, amazing coffee, and cheesecake! I can't wait to bring my husband for lunch and hopefully make it a weekly tradition. Your food is truly missed! Looking forward to visiting you again soon!"

"The Village Eats Cafe and Restaurant is a fantastic option for a quick and nutritious breakfast in the morning. They offer eggs prepared to your liking, along with home-roasted potatoes mixed with peppers and onions, all accompanied by a great cup of coffee. And let's not forget their coleslaw—it's the best you’ll find for miles! Give it a try and see for yourself. Keep up the great work, Village Eats!"

"Not a good experience. Waitress was very rough around the edges . (Slim lady on duty around 6:30 pm Sunday . 2/26/2023). She does not have proper etiquette, barks at you when she speaks and comes across as rude (although I don 't think she INTENDS to be rude, she just doesn 't seem to know how to speak nicely to customers). My roast chicken was bland (no flavor) and I have no idea what this concoction is (see pic attached). It was supposed to be a side of some zucchini dish, but it looks like dog vomit. On top of all of this they charge you about an extra 4% for using your credit or debit card when you check out! I will NOT be back to this diner."

"Please read this! I’ve been coming to Bagels Plus for a while and while the kitchen staff is friendly, the cashiers seem inexperienced. Keep in mind that each condiment costs an extra $0.50, so toppings like lettuce and tomatoes add up quickly — $1.00 just for those two, not including the sandwich itself. If you charge for condiments, please make sure you actually add them to the sandwich, especially since many customers, like me, don’t live in Queens and only stop by occasionally. Always double-check your order to ensure everything is included. One time, I told the cashier with glasses that I was charged for condiments on a previous sandwich that I never received. I asked if they could give me a discount on my next sandwich instead of charging me for something minor like lettuce or tomato. The cashier responded that because it was from a different day, it wasn’t their problem and I should have called that day. But I paid in cash for that sandwich—how would calling help now, especially since I’m back in the city at work? They charged me for something I didn’t get, yet when I complained, I was basically told it’s not their issue and that I don’t have to come back. Rather than adjusting my new order or acknowledging the mistake, they stood their ground and told me I could just go somewhere else. Well, got it."

"I truly wish I could say the food was excellent, but the rudeness of the woman at the counter was unacceptable. It was my first visit, and when I asked a question, she laughed and glanced at her coworker. I chose not to confront her since I was with my child. She really needs to be more kind and professional. Although the food might bring me back, the way I was treated makes it hard to justify a return."

"A rated restaurant. Parking lot is small. Drive-thru?, indoor dining? and takeout? available. ??Face mask is optional here that includes employees. ?????????So just be aware of that. The burgers? were good does not really stand out from others. Best part you can get your own? drinks here. love that. ??They have my favorite drink ??orange bang! Crispy chicken sandwich was good but chicken was dry. French fries were good also does not stand out from others. They have a lot of options so I'm definitely coming back there to try them out. ?"

"We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, enjoying delicious food and a wonderful evening ambiance. We ordered a seafood boil with lemon pepper and another with Old Bay, along with wings and sides of sausage and boiled eggs. To drink, we had daiquiris, Cokes, a sangria, and a Corona. Everything was excellent—the staff was friendly, and our meals arrived promptly. This is definitely a place we would love to revisit."
